ANARCHY HYPE TV TAPING REPORT from 11-10-18
With the fallout from Fright Night still on everyone’s minds, Anarchy returned to the historic Landmark Arena with a night of Anarchy Hype TV tapings.
In the opening match Michael Manson came to the ring led by Nina Monet and Crystal Rose as the newest member of the Cult of Cash. His opponent was Landmark Arena Hall of Famer, “The Angel of Death” Azrael. Azrael had not competed in an Anarchy ring since Hostile Environment 2017. Azrael made quick work out of the “Psycho Punk”. Afterwards Nina Monet entered the ring and hit Azrael with a low blow from behind. She began putting the boots to Azrael. Crystal Rose entered the ring to seemingly join in on the beating. Instead, she attacked Monet and tossed her from the ring. Rose then grabbed the microphone and told Monet she had just made a huge mistake. She told the Landmark Arena and Monet that she crossed the line when she laid her hands on her husband, Azrael. Rose then challenged Monet to a match the next time Monet got the courage to come back to the Landmark Arena.
The Northern Lights made their return to the Landmark Arena to take on the Anarchy tag team champions, GB1C. GB1C dominated this match up from the opening bell. The Lights showed moments of brilliance in this non-title contest, but their hopes were dashed at just about every turn. GB1C was on their way to a win, until the music of Master and Machine filled the Landmark Arena. Marcus Kross and Griff Garrison came out and circled the ring distracting GB1C just long enough to allow the Northern Lights to get a roll up and the surprise win.
The night of returns rolled on as Kenji Brea returned to get his mandatory rematch for the Landmark Arena Heritage championship. Will Kaution has been on an impressive run since winning the Heritage championship from Brea a couple weeks before Fright Night. Brea attacked Kaution before the bell with a relentless attack and vicious strikes to the head. Kaution was able to make a comeback and hit his flying elbow to retain his Landmark championship.
Three time, former Anarchy Tag Team Champions, The Washington Bullets made a triumphant return to take on the young team of Master and Machine. This was an exciting back and forth contest that saw the Landmark Arena fans split between the two. The Bullets had their full offensive flurry on display, but the Master and Machine were not to be outdone as they also displayed their unique offense. In the end it was Master and Machine taking the win after hitting the Goodman Bomb. Afterwards, GB1C hit the ring to attack Garrison and Kross. The Bullets returned to help Master and Machine dispatch of the tag team champions. Afterwards, the Bullets and Master and Machine shook hands in the center of the ring in a show of respect.
Sal Rinauro entered the Arena wearing his old G-Rated shirt as he took on Chase Jordan and was showing off many of the technical skills he is known for. Rinauro seemed balanced and focused until Jordan hit a flying forearm on Rinuaro. This sent Rinauro into a rage and he began referring to Jordan as Seth. He even put the G-Rated shirt on Jordan just before he hit the “Slam of the Week”. Afterwards he grabbed Jordan and held him. Cody Vance entered the ring and began a beatdown on Jordan. Delay entered the ring and confronted Sal. Vance positioned himself behind Delay and attacked. It was a 2 on 1 with Sal still seemingly wanting to not have to lay his hands on Delay. The attack continued until Bolo made the save and chased Vance and Rinauro off.
The New Threat with Matthew Hankins took on Team TAG in six man action. This match had all the combustible elements we have come to known when they lock up inside the ring. The New Threat started quickly as they attacked Team TAG in the back and the six men fought out to the ringside area. The match continued with The New Threat claiming the advantage and cutting the ring in half. Team TAG fought back and things broke down once again with action spilling out to all ends of the Arena. Back in the ring, Geter was able to get the victory over Blue.
In the main event, it was Anarchy Heavyweight Champion, Logan Creed taking on Stryknyn in a non-title Casket Match. Creed told the crowd that he wrestles when he wants in whatever match he wants. He went on to say he did not agree to this match and it wasn’t going to happen. He went to leave the arena but was met by Stryknyn and a fireball to the face. The two men were going back and forth all around the ring exchanging blows. Creed positioned Stryknyn with part of his body inside the coffin and used a chair on the casket to injure Strynyn’s back. He fought back and the two men fought with valiant effort to place the other in the casket to no avail. At one point Stryknyn tossed Creed on to the top of the casket. The Anarchy champion would not be deterred, as he fought back. In the end it would be a spear that sent Creed into the casket and Stryknyn as the winner.
Anarchy returns to the Landmark Arena on Saturday November 24th. Already signed for this event is an 8 man Survival match featuring Sal Rinauro, Cody Vance, and GB1C taking on Seth Delay, Bolo, and Master and Machine. Chris Spectra gets his rematch for the Anarchy Television Championship against Shane Marx with Matthew Hankins. Sal Rinauro gets a shot at the Landmark Heritage Championship when he faces Will Kaution. The Anarchy heavyweight Champion Logan Creed will be there along with many of the stars of Anarchy.
