Jeff Jarrett comes out to his old TNA music. Of course Jarrett can't discuss anything about Global Force Wrestling since there is nothing to discuss (in my opinion). Josh Ashcraft brings out Retooled War Machine to pitch themselves for alleged positions with this alleged company. Jarrett says he values wrestling fans' opinions!!! (Between that and not carrying a guitar, I'm not sure what to think!) Ashcraft gets offended when Jarrett tells them they have to wait in an alleged line for an alleged position, so they attack Jarrett and Cornette. Danny Davis and Trailer Park Trash come out to chase War Machine away.

Cornette says War Machine embarrassed everyone around here and warns that retribution is coming! If this had happened in Nashville a dozen years ago, Ashcraft and War Machine would have gotten a ticker tape parade!



According to Facebook, Jarrett will return for a meet and greet prior to the 3/7 Saturday Night Special. Also read that former ref "Package" Chris Sharpe would be returning to OVW to work behind the scenes.

Since the 2/21 event in Elizabethtown was cancelled due to the weather, tonight we will get that main event as OUR OVW Champion Mohamed Ali Vaez defends against Ryan Howe.

Dapper Dan vs Eddie Diamond-Apparently Dan hasn't shaved since he lost the TV title, kind of a reverse playoff beard I guess. Lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth over what happened earlier. Dan dominates until Diamond fights him off and pulls him into the Cripwalk Crossface to win.

TV Champ Rump Thump vs Adam Revolver-If the lights went out everyone could just follow the bright white Revolver to the exits. Ring Announcer Terry Boddie is sitting on one of two empty chairs at ringside but of course Revolver uses the one Boddie is sitting in. Revolver gets the win and begins another undeserving reign as OUR OVW TV Champion.

The fundraising video airs. I'm glad to see that OVW will expand their footprint. I'd be OK with that footprint coming down toward Nashville but would settle for the western half of Kentucky.
Davis explains that he doesn't want to raise ticket prices (although OVW generally has cheaper tickets than most places I've been) so they are going the crowdfunding route.

Robbie Walker & Adam Wylde get their tag title shot postponed because Roberto DeLuna can't make it and are willing to wait since they believe DeLuna's partner Randy Terrez is making them an offer that is too good to be true (although the sound cuts out and we can't hear Terrez).

"King" Shane Williams returns and endures a lot of "What?" chants to say he is here to change everything and that no one in the back can lace up his boots, although since he is a king he would probably already have someone to do that. J Best comes out to challenge the "King" and gets a lot of offense in before running into a royal boot and being subjected to the royal fistdrop for the pin. Speaking of "Royal", the piledriver attempt is thwarted by the returning "Double R Superstar" Randy Royal!

Once again the sound is muffled but Michael (not PS) Hayes blames himself for not taking advantage of the opportunity to capture the OVW Championship, so he is going to step back for a bit and return ready!

Eight minutes left in the show as the Congregation jump Ryan Howe and his guitar, but do not steal the guitar instead rolling the battered Howe into the ring. OUR OVW Champion Mohamed Ali Vaez comes out and then the bell rings. Vaez goes all Ronda Rousey and hooks in an armbar but Howe rolls him backwards and Vaez grabs the ropes. Howe twice applies the Whammy Bar, the second time the Congregation hits the ring and attacks Howe for the DQ. Hey Gilbert, Vaez is the "Champion of Faith" since he knows that if he gets in a bind, he has faith that the Congregation will save him!!

Everything but the newsworthy items just seemed so predictable, so I'd have to rate this show thumbs in the middle.
