A six man scramble match has been added to Chicagoland Championship Wrestling's New Era event on Saturday, May 21 at the Berwyn Eagles Club sanctioned by World Organization of Independant Wrestling. Magnum McLaren will defend the Project X Wrestling Canadian Heavyweight Championship against WrestleLeague's teen prodigy Kid Lat, Trik Davis, "The Wizard of the Mat" Ari Akuma, a crafty Puroesu veteran mixes a blend of Japanese, British, and Lucha Libre styles and the debuting Shawn Phoenix.
Puerto Rico's CWA promotion ( a WOIW member promotion in the Island for the past two years) is on the road to their Fifteenth Anniversary Show later this year. "El Mejor" Dimes is still the reigning Undisputed CWA World and Intercontinental Champion, Luis Barreto, the new Vice President of the promotion has been busy with the return of the CWA Women's Division and their reality based show called Bendita Lucha Libre (Blessed Wrestling).
