From Larry Goodman:

Anarchy Wrestling returned to action in Cornelia, GA in the aftermath of Fright Night 2014 with new tag team champions (The Washington Bullets), a new TV champion (a heel Todd Sexton) and former Elite member Shaun Tempers firmly ensconced as a babyface after blacking Jeff G. Bailey’s eye.

Attendance at the Anarchy came back to earth with the typical TV taping attendance of 80. Thhis was a livelier crowd than usual though, invigorated by a small but vocal contingent of heel rooters. Their presence stirred the regulars to action in support of their heroes. I sure hope those guys keep coming back because the atmosphere was better all the way around.

The thing I really liked about this show was the fresh match ups (BJ Hancock vs. Shadow Jackson, Sexton vs. Slim J, CB Suave vs. the debuting Fred Yehi) and the surprising formation of a new (to Anarchy) tag team.

Some new feuds are on the horizon. Tempers going against the Elite will hopefully add some zip to a tired storyline. We’re sure to get more of Slim J vs. CB Suave going forward and that’s a good thing. Jacob Ashworth vs. Lars Manderson has possibilities.

That said, I wonder what it is going to take to get the heavyweight title positioned at the top of card? It’s the best story, has the most fan interest and has been producing the best matches.

(1)Billy Buck pinned Trevor Aeon at 5:30 after a superkick. A missile dropkick sparked a flurry of offense from Aeon. “This is how you create,” said Aeon as he pounded on Buck’s head. Moving forward, Aeon pointed at his brain, thinking he had outsmarted Buck. Think again. Buck dropped Aeon in his tracks with a nasty neckbreaker and used a spinebuster to set up the coup de grace. A decent match that served its purpose for Buck. Aeon appears to be on the fast track to nowhere at Anarchy.

Postmatch, Buck vowed to do whatever was necessary to regain his position as the number one contender for the Anarchy Heavyweight Championship.
(2) Lars Manderson (with Miss Rachael) and Jacob Ashworth were both counted out at 5:20. The pop for Ashworth was fairly shocking and the crowd followed through during the match. When referee Dee Byers stepped in to break up the intense opening lock up, Manderson nailed Ashworth with a cheap shot. Ashworth answered with a barrage of blows. He showed great fire but the blows needed less quantity and more quality. Dueling chants for Ashworth of “let’s go Jacob” and “Jesus sucks”. Manderson tried to gain a degree of separation on the outside, but Ashworth took the battle to him resulting in the count out.

Postmatch, Rachael boldly stepped in between them and Manderson decked Ashworth with a cheap shot.

(3) Brian Blaze defeated Jeremy Foster in 6:06. Foster snapped a prematch selfie with Blaze and referee D. A. Brewer. The Babyface vs. babyface set up was an opportunity for Foster to display his amateur background. Foster used a crossface chickenwing. The crowd took notice on Blaze’s pumphandle elbow drop. The finish saw both men block finishing moves before Blaze reversed Foster’s inside cradle. I didn’t get this pairing. I get putting Blaze over given where they were going later in the show, but he’s more of brawler and would have been better served by beating a heel than a babyface who possesses superior technical skills. Foster has a lot of fan support here. Losing this match does nothing for him. A loss to a top contender like Buck might have helped him and couldn’t hurt him.

Color commentator John Johnson informed us that the report that he came back to Anarchy just for Fright Night was in error. My condolences go out to play-by-play announcer Bret Wolverton on that news. Johnson said he received a call from a man that needed his help, a man that was tired of making other people better but had nobody helping him. That man was revealed as newly crowned Anarchy TV Champion Todd Sexton. Sexton said former partner Bobby Moore is now Bobby no more. He then singlehandedly beat three men in a steel cage to win the title and with JJ by his side, sky was the limit.
Slim J said Sexton was nothing but a traitor. He tried to get a “traitor” chant going but it didn’t stick.

(4) Todd Sexton defeated Slim J to retain the Anarchy TV Championship in 12:54. J pressured Sexton with his wrestling, forcing the champion to the ropes in lieu of scoring reversals. Sexton took a timeout to consult with Johnson in the announcer’s booth. Sexton cheated on the break to get the advantage. A see saw battle ensued. J with a roundhouse kick for two, but Sexton escaped Screwdriver on the Rock and kicked J in the face. Sexton hit a top rope elbow drop for a near fall and J reversed the pin for a two count of his own. J blocked Sexton’s super back suplex and hit a moonsault block for a near fall. Sexton had the inverted STF scouted and scrambled to the ropes. J was all over Sexton with a spinning headscissors on the floor. That brought CB Suave to ringside to distract J. Sexton capitalized with the Gamebreaker but J kicked out. J hit Screwdriver on the Rocks and Sexton kicked out. Sexton got the crossface applied. J gamely hung on and locked in the inverted STF. Johnson ran down and helped Sexton make the ropes. J confronted Suave who up on the apron. Sexton precipitated a collision between J and Suave, then nailed J with a Codebreaker for the pin. Good match, fun finish. The emergence of the sly, sleazy side of Sexton joining forces with the equally sly and sleazy JJ should be interesting. I’m looking forward to more J vs. Suave.

