This will be a setup show as Southern Honor will be taking the month of April off. The crowd at bell time is around 400 but people are still coming in.
Chris Silvio (with Jenna Van Muscles) vs Sean Legacy
Silvio is from the Richmond, VA area (and a former two-time OVW TV Champion and six-time Southern Tag Champion) . Legacy is from the Augusta area of GA (and the current Viral Pro Outbreak Champion). Both men are of a smaller size so I'm anticipating an up-tempo style match. Silvio was accompanied to the ring by a rather statuesque blonde lady with the name Jenna Van Muscles. She's acting as a heater for Silvio, ala Chyna. The crowd is firmly behind Legacy. The ending started with Silvio tossing Legacy out to Muscles and Muscles holding Legacy up for Silvio's dive through the ropes. Legacy moves and Silvio nails Muscles instead. Legacy gets Silvio back in the ring and lands the 450 splash for the win. Time 8:35. Grade B-. An above average opening match. the crowd didn't know Silvio or Van Muscles and while they did a few heelish things, more could have been done.
The New Era (Owen Knight with Lee Johnson) vs Joe Black
I still pop for the Castlevania: SOTN stanza of Joe's entrance music. Joe doesn't come as he has a leg injury and is out for 6 months. Owen makes the ref start the match and initiate the ten count. 41 seconds later, the 10 count ends and Owen is declared the winner. Jordan Kingsley's music hits and he comes out. A new match starts…
The New Era (Owen Knight with Lee Johnson) vs Jordan Kingsley
I would have liked Jordan to get on the mic and challenge Owen and have Owen respond. A lot of NE shenanigans put heat on Jordan but Jordan is able to win with a roll-up off Owen's attempted finisher at 8:38. As Owen is up on stage, Joe Black comes out with his crutch and nails Owen with it. The match was ok, from what I could see of it with everyone standing up in front of me. I got a different chair to see the ending, C+.
Revolt (Caleb Konely and Zane Riley) vs The Lynch Mob (Joey and Matt Lynch)
The Mob is super over at Southern Honor. The Revolt looks to be an interesting combination; both men are of similar height but different body styles. A little bit of comedy to start with. Frequent tags and double teams early for the Mob lead to several pin attempts. The Revolt are able to isolate on Matt. A "Peter Giffin" chant starts, directed at Riley. A rather interesting double team on both members of the Mob by the Revolt. Heat back on Matt. Hot tag to Matt and he goes after the Revolt and is able to get a 2 count. The Revolt counterattack and double team Joey. The match ends with a cutter on Caleb, then a roll by Joey, followed by a splash from Matt, and then the Moonsault by Joey for the pin. Time: 12:38. There was a lot of action going, this would be a match to review when it's released on the website. Grade: A-
Gary Lamb comes out. "And the crowd goes wild". Says that some people said that SH wouldn't last 3 months, then some people said that that SH wouldn't last 6 months while looking towards me and earning me a "that guy sucks" chant but I think Gary was thinking about someone else. SH has to take the month of April off but on May 3rd, the goal is to get 1000 people in the building. Says to bring everyone even your worst enemy and if that happens, you can fight after the show.
Over 500 have filed in tonight. Traffic coming up 75 delayed the arrival of some of the crowd. Brian Kane is in attendance. CB Suave is walking around dressed up as Shawn Michaels, waving around signs and leading some cheers and boos.
The New Era (Dani Jordyn with David Ali) vs Ashton Starr in an intergender match
Ashton has a shirt with a trash can on it. This match has shenanigan written all over it. Some good back and forth for the first several minutes. Dani locks in a Disarmer but Ashton reaches the ropes. Dani gets in the face of the ref. Ashton lands 2 monstrous slaps to the face of Dani and lands a wicked knee to the face for a very close near fall. Ali has found a trash can lid and is threatening to use it on some ringside people. Ashton kisses her and nails a superkick but Ali grabs Dani and gets her out of the ring. An Ahston splash takes care of Ali but Dani regains the advantage. Dani's up top and hits a tilt-a-whirl DDT but it looks like Ashton's foot was on the rope. Ali's up on the apron holding up the lid, telling Dani to throw Ashton into it. Ashton reverses but Dani was able to put on the brakes and not get hit. Ashton is able to roll Dani up and flip his legs over as well to get the pin at 13:48. Wow, can't believe how limber Ashton was on that cover. With surprisingly very little shenanigans, this was a very entertaining match, B+.
