On the heels of the successful Golpe De Estado 2019 event (held at the famous Mario Quijote Morales Coliseum in Guyanabo in September), IWA Puerto Rico returns with Hardcore Weekend at the Rubén Zayas Montañez Coliseum in Trujillo Alto. This event will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 with an 8:00 PM bell time.

Matches already announced include:

-"El Boricua Mayor" Savio Vega competes against the new owner of 25% of the company, Slash Venom (aka Flash Flanagan, who wrestled throughout the Southeastern US, including USWA in Memphis, Music City Wrestling in Nashville and Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville when it was WWE's top development territory,  as well as being an IWA Puerto Rico roster and appearing in WWC during the 41st Anniversary Show Weekend in 2014.)

-In a Bull rope match, Georgia Wrestling Superstar and two time IWA Puerto Rico World Champion Mikael Judas defends the Championship against "El Rabioso" Mr.Big.

-Former IWA Puerto Rico World Champion: "La Nueva Cara" Electro (with whom the rest of his Puro Machos team members returned to WWL at their Insurrection event as their future in IWA Puerto Rico is in doubt) will go up against newly reigned IWA Intercontinental Champion (not the Georgia star) Monster Pain for the title.
Matches for this event are made by IWA Puerto Rico General Manager Chicky Starr.

Just days before Halloween, the Puerto Rican Wrestling Scene is already gearing up for an intense holiday season. Given the aftermath of World Wrestling Council's live event on Saturday, October 19 (held at the Lauro Davila Coliseum in Toa Alta), a first match was already announced for their upcoming show Noche De Campeones (Night of Champions). The current WWC General Manager, "Mr.Raytings" Ray Gonzales will put on his wrestling gear one more time against the man who leads El Sindicato and is a former WWC Universal Champion "The Precious One" Gilbert. (It is of note that Gonzales cost Gilbert in the WWC Universal Championship this past summer durnig WWC's 46th Anniversary Show Weekend.) This will be a loser must retire match, where if Gonzales loses, he will no longer wrestle ever again, and if Gilbert loses, his career in WWC is over. With that in mind, see below for two episodes from WWC last weekend as the Countdown to their upcoming event continues.





Comerio's Champions Wrestling Association will have their Halloween Fan Fest on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Rafael Rexach Mini Coliseum in Guaynabo. Bell time will be 8:00 PM, and the fans have control of the matches.

At last Saturday's Halloween Death or Fear event from Lajas' John Wrestling Promotion, CWA Women's World Champion:"La Chica de la Actitud" Roxxy with fellow Untraditional member (who is currently on IWA Puerto Rico and the development territory Manati's Pro Wrestling Caribbean promotion) won the JWP World Tag Team Championships from former champions: Lady Zaphiro and Kayla Joinie in San German.

With last week's Insurrection event through FITE TV, as well as last Saturday's High Voltage La Revancha Tour with Puro Macho led by "El Macho Alfa," Manny Ferno returned to World Wrestling League. With their future in IWA Puerto Rico in doubt and up in the air, fellow members "El Ejecutor" JC Navarro and "Krhiz "The Chosen" Diaz are now two time IWA Puerto Rico World Tag Team Champions. Their upcoming defense is supposedly for Hardcore Weekend in Toa Alta on Saturday, November 30.

On Sunday, October 20, new graduates from former WWL World Champion: "El Escorpion" Mike Mendoza's Espiritu Pro Wrestling Dojo, Edrax and Adan Riggs had their chance in being number one contenders for San Juan's Champions Wrestling School's World Tag Team Championships (which currently held by Los Dominguez).
