Five matches are advertised for tonight's show, headlined by a three on two handicap match featuring Clyde Braddock and Tyson Dean squaring off against Bill the Butcher, Brian Blaze, and Shane Marx with the stipulation that if Clyde or Tyson score the pinfall, that person will face Shane Marx at Thanksgiving Turmoil for the PWA Heritage Championship, but if Bill or Brian score the win, Shane will choose who he will meet.
The PWA Tag titles are on the line as Dem West Ga Boyz challenge CB Suave and Romeo. The PWA Women's champ, Crystal Rose, will defend against for NWA Women's Champ, Kacee Carlisle. Slade Porter will make his PWA debut facing the always dangerous Marco Wicker, and returning to PWA after almost a decade away, Brad Lynch, one of the most despised wrestlers in West Georgia, faces his long-time foe, Frankie Mayhood, ne Valentine.
"Fast" Eddie Layne and Jason Boyd are on commentary with Boyd also handling ring announcing duties. Mike Jones and "Grandpa" Darryl Hall are your referees.
109 is the attendance at the VFW Fairgrounds.
I've said it before in other reports, Brad can get heat from a corpse that's been in the frozen tundra for 30,000 years. It's not like the gimmick has changed; people really want to see him get beat up. Hell, a lady in a wheelchair got on her feet to give him the middle finger. This match with Frankie is the latest in the ongoing feud between them, it's one of the first programs I saw when I started going to events in Georgia. Despite stalling tactics from Lynch, Mayhood's in control until the Mercenary gets involved. Mayhood's nose is busted open. The ending of the match had both Tweety and Mercenary up on the ring apron while Brad was getting ready to hit Frank with a chain. Tweety slapped Merc, and that distracted Brad and the ref saw the chain and grabbed it. Frank rolled Brad up for the pin at 11:05. The crowd was ecstatic that Brad lost, B-
PWA Women's title match: Kacee Carlisle vs. Crystal Rose (c)
Kacee is a former NWA Women's champion. Kacee's on the mic and says that she drove all the way from DC because she heard that PWA has a fighting women's champion. She challenges Crystal to wrestle a straight-up, by the book match. Crystal's answers off the bell with a wild right hook that Kacee ducks. Kacee tries for a rollup off the miss but only gets one count. The women trade-off on pin attempts until Crystal gets frustrated and bails out of the ring. Back in the ring, they trade off on holds and counters. Kacee gets a two count off of a sidewalk slam. They trade straight edge chops in the middle of A double arm under hook gets another near fall for Kacee. The ladies are wrestling better than some men I know. Crystal misses a butt splash from the turnbuckle, and that leads to Kacee doing two amigos. Crystal breaks up the third attempt and hits her finisher to get the clean pin at 8:17. Kacee congratulates Crystal on a clean match. The crowd is in disbelief that Crystal didn't cheat, and quite frankly, don't know what to make of it, B- for the wrestling.
Marko Wicker vs. Slade Porter
This is The Private Eye's PWA debut. The crowd was rather quiet for both men's entrances. Marco bails out and tries to work up the crowd. Marco sucker punches Slade and works him around the ring. Slade counterattacks, and they make their way back into the ring. Slade slaps on a spinning toe hold, but Marco punches his way out of it. Slade falls down the ring steps. The crowd is being all Meh with a few; this is boring calls. Slade gets a near fall off of a jumping DDT from the middle turnbuckle. Marco gets a near fall off of a Spicoli Driver onto his knee. The finish saw Marco running around the ring, nailing Slade with a knee, then locking in a submission to get the tap out at 10:49. As quiet as the women's match was, this was quieter. You could almost hear the arteries of most of the crowd hardening. This is one of those matches where they do everything right in the ring, but the crowd went: Poof! D+ and I can't tell you how much it pained me to do that.
Tommy TooMuch appears ringside and says that he was told that Marko and Ben Buchanan want another match. Tommy noted that Marlo made a rookie mistake by not reading the fine print and that the match will be a steel cage match. Also, he missed a detail that Tommy TooMuch will be the special guest referee in the match on Nov 2nd. The crowd reacted to that, finally.

PWA Tag Team Championship: CB Suave and Romeo (c) vs. Dem West Ga Boyz (Josh Storm & Sean Nelson)
The crowd comes alive for CB and Romeo's entrance, with boos, jeers, and USA chants. Shane Noles comes out states that he thinks that CB and Romeo were the masked men who cost Noles and Ace Haven their match at the last show. Romeo answers back, denying the allegation and that everything that he and CB do is right in Noles's face. Noles says that he'll find out real soon.
The crowd loves the Boyz. The Boyz control the early portion of the match until CB trips Josh, who was on the top turnbuckle. Josh is taking the heat and some near falls. Romeo misses a corner splash, and that starts the hope spot, but CB pulls Sean off the apron to prevent the tag. CB and Romeo go for a double team, and Josh is able to convert it into a double DDT, and he makes the hot tag to Sean. Sean is cleaning up the ring and gets the near fall on Romeo. CB takes a wicked clothesline from Sean. Romeo takes Sean down. Josh breaks up another pin attempt, and he's fighting CB and Romeo now. The Boyz double team CB but he's not the legal man, so they go set up Romeo, and they hit the move, but Grandpa is taken out as well. Two masked men come out with chairs, and they take down Romeo, which leads to the Boyz getting the win at 15:53. The Boyz are the new PWA Tag Team Champions. B+.
CB's on the mic, and he says that he's been coming here year after year, weekend after weekend, and he's tired of this sh!t, and he quits. CB storms out, and Romeo is looking forlorn, and he leaves. An unexpected swerve with these masked men attacking and costing the champs the titles. We will have to see what will happen at Thanksgiving Turmoil in regards to this.
Main Event: Two on Three Handicap match: Cylde Braddock and Tyson Dean vs. Shane Marx, Brian Blaze, and Bill the Butcher (with Matt Hankins)
Blaze and Dean start off. Dean and Braddock are frequently tagging. Brian is able to tag in Shane, and Dean arm drags him over. Shane quickly tags out. Brian's arm is really getting worked over. A knee to Dean's back brings in Bill, and Dean is quickly in trouble. Dean is able to tag out, and Clyde tries to attack but gets dumped over the top rope. Things break down from there. Tyson, Bill, and Brian fight ringside, and Clyde is able to pin Shane at12:02. B+.
Bill attacks Cylde, and the lights in the building go out, and when they come back on, Geter is standing in the ring. Bill goes to attack him, and Geter throws Bill halfway to Villa Rica. Hankins says that Cylde will be the next one to be beaten by Marx, Blaze will be Dean for a month straight, and Geter has gotten involved in Hankins business for the last time.
I really didn't know what to make of the show tonight. The crowd seems to be very iffy about things that are going on at Peachstate. As with everything, it will be revealed in time. Thanksgiving Turmoil will be Nov. 2nd back here at the VFW Fairgrounds.
