Thomson, GA- Viral Pro Wrestling: Infection 3 at the Sweetwater Park Gym- August 11th 2018
(Opening Video Package plays to hype the show) There were over 350 people in attendance with Standing Room Only
Ring Announcer Brett Wolverton welcomes everyone to VPW’s 2-Year Anniversary Show Infection 3
Tracer X defeated Vary Morales in a very action-packed high flying opening contest, both men put on an impressive performance but it was the veteran Tracer who got the upper hand
TJ Boss w/ Bob Keller defeated “The Alabama Ambassador” Jacoby Boykins (This contest saw two of the biggest men in the Southeast battle it out in a VPW ring. Boykins made his long-awaited return to VPW performing a special Live version of his hit single “Gold Belts and Green Dough” to a great reaction from the crowd. Boss started the match off by taking down the big man in Boykins but Boykins soon gained momentum during the match and hit his finish for the pin but Boss’s manager Bob Keller distracted the referee for Boss to hit Boykins with a low blow followed by a pin for the win)
(General Manager PJ Synenberg welcomes everyone to Infection 3 and introduces special guest for the evening former GM, James Kitchens. VPW Owner Joshua Hancock enters, announcing that the winner of the Darius Lockhart vs. Owen Knight Best of 3 Series will get a shot at the VPW Heavyweight Title.)
The Hierarchy (Adrian Armour and Murder One) w/ Slade Porter defeated The Carnies (Kerry Awful and Nick Iggy) to retain the VPW Tag Team Championships (One of the longest ongoing feuds in the southeast made it’s way to Viral Pro as the current champions The Hierarchy defended against the debuting Carnies. The Carnies decided to extend a challenge to The Hierarchy making this match contested under “No Rules” in which they agreed. This match was all over the place with the two teams brawling outside of the ring as well as in, but it was The Hierarchy that came out on top with the help of their manager Slade Porter who used the VPW Tag Team Championship Titles as a weapon to help secure the win for the team. After the match, The Carnies received a standing ovation from the VPW fans with various chants including “Please Come Back”
Owen Knight defeated Darius Lockhart in Match 1 of a Best of 3 Series for a shot at the VPW Heavyweight Championship (Knight scored the first victory in the series with a pin by grabbing the tights of Lockhart)
Sean Legacy defeated Wade Adams/ w Mystery Personal Bodyguard in a Lumberjill match featuring the Soul City Sirens to become the NEW VPW Outbreak Champion
(After months of coming up short for the title due to the tactics of Adams and his Personal Bodyguard, Legacy walked out the new VPW Outbreak Champion with the help of the Soul City Sirens, after the contest Adams furiously slapped his Bodyguard in which he returned the favor with a sit-out chokeslam leaving him in the dust.)

“The Cowboy” James Storm defeated Chris Mayne (James Storm made his VPW debut in Thomson against former Heavyweight Champion Chris Mayne in an Instant Classic. Mayne stood his ground putting on what is saying to be one of his best matches in VPW but it was “The Cowboy” who came out victorious at the end of the night.)
(After the match, Tag Team Champions The Hierarchy with Slade Porter attacked Storm and Mayne only for Jacoby Boykins to come out for the save. Boykins extended his hand to Mayne with Storm watching, hinting at a possible reunion of “The Ambassadors” but Mayne refused and left the ring. Storm and Boykins then celebrated in the ring, thanking the crowd.)
Hexx defeated Chip Day in a Steel Cage Match to retain the VPW Heavyweight Championship
(Chip made his way to the ring, followed by Hexx who entered on a motorcycle which received a huge pop from the fans. After months of getting cheated out of a rightful shot at the championship, challenger Chip Day took on VPW Heavyweight Champion, Hexx in a brutal Steel Cage Match. Both men went toe to toe taking each other to the limit, but it was Hexx who stood tall and walked out with his championship. After the match, former GM of VPW James Kitchens and Damoan Rashad came out to congratulate former fellow Rapture member on his victory, or so everyone thought. Kitchens then hit Hexx with a cheap shot, with Rashad attacking him. They then locked Hexx in the cage, with Kitchens announcing that on October 13th at “Trick or Trauma” The Rapture will rise again as Hexx will face a returning Anthony Henry for the VPW Heavyweight Championship!)
