We start with Drew Dickinson in the ring who introduces Nick Patrick to the ring. Nick thanks the crowd and talks about the future of DSW before bringing out fellow wrestling legend Scott Hudson! Hudson has two mystery bags in tow that are revealed as the last Tag Teams Titles from DSW’s WWE affiliate days accompanied by a great story about the titles from Nick.
Match 1: Hitman for Hire Vs. Professor Pain (w/ CDub)—Hitman attacks the Professor before even their names are called to gain the upper hand. Between the crowd’s adoration for him AND CDub’s energy on the outside, Pain makes the comeback and makes quick work of Hitman finishing him off with his pronounced Belly-to-Belly suplex for the win!
Match 2: Spi-Ral Vs. Najasism—Practically non-stop action for the entire contest. Both superstars traded spots and moment of dominance throughout. Just when the crowd sensed a Naja win, Spi-Ral catches the former DSW champ and secures a great resume padding victory for the Bosnian Warchild.
Takeaway: these two are always so high energy that many have a tough time keeping their pace. Neither had any issue going move for move with the other.
Eric Adamz in the ring to hype the crowd and introduce the face of the Women’s division, Gemma Jewels (w/ Ray the Entrepreneur). Eric relays to the crowd that Gemma’s opponent Nahir Robles is not at New Realm. Before Jewels can celebrate he says however he DOES have a new challenger: WoW Superstar FURY!

Match 3: Gemma Jewels (w/ Ray the Entrepreneur) Vs. Fury—Gemma first wants to take the action to Fury until the Deep South newcomer starts returning the fire to Jewels. Right on cue, Ray gets involved to swing momentum Jewels way. This eventually leads to Ray getting smashed off the apron to the unprotected floor. His distraction was effective as Fury’s charge was upturned by Gemma who gets the victory.
Takeaway: Gemma is the face and mainstay of the DSW Women’s division. Finding enough opponents to surround and build with her will be a big challenge.
Match 4: Luka Daniels Vs. Cosmos Martinez— Early speed ball action from Cosmos to put Daniels on his heels. It took Luka a minute to reverse the calculated arial attack from the masked superstar. Once in charge, Daniels used power and precision to keep the pace where he likes it: moderate and steady. Cosmos gets a boost from the crowd and almost have his hand raised…only to have Daniels deliver a devastating piledriver for the 1,2,3. After the match, Luka adds not one, not two, but THREE extra piledrivers to Cosmos who is now on the shelf with neck issues per a DSW official.
Takeaway: these two are common opposition for one another and that chemistry shows. Always a classic, solid wrestling performance every time the lace up the boots across from each other.
Match 5: Apollo Prince Vs. DJ Smoke—the power of Prince against the speed and elusiveness of Smoke had the crowd jumping at this one. Prince was able to keep Smoke in arm’s reach for most of the match and delivered power move after power move to break down the smaller opponent . It was only when he made a misstep that DJ used his speed and flying ability to counter Apollo’s strength. Back and forth it goes until the aftermath of a well executed rollup sequence where both competitors got near three-counts before well timed kick outs. In the end, Smoke gets his hand raised and the crowd let both know of their appreciation.
Takeaway: like Luka & Cosmos, these guys have locked up a ton and it shows greatly.
Adamz came out in the end to announce at the upcoming show in July at New Realm, these two will face off for a deciding 7th time (series tied 3-3) to determine the #1 contender for the Heavyweight title.
Main Event for the DSW Heavyweight Championship: Jacob Johnson Vs. Skrilla the Great (c)—These two barely let the introductions finish before it was on! Jacob was channeling all of the setbacks and tomfoolery that has kept him from his fair rematch against the champ. Lots of pent up aggression from both men lead to some massive, bone-shattering maneuvers! Since there was a no DQ stipulation on this one, the two heavyweights were quickly all over the concourse of New Realm as fists and beer were flying. Finally back in the ring, the ref gets a little close and hits the mat in a heap! Johnson and Skrilla with pinfall attempts to no avail as the official comes to in time for a close 2, keeping the match going. Lamar Diggs comes barreling down the aisle to take out Jacob. While the two monsters were battling, CT Entertainment (doing guest commentary at the time) springs into action grabbing Skrilla and hightailing it up the entryway. As the crowd looked on thinking the duo were heading to the back, CT ushers the champ down the streps and into his waiting car! As they sped off, Adamz, Patrick and every patron of the show had matching looks of astonishment as to what just unfolded. Patrick on the mic to address what happened. Nick announces that at the next show it will be the rematch: Jacob Johnson Vs Skrilla the Great for the Heavyweight Title! In a BARBED-WIRE STEEL CAGE!!! The crowd was going out of their minds at that statement, setting the stage for one of the most must-see match ups in a long time in the state of Georgia.
Takeaway: it is definitely Jacob Johnson’s time as his in-ring work is reached a new level that makes opposing Skrilla into top level athletic competition. Announced attendance was north of 600 (635 a new record) and looking around it would be hard to disprove it. Great show, amazing crowd, off the charts venue. Deep South is one of the hottest shows in town right now.
