Continental/AWN News and Notes

All-Star Wrestling Network returns to action after a month-long hiatus on May 5. "Apocalypse" features Logan Creed defending the AWN Heavyweight Championship vs. Bobby Moore; Heritage Champion Effy Gibbs vs. former Heritage Champion Tyson Dean in a strap match; Champions Damien Bennett & Stunt Marshall defend the AWN tag titles vs. The Nobodies; Bill the Butcher (with Oscar Worthy) vs. Sal Rinauro - Worthy will be chained to the post. If Rinauro can't beat Buthcher in 10 minutes, Worthy joins the match; plus all five members of Backbone (Michael Stevens, Zac Edwards, Drew Adler, Leon McMichael and Shane Curtis) in an elimination match to determine the number one contender for the AWN Heavyweight Championship.

The Continental Championship Wrestling Reunion & Fanfest takes place in Dothan at the historic Houston County Farm Center on May 13. Arn Anderson, Dutch Mantell, Robert Fuller, Ron Fuller,  Bullet Bob Armstrong, Wendell Cooley and "Mr. Olympia" Jerry Stubbs are scheduled to appear. The fanfest starts at 5. Matches at 8 pm.

Ben Masters and Jerry Stubbs will be on the April 27 edition of Peachstate Pandemonium to discuss the CCW Reunion event. 

AWN owner Dennis Gale shut down operations at the AWN Wrestleplex for the month of April to work the building.
