OUR OVW Announce Team of "Mean Dean" Hill and "Fan Advocate" Terry Boddie (who also handles ring announcing) take straight to the first match.
Match #1: War Machine (Eric Locker & Shiloh Jonze-not wearing glasses- w/Michael Titus & Marcus Anthony) vs OUR OVW Tag Team Champions TerreMex (Randy Terrez & "Mexicutioner" Roberto DeLuna)
Scruffy Ref is in charge of this title match as Dean says Titus hired Anthony as his bodyguard (although Anthony was already working for Titus) as the clip from the November Saturday Night Special is shown with Titus standing over and berating Trailer Park Trash, who was laid out after an attack by Anthony. Boddie notes that Terrez has had shoulder issues after injuring it at SNS. Terrez and Jonze trade moves before tagging to their larger partners. Locker and DeLuna then take turns armworking before Terrez tags back in. Locker kneelifts to the shoulder and War Machine targets this for a bit. Terrez flips Jonze away then after DeLuna works on Locker for a moment, Terrez tags back in and busts out a series of flipping headscissors on him. Terrez hits a dropkick but lands on the sore shoulder and again War Machine targets it as Boddie notes that Titus has "more pep in his step" lately. Terrez gets picked up for a slam but slips away and we get TAGS!! DeLuna does two scoop-n-slams on Jonze and spinebusters Locker but gets tripped up by Titus. Trailer Park Trash wanders out with a blue kendo stick and Anthony stands in front of Titus. Locker gets distracted by all this fracas and gets speared by DeLuna for the pin, so all is right with the world...for the time being.
Dean says later on we will hear from Mohamed Ali Vaez on the state of his career!
OVW returns to Elizabethtown on 11/15!
Match #2: Leon Shelly (w/Deonta Davis) vs Rump Thump
Scruffy Ref is again OUR OVW Official for this match. Davis takes the mic and says that RT should not be dancing but instead do like he and Shelly do and take up rapping! A "you can't rap" chant breaks out then Shelly (who doesn't like dancing) attacks RT from behind. RT recovers to get a rollup for 2 and goes for a sunset flip but Shelly hangs on to take RT down and stomp him. RT elbows free from a headlock but Shelly hits a single arm DDT and grabs a headlock on the mat. RT snapmares free and kneelifts but Davis climbs onto the apron. The ref has to separate RT and Davis as some music hits and out comes THE ASSASSIN!!! Davis see the Assassin and scurries for the exit as RT hits Shelly with Rump Thump The Move for the pin.
Assassin joins RT in the ring for a post match celebration and does the Carlton!
Match #3: "Rudo" Raul Lamotta vs Adam Wylde
The recently-demoted Josh Ashcraft is the ref here as Lamotta piefaces Wylde, who responds by kicking Lamotta's vest out of the ring. Lamotta breaks out the ruthless aggression as Boddie notes that Lamotta feels disrespected around here. Lamotta chops and send Wylde out to the floor and follows to deliver some more chops before rolling him back in. Wylde ducks a lariat and hits a crossbody from 2 then pulls Lamotta into a backslide for 2. Wylde dropkicks twice but Lamotta catches him with a shortarm clothesline followed by an underhook DDT with a one handed cover for the pin.
A clip from last week is shown where Timmy Danger hands off the senior official position to Joe Wheeler before taking on Dapper Dan and losing the match.
Match #4: Timmy "Rampage" Danger vs Mr. Marvelous Melvin Maximus
Ashcraft is the ref again as Danger hammers away with forearms but Melvin just tosses him aside. Melvin slams Danger then stalks him before applying the deadly bearhug, which forces Danger to tap out and got to 0-2.
Melvin takes the mic to say that he misses the OVW Championship. He says at the November SNS he had (current champ) Cliff Compton in the deadly bearhug for over two minutes, which shattered Compton's ribs. Compton managed to roll out of the ring and by the time Melvin got him back into the ring, they got counted out and the title didn't change hands. Melvin challenges Compton for the December 6 SNS but out comes Adam Revolver, who heard Melvin's sad story but champions only get one rematch. Revolver also points out that losers don't get rematches so Melvin would have to go to the back of the line. Revolver suggests that Melvin should have gotten back in the ring sooner so he could take the countout victory. Revolver says since he is a former champion who holds multiple victories over "heavy breathing specimen" Melvin, he officially challenges Compton! Melvin takes exception to this as he grabs Revolver and shoves him into a corner, warning Revolver to stay out of his business!
