In  part two, we look  at four legendary Mexican luchadoras, and all of them will be spotlighted for the first time, plus six young women wrestlers from Mexico are on the rise and to watch in 2025. 

La Mesitza

This talented, aggressive, and wonderful luchadora hails from Zapopan City, Jalisco State of Mexico, and is no stranger to the area's local Independent Lucha promotions. was married to legendary luchador, Espectro 2, Jr. and is the mother of current CMLL star: Difunto. La Mestiza has thirty years of experience fighting  any rival luchadora in the Central Western part of Mexico and has held multiple regional titles. 

 Paty Rey

Hailing from Ramon Arizpe City, Coahuila State, Mexico. was known as Vampiresa while wearing a mask since her beginnings in 1992, Patty Rey is very well known throughout the territory, with 33 years of Lucha experience throughout the region, Rey has proven time and time again, to be a dominating force to be reckoned with. being a part of the Lomelli Dynasty with her brothers, Chavo, The Green Demons, and her sister, Lady Star. as well as married to Kratos, with her children, Kratos, Jr and La Magnifica. Patty Rey is very proud to be a part of the lucha tradition. She held the Lucha Libre Femenil's Nuevo Leon Women's Championship (in Mexico, a regional title for women is more like their own version of WWE Raw brand's newly created Women's Intercontinental and WWE NXT North American Women's and WWE SmackDown's! Women's United States Championships). Still active in the area's local Indy Lucha circuit, Patty Rey still gives the rival luchadoras a run for their money. Be on the lookout for this beautiful, seasoned lucha veteran. 

Wendy 

Hailing from Reynosa, Tamaulipas State in Mexico, Ernestina Canizales Rios began her lucha career at 18 years old, Known as Wendy, also known as La Tejanita. This wonderful, passionate, hard-working, beautiful, gutsy, and feisty luchadora is still strong as she will be going on 37 years gracing every Lucha ring throughout the South of the Border. In AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide's early years, Wendy was a part of Las Rockeras, with Martha Villalobos and Panterita Surena. They were the inspiration for the current luchadora faction, Las Toxicas (La Hiedra, Lady Maravilla, and Lady Flammer.) Throughout her illustrious career, she has fought the likes of Mary and her sister, Fabi Apache, Keyra, Cassandra, Princesa Mitzy, etc. Since moving Stateside years ago, Wendy has made Houston, Texas her home. The sexy and tough legendary senorita also fought against some of the alumni students from  Booker T.'s Reality of Wrestling, Miranda Alize, and Rok-C (aka Roxanne Perez), Raychelle Rose, Danni Bee, Promise Braxton, and Gigi Del Rey, among others. Watch for the Reynosa spitfire in the Southeastern US shortly. 

 La Practicante 

This women wrestler from Mexico City has had a storied career for 36 years, Alejandra Zuka, La Practicante has been inside the Lucha business since her late teens in 1989. Practicante proves herself time, and again, No one not even her fellow luchadoras can beat her. Zuka fought the likes of The Moreno sisters (Cinthia, Rossy, Esther. and Alda.), Faby Apache, La Fuigitva, Xochitl and sister, Ayako Hamada (the founders of Hamada Dojo.), La Infernal, and so on. also participated in AAA, CMLL, IWRG, and of course, the now-defunct UWA Mexico in its final years in the Early 1990s.She even held the Federal District of Mexico Women's Championship. Even for her age, La Practicante still actively wrestles throughout her hometown's indy Lucha promotions.

Now, we spotlight six  Mexican luchadoras on the rise. 

Lady Shadow and Gema Andrade 

These young women on the rise come from one of the many Lucha family dynasties Mexico has to offer, When it comes to The Andrade family, the word lineage comes to mind. from the City of Gomez Palacios in the State of Durango and for many years throughout every Well-known and Independent Lucha promotion throughout the South of the Border, the Andrades like Neza's Moreno and San Luis Potosi's Mascara families have been held in high regard. Today, the Andrade's two young luchadoras, Lady Shadow and her cousin, Gema have given the Mexican Lucha Libre their best every single time. even make their female lunch rivals, Male luchadors, and male fans turn their heads with their high flying. high-spirited attitude at the same time both of them make their loyal following, and the Andrade family proud. It will be throughout this New Year,2025 and beyond, that both Andrade Girls (Lady Shadow and Gema) will win Women's Championships in both their homeland (Mexico) and on a Worldwide wrestling stage. As their cousin is is the former La Sombra (Andrade El Idolo) perhpas these lovely luchadoras have a chance to join WWE NXT.  

Valery Moreno 

Formerly known as Black Valery, Valery Moreno is following the footsteps of her late Grandparents, Acorazado Moreno and Esther Leon, Founders and promoters of Arena Azteca Budokan in the Neza District, Mexico. as well as being the daughter of the legendary luchador, El Oriental with her aunts, Alda, Cinthia, Esther, and Rossy Moreno including with close ties to the Wagner Dynasty, with uncles, Dr. Wagner, Jr. and the late WCW luchador, Silver King. and cousins, Hijo de Dr. Wagner and Galeno del Mal (both are Sons of Dr. Wagner, Jr. and Rossy Moreno) and Silver King, Jr.. Valery has a combination of beauty, mystery, the martial arts and lucha under her belt. This next generation young woman of the Moreno Dynasty has what it takes to be a Women's Champion, be it in singles or tag team. Last year, 2024 was her best breakout year, Let's see if 2025 will be the year of this young luchadora from the Neza District.

 Sakura and Princesa Aguila 

This dynamic and sexy luchadora tag-team is from the border of El Paso, Texas, and Juarez, Mexico. "La Joya de la Frontera" (The Jewel of the Border) Sakura and Princesa Aguila are very close like sisters. Between these two,  they have won many world, junior and women's regional single titles  and world tag team championships in for indy lucha promotion on both sides of the border. They have also faced the likes of Sadika, Keyra, Fabi Apache, Diosa Nix, India Sioux, Mary Corporal and alumni of Booker T.'s Reality of Wrestling  who were former ROW Diamond Women's World Champions: Athena (fka Ember Moon), Roxanne Perez, Miranda Alize, etc. A couple of years ago, Sakura made an appearance in Mucha Lucha Atlanta, and the fans were delighted. 2025 may see Sakura and Princesa Aguila tour  the US. Be on the lookout.

 "La Barbie Potosina" Siomara 

Being known as "La Barbie Potosina" (The Masked Barbie from her native San Luis Potosi, Mexico.) Siomara is another luchadora on the rise.. Don't be fooled by her beauty, this ass-kicking luchadora. Dream Girl Ellie, Raeven Marie, Sakura, Savannah Evans, and Dulce Alanis are among the many women wrestlers and luchadoras Siomara has defeated over the years in both America and Mexico. Along with her husband Cosmo Martinez, Siomara has  made Atlanta her home for over a decade, while remaining in high regard South of the Border. They perform regularly for Mucha Lucha Atlanta and have a reputation in promotions in Georgia, Tennessee, the Carolinas, Florida, and Texas.