(5) BJ Hancock (with Miss Rachael) defeated Shadow Jackson to retain the Anarchy Heavyweight Championship in 9:25. Shadow used the headbutts on all fours. Shades of Ronnie Etchison. Eye rakes, eye pokes, more headbutts and a high backdrop. Hancock was seeing stars. Rachael got up on the apron to give the ref an earful. Hancock inadvertently ran into Rachael, knocking her to the floor. Hancock did the X signal. Security rushed over the check on her, and Hancock used the diversion to nail Jackson with a cheap shot. Hancock went on the attack. I love his intensity and his not so quiet desperation. Jackson with a spinebuster hope spot. Crowd chanting for Shadow now. Hancock sprung off the middle rope and got caught with the stunner. Manderson ran out to interfere and was met by Ashworth, drawing the attention of referee Dee Byers, who failed to make the pin count. Jackson countered Hancock’s piledriver and went for the stunner again. Hancock blocked it and rolled Jackson up with a fistful of tights.

Afterwards, Rhymer jumped on Jackson’s back. The attack had zero impact but it did give Hancock time to recover. Rachael’s thugs had a spike piledriver in mind for Jackson. Buck dumped Rhymer off the top and confronted Hancock. They went at it until Hancock slid out to avoid the superkick.
Buck had news for Hancock. Owner Franklin Dove had booked a Mega Rumble for November 22 with the winner earning a shot at Hancock and was in the match.

(6) Fred Yehi defeated CB Suave via submission in 9:40. Suave went offered a handshake from one knee then jumped Yehi from behind. They went back and forth working on each other’s arm. The crowd kind of checked out here. Yehi’s chops got their attention, as did his spinning armbar. Suave bailed and was ready to call it a night, but Slim J had other ideas. Yehi submitted Suave with the Koji Clutch. The focus on the body part made it different. The crowd wasn’t sure what to make of Yehi at first but they got into more as the match progressed. He’s not a tall guy but I was surprised that he looked smaller than Suave.

As Sexton tried to leave the building via the ringside area, Bill Behrens greeted him with the announcement that he would be defending against the returning “Southern Savior” John Skyler on November 22. This news did not make Todd and JJ’s night. It was fine, but it made no sense for Sexton to leave through ringside and clearly the segment would have been done as backstage vignette if Anarchy still had the production capabilities.
(7) Joey Rhymer (with Miss Rachael) defeated Kevin Blue to retain the Young Lions Championship in 8:18. This was a tough slot for these guys. They worked a fast pace and did plenty of stuff, but the match was on the sloppy side compared to Yehi and Suave. Brewer made a pin count when Rhymer’s shoulders were off the mat and the heel fans called him on it. Blue’s running Yakuza kick was on the money, but Rhymer got a foot on the ropes and crawled to the apron. As Blue tried to suplex Rhymer back into the ring, Rachael pulled Rhymer’s legs causing a hotshot on Blue. Rhymer connected with the springboard knee for the pin. The finish was a cool twist on the manager grabbing the legs deal you usually see in that spot.

(8) Washington Bullets (Jon & Trey Williams) retained the Anarchy Tag Team Championships against Geter & Azrael when Brian Blaze illegally pinned Trey at 7:30. Bullets clocked Azrael with the belt, taking him out of the match before the opening bell. For all intents and purposes, it was a handicap match with Bullets doing everything under the sun to take Geter down. Geter withstood the onslaught, being staggered on occasion and no selling most of it. The big spot was Geter doing a fallaway slam/Samoan drop combo on the Bullets. Blaze ran down to take the tag and cleaned house on Bullets. Trey was pinned after Big F’N Deal hit their signature finisher, the side slam/elbow drop combo. The faux title change got a big pop, so the instant push of Big F’N Deal as title contenders seemed to work pretty well, despite the fact that few Anarchy fans had a clue about their history as a team, or Blaze’s recent unjust incarceration.

Geter & Blaze were announced as the new champions. However, Behrens overturned the decision because Blaze wasn’t officially in the match. Gotta love the Bullets. They have no shame and were thrilled to be leaving with the titles in tow.

(9) Shaun Tempers defeated Jagged Edge (with Jeff G. Bailey) by DQ in 8:27. Bailey said he was going to cover up the black eye (received in a post War Games attack by a rail jumping, masked Shaun Tempers), but realized that he needed to look at it for motivation. Bailey said the day Tempers put his hands on him, he changed the face of Anarchy. Bailey promised a new level of violence, bloodshed and vengeance. Tempers dispatched with Jagged Edge and set his sights on Bailey but was cut off by a Jagged clothesline. Jagged gave Tempers a beating. The fans starting chanting for Tempers. Big miss by Jagged and it was comeback time. Tempers hit the hangman’s neckbreaker. Bailey jumped up on the apron to protest. Tempers made a move for Bailey and got caught by Jagged’s powerslam. Jagged produced a roll of tape and taped his thumb ala Ernie Ladd. Jagged repeatedly jabbed the helpless Tempers in the neck with the taped thumb. Bailey entered the ring to assist. Quite the sick scene. The taped thumb was an inspired throwback.

Postmatch -- Jagged continued to jab at Tempers while Bailey laughed his fool head off, until Slim, Buck, Yehi and Ashworh hit the ring to save the what was left of Tempers.