The Congregation (Rev. Stuart Miles, Jake Glasure, & Jade Dawson) comes out as Dean says that Compton may not be able to defend the OVW Championship before the thirty day time limit is up, so there have been discussions in the back concerning this.
Miles' Good Word is "champion", pointing out that there are three champions standing in the ring and also pointing out several losers in the crowd. Tonight, the Congregation will show who is a real champion against someone who is a loser, adding that they will 'have a leg up" on their competition.
Match #5: "Altar Boy" Jade Dawson (w/Rev. Stuart Miles & Jake Glasure) vs OUR OVW TV Champion Michael (not PS) Hayes
Hayes steps into the ring and stares at Glasure, allowing Dawson to attack from behind with a flurry of offense. Dawson hits a step-up kick that sends Hayes crawling into the corner. Dawson does a standing dropkick for 2 but Hayes kicks out. Hayes gets caught in a rear chinlock but manages to crawl away and get to his feet. Hayes tries a suplex but can't hang on so Dawson just drops. Hayes tries to pick up Dawson again but can't so he just jawjacks him for the pin.
Match #6: "Psycho Superstar" Chris Silvio (w/Mary Jane & Security Guy) vs "The Teflon Don from Boca Raton" Eddie Diamond
Nick Dumeyer is the ref here as Silvio's ribs are still taped. Boddie notes that Silvio has gone from wearing tye-dye to wearing all black while Dean fears that Silvio is starting a cult. It's also notable that there have been no new episodes of "The Chris Silvio Show" for almost a month. They trade a lot of mat wrestling and various strikes to start, leading Dean to opine that Diamond is almost mirroring Silvio's offense. They end up having a slugfest over the top rope that ends with Diamond coming off with a missile dropkick for 2. Diamond goes back up to but Silvio runs up and superplexes him off. Silvio throws a snap suplex followed by another dropkick but Diamond makes him miss a second and catapults him to leave him draped over the top rope. Diamond gets in a few shots to the ribs but Silvio fires back with a spinning elbow to the face. Silvio climbs up top but Diamond knocks him to the floor then dives through the ropes onto him, getting away just before Security Guy comes over. Diamond then dives out again onto Silvio and Security Guy. Mary Jane starts up the apron but gets pulled up by Diamond, who plants a kiss on her! Diamond runs towards the ropes but Silvio meets him with a rocket punch then drops a top rope elbow for the pin.
"Anchorman" Gilbert Corsey is in the ring as 8-time OVW TV Champion Mohamed Ali Vaez comes out looking forlorn. Gilbert says Vaez looks beat up and bruised, noting that the doctors say he cannot wrestle anymore. Vaez tells Gilbert to step aside as he would like to do this on his own. Vaez sits down in the ring. He tells us that eight years ago he walked into this building for the first time, recalling that Rip Rogers told him that he was living the best time of his life at that time, but confesses that he didn't realize it until now. Vaez says he took a shot to the temple in April and now he is having trouble remembering things plus his head hurts every day. Vaez is almost in tears now, saying that it's hard because how he had defined himself as a guy the company could rely on no matter who the matchmaker was, but he's not that guy anymore. After someone heckles him, he then says that as much as his heart wants to keep doing this, he can't so we will never see him again. The crowd applauds as wrestlers and other OVW personnel surround the ring. He thanks Danny Davis for the opportunity as Dean says we are witnessing the end of an era.
We then cut to a shot of Titus in TPT's office doing something with a laptop as the show goes off.
THOUGHTS: Guess we have another cliffhanger with Titus. I found it odd that they cut off Vaez' segment and not let that close the show unless there is something more to that as well. I enjoyed seeing the Assassin again. Another big question is what is the situation with Compton and will he even come back at all? I'll give this show a slight thumbs up.