The New Era (David Ali and Lee Johnson) vs Sunny Daze (with Ravenna Vein) in a handicap match
TNE attack before the bell but Sonny is able to fight it off. The action goes outside for a moment with Sunny throwing Ali into the barricades. Lee is able to DDT Sunny when he comes back into the ring. Sunny taking some heat, He's trying to make a comeback. Blackhole slam on Lee and moves as Ali is coming off the top with an elbow which lands on Lee. Sunny hits Sister Abigail for the win. Time 7:25.
Sunny throws Ali at Ravenna and she nails a DDT on him to the delight of the fans. I know they were pressed for time but I would have like Sunny take a bit more punishment before the rally back. C+/B-.
Kevin Ryan vs Alan Angels for the Southern Honor Championship
Alan nails Kevin with the belt when Kevin turned towards him after the introductions and Alan yells at the ref to ring the bell. The bell rings and Alan is in control, go figure. Alan tosses Ryan out of the ring and is content with the ref counting Ryan out. Ryan slides in and gives Alan the alternative "You're #1" finger. Both men are outside and Ryan is able to post Alan. Ryan sets up for a dive but Alan comes in and hits a brutal knee to the side of Ryan's face for a near fall. A double clothesline resets the momentum and Ryan seizes it with consecutive topes and getting a near fall. Alan lands a wicked clothesline for a near fall. They are trading forearms and Kevin gets the better of the exchange. Ryan misses a top rope move and Alan hits the Wingsnapper for the win in a time of 10:33. I give it a B+. Both men are up-tempo and one day, maybe, Kevin can have a match where he can slow down a bit.
An AC Mack promo airs with comments directed at Alan in the ring. Lamb comes out and congratulates Alan for the win and confirms Alan and AC Mack on May 3 for the championship. Lamb then changes it up and says that Shannon Moore wants Alan as well and adds Shannon to the match.
A video recap of the Corey Hollis/Logan Creed feud.
Corey Hollis vs Logan Creed
Hollis nonchalantly walks to the ring with his hands in his pockets. The little details that Corey does as a heel amaze me. Hollis kicks the rope as Logan enters the ring and starts throwing punches. Logan starts smiling and shoves Corey off and hits a boot. Logan lands a chokeslam onto his knee, could've pinned him then but wants to do another chokeslam and lands it. A video plays of Sunny Daze and Ravenna outside and Sunny's bleeding, there were some words being said but I couldn't hear them. Back in the ring, Brady Pierce enters the ring from the crowd and he and Corey take Logan apart. The ref calls for the bell, time 2:08.

Pierce wraps a chair around the face of Logan and Corey superkicks it. All we need now is Gunnar Miller to complete the Country Jacked stable. They are able to peel up a corner of the padding of the ring. Corey's on the mic and he runs down Logan and the fans and tells Brady to drive Logan's head through the boards. Brooklyn Creed hits the ring and starts to verbally berate Corey and then slaps him but good. While Brady has got Logan tied up, Corey grabs Brooklyn and piledrives Brooklyn into the boards and then he and Brady bailout of the ring. Security finally comes out and they bring out the stretcher. They get her tied down and take her to the back. The crowd is stunned by what has happened to Brooklyn and the hatred for Hollis has grown exponentially.
And the set-up has been laid out to try to get 1000 people into the Action Arena: Can AC Mack defeat two men to lay his mitts onto SH's championship and will Logan Creed be able to exact revenge on Corey Hollis and Brady Pierce for what they did to Brooklyn Creed. The New Era sustained four losses and the only win was Alan's. Can they regroup and re-establish dominance?
