On April 28,2018, Georgia Premier Wrestling held “Monsters of Wrestling”, a night of tournament-style matches. Attendance was 139 paid.

The show started off with co-promoter Darryl Morris welcoming everyone, only to be interrupted by Brad Cash (who was not scheduled to appear). Cash insisted that he was the true monster of wrestling, and demanded a match. After narrowly missing Cash's left hook, Darryl set up the first match:

Cyrus the Destroyer (with Logan Chase III) defeated Logan Creed (with Brooklyn Creed) and Brad Cash in a triple threat elimination match. Logan eliminated Brad Cash first. The match was then down to scheduled opponents, Logan and Cyrus. Both towering mastodons traded blows until Logan Creed got up on Cyrus. This caused  Chase III to get on the apron in an attempted distraction, only to be thwarted by Brooklyn. Brooklyn and Chase had words and Chase shoved her down. Brooklyn got up and chased Chase to the back. The ruckus caused Logan Creed to become distracted, and Cyrus the Destroyer to pick up the victory to advance in the tournament.

Octavious Black defeated Ox Haney.  This tournament brought a variety of monsters from across the southeast to Canton, GA. Haney was a prime example. Mostly wrestling out of Florida, Haney was there to make a statement. Black is making a name for himself throughout the South, and the audience could see why. Black picked up the victory when he performed a cradle-shock maneuver to Haney.

Shane Daniels defeated  O’Shay Edwards. These two behemoths battled back and forth most of the match. Shane picked up the victory with a vicious elbow strike. 

Bill the Butcher (with Carpenter) defeated Magnum the Eliminator (with Logan Chase III). Magnum is one half of the GPW Tag-Team champions (along with Cyrus the Destroyer). Bill the Butcher opened hot during this match brawling with Magnum. Carpenter and Chase fretted with one another on the outside, trying to one up each other on interfering. This included each holding the other’s competitor on the floor while the referee was counting the competitors out. Chase was caught, and Bill the Butcher picked up the victory by entering the ring before the count of 10. The crowd was behind Butcher the entire match.

After a brief intermission, the second round matches began.

Cyrus the Destroyer (with Logan Chase III) defeated Octavious Black.  Black fought hard, however, he could not overcome the outside interference from Chase III. Cyrus advances to the finals.

Bill the Butcher (with Carpenter) defeated Shane Daniels. Another back and forth match, however, the crowd favorite (Bill the Butcher), pulled out the victory.

The Good Ol’ Boys (Cousin Shaggy and Cousin Cletus) & Torque & Joey Sparks defeated Chip Hazzard & Jerry Anderson & Hex Cross & Lamar Diggs. This match saw a lot of high flying from Shaggy and Torque. Culmination was Shaggy performing a plancha on all the competitors. Finish came when the Good Ol’ Boys/Torque and Sparks all hit moves on Diggs picking up the victory.

Tournament Finale:; Bill the Butcher (with Carpenter) defeated Cyrus the Destroyer (with Logan Chase III). The tournament culminated with a back and forth battle between the two biggest monsters in Georgia today. The finish came when Chase attempted to interfere, only to have Carpenter corner him. Carpenter held Chase at bay with Chase's tennis racket and  his trusty baseball bat. Bill the Butcher countered a Vader Bomb with a powerbomb off the turnbuckles leading to the victory.

This was Georgia Premier Wrestling’s last event at the Buffington Gym. Their new venue is in Canton Village Shopping Center at 261 Marietta Rd. Canton, GA. They will start at their new, air-conditioned, venue on May 11. That show will feature former WWE star- Billy Gunn, as well as a “fans bring the weapons” match. You don’t want to miss that!!!
