Southern Honor ran it’s “go home” show Sept 3rd setting the table for the big anniversary show on Oct 8th. The crowd of over 300 witnessed many moving parts as the chess pieces were put into place and next month’s show looks to be a barn burner. Highlights of the show were: 

 ● Technical Excellence (Chip Day & Kyle Matthews) vs The Revolt (Kaleb Konley & Zane Riley): This match was as very good as you would expect from these two technically sound teams with the champions going over. I love The Revolt team even though they have yet to win in SHW. 

 ● Cyrus absolutely destroyed Jordan Kingsley even though the kid put up a valiant effort. Cyrus continued the assault post match but Kevin Ryan returned to SHW and made the save to set up a handicap match next month. 

 ● Joe Black and Owen Knight went one on one with both of their original opponents out which added to the set up for the War Chamber which we will discuss more later. The match (won by Knight) was very good and that shouldn’t surprise anyone who has followed these two’s careers.

 ● All Star Special (William Huckaby & Hold My Beer Hanson) vs. Overkill members Zicky Dice & Ashton Starr ended in a no contest when Technical Excellence chased Ashton and Zicky out to the streets where Ashton and Zicky escaped in a get away car with the championships. 

Meanwhile in the ring, All Star Special was attacked by now two mystery men. They took off there mask revealing The Approved (Bobby Moore and Adrian Hawkins), and that Gary Lamb knows who they are and they kicked in his front door. Now the ball is in Gary's court to respond. All Star looks to get revenge at the anniversary show I would assume and Zicky & Ashton will have to answer for their actions and face TE for the titles next month. 

 ● Reka Tehaka did not have an announced opponent but a “mystery opponent” who looked to be from Mucha Lucha stunned the crowd by surprising Reka and pinning her. The masked lady then shocked the crowd again when she unmasked to reveal herself as Dani Jordyn. She would challenge Reka to any type match next month and Tehaka chose a strap match to end this feud. 

 ● Geter arrived in SHW to face off with an old foe, Gunner Miller. The two have a long history and the chatter between the two told the story to the crowd. It was as hard hitting as you’d expect and Gunner Miller managed to get the better of the giant and took home a victory. Post match Gunner took the mic and called out Corey Hollis with a challenge for SHW Still Here 3 where both would put their careers on the line. We will have to see if Hollis will accept and go one on one in what could be their last bout. 

 ● In the main event, David Ali defended the SHW Championship against the 2021 RumbleJack winner, Austin Towers. Towers showed why he’s been making moves and rising up cards all over the state. He took it to the champ but Ali would go home with the title following a DQ finish that saw Owen Knight and Joe Black get involved. Towers was irate after realizing the two had cost him his opportunity. The issue will be settled next month as now we will have David Ali (barring he is defeated by Jon Davis at Hell Freezes Over) defend the title against Joe Black, Owen Knight, AC Mack, Austin Towers, and Judas in the War Chamber. War Chamber will be a typical Wargames set up but will be every man for himself for the SHW Championship. 

 ● Brooklyn Creed said people were calling Logan her bitch but he had been a bitch for all the promoters while she has been gone. Now he is the monster everyone said they wanted. She then mentioned that if Ravenna Vein had an issue with them to send her lap dog down. Shean Christopher came down to a beatdown.  As Logan (Kruul) continued, Vein came down. When it looked like she was going to get assaulted, Sunny Daze came down to make the save.

As Brooklyn tried to corral Creed to the back, he attacked Zac the Gear Guy and slammed him thru a table leaving the crowd stunned. He then was pulled to the back by Brooklyn. Talk about a way to get heat. No one thought he was "cool" after that. They fans bombarded Creed with "You suck" chants after that disgusting act.  

The card served was not only entertaining but served it’s purpose to set the promotion’s anniversary show card. SHW returns to the Action Building on Oct 8th for Still Here 3.
