Puerto Rican Wrestling News & Notes

Puerto Rican star Vanilla Vargas, who wrestled for both the World Wrestling Council and World Wrestling League, became the very first UWLA Women's champion by winning a gauntlet match in Lavergne, TN on April 28.  She now defends both the UWLA Women's and the CKCW Women's championships against Diamante on May 12 in Lavergne. 

World Wrestling League was in Dorado, Puerto Rico on April 20 for their Juicio Final show, which was their first major event after Hurricane Maria.  JC Navarro defeated Espectro to win the WWL Heavyweight championship.  Puro Macho Security (David Montes, Electro & Khriz Diaz) won the WWL Six Man Tag Team championships after defeated Excellent Mantel, Mark Davidson & "La Perla Negra" Allison after Davidson turned on his partners.  Thanks to interference from WWL President and the leader of Los Puros Machos, Manny Ferno, "The Mecha Wolf" Mr. 450 defeated Mr. Big to win the WWL Heavyweight championship.  Los Puros Machos started beating up the entire WWL roster until Savio Vega made his return.

The next WWL event will be on May 26.
