Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment Report from Atlanta on August 7

Results from The Summer of George-Part I at Fanatics Arena with attendance of 75. New Commissioner Stan Robinson fired Josh Wheeler as Master of Ceremonies; ROAR Match:Gabby Gilbert & Kiera Hogan defeated Ashton Starr & Paul Coldhard with Priscilla Kelly as special referee when Gilbert pinned Starr; Aaron Epic defeated Chris Crunkk in his AWE singles debut; Luscious Laron attacked Kevin Park and Mathias Darkthorne; Sound and Fury (William Huckaby & Joe Black) defeated Viking War Party. Afterward, Coldhard Security represented by new member Rick Ryan and Chris Mayne laid out Sound and Fury; Gary Jay defeated Ethan Case: The Kraken (Murder One & Chip Day) retained the AWE Tag Titles over Death by Elbow (Chris Hero & JT Dunn) when Day pinned Hero via backslide; Robinson suspended Sugar Dunkerton who then knocked Robinson out. Robinson then declared a fall break for AWE; Sean Orleans vs. Curt Stallion vs. Slade Porter was a no contest due to interference by Iceberg; Martin Stone defeated Owen Knight to earn a GWC title shot; Donovan Dijak defeated Adrian Armour; Anthony Henry defeated GWC Champion Jimmy Rave via submission in overtime of a non-title match. Early in the match, Henry declined an invitation to join the Hierarchy.
