Anarchy Wrestling News and Notes

A total attendance of over 400 graced the Landmark Arena with their presence during the Hardcore Hell weekend. The box office success of the Friday night NCW shows continued with 120 paid. The last sell out crowd at the building was July 22, 2006 for Hostile Environment 2006 featuring War Games with Devil's Rejects (Iceberg & Tank & Azrael & Shaun Tempers) vs. Team Anarchy (Ace Rockwell & Slim J & Shadow Jackson & Nemesis).

Tank has been in the mix of all three of the Four Corners of Pain matches to take place at the Arena. The first match of its type took place at Fright Night 2001 - Tank & White Trash vs. Blackout (Rainman & Murder One). The second  was at Fright Night 2004 -- Tank Azrael vs. Rainman & Iceberg.

Anarchy returns to action on April 15 with Anarchy Women's Champion Crystal Rose vs. Rock C in a no DQ/no count out match; Odinson vs. all three members of Team TAG in a gauntlet match; Rave Approved (Bobby Moore & Adrian Hawkins) put $1000 and their undefeated streak on the line vs. Stryknyn & newly crowned Anarchy Triple Crown Champion Jacob Ashworth; the return of the Talent Show: Brad Cash will be address what occurred with Tank at Hardcore Hell ; the debuts of "Nightmare" Kyle Matthews and Ryan Vega; Anarchy Tag Team Champions The Lynch Mob will be in action and an update on the status of Gladiator Jeremiah's injury.

Hardcore Hell 2017 will be available on DVD. Michael Gentry and Gabe Walters are the announce team with guest appearance by matchmaker Dan Wilson and Rave Approved.

Former Anarchy owner Franklin Dove and play-by-play announcer Bret Wolverton were in attendance at Hardcore Hell and received warm welcomes when introduced the the crowd.

Other wrestling notables visiting backstage included former Anarchy Tag Team Champion JT Talent, Anarchy TV Champion Truitt Fields and former APW owner Jericho Stone.

Promoter Rick Michaels made his first appearance in front of the fans during the victory celebration for Ashworth becoming the Triple Crown Champion.

The March 31 National Championship Wrestling card has NCW Heavyweight Champion Simon Sermon defending vs. Terry "The Rocker" Lawler; Johnny Nixx answers Brick's $500 Bodyslam Challenge; The Good Ole Boys defend their newly won NCW Tag Team Championship and Ryan Michaels returns to take on The Jagged Edge.
