From Jeremy “The Impact” York:
With the weather cooling down, the action has only heated up at the Callaway Livestock Pavilion for the superstars of Premier All-Star Wrestling!
Ring Announcer/General Manager: Jason Boyd Officials: Butterbean, Stan Robinson, Al Berry
Match 1: Christian Pierce Vs. “Southern Outlaw” Sean Nelson—They lockup with Nelson getting backed into the corner. Pierce grins and shoves Sean. Sean shoves back sending Christian flying backwards. Nelson grabs a headlock, but Pierce counters into a wrist lock. Sean reverses into a version of his own yet Christian rolls, spins around and counters out of it. Nelson has had enough and dropkicks Pierce out of the ring. Once back inside, Pierce concentrates his efforts on Nelson’s leg with kick and twisted blows to ground the Southern Outlaw. Christian employs some great submissions on Sean including an upright Boston Crab and then a sit-down version in attempts to get his opponent to give up. We then get a surprise appearance from Christin Hilton who is out to watch part of this match after we last saw her observing the Alexander Lev and Ayden Andrews match on the last show. Neither Nelson nor Pierce seem to notice her, however the crowd did. Pierce throws Nelson into the corner then runs in for the leaping uppercut. Nelson stays alert though and finds his second wind, ultimately ending with his vintage spinning back suplex for a two count. Then it’s Christian who rebounds by dropping Sean in the corner before executing a brutal cannonball running attack on the Outlaw! He follows up with another Boston Crab, but Sean powers out of it. Once back to their feet Pierce goes for another flying attack, this time a crossbody but he’s caught by Nelson who tells him “good night” and drops him with an impressive spinning pendulum side slam for the victory!
Winner: “Southern Outlaw” Sean Nelson via pinfall
Match 2: Lamar Phillips (C-w/ Richard Page) Vs Ashton Martin—With the 6-Man Titles on the line per the stipulation set forth a month ago by GM Jason Boyd, this one starts with w tie-up and a clean break. Go behind by Ashton countered by Lamar who then leg trips his foe. They trade arm drags then Martin catches Phillips with a flatliner. Phillips with the smashing back elbow. Lamar unleashes a CHOP that freezes every fan in attendance and seems to slice through Martin! Then more chops from Lamar who then goes for a splash in the corner that misses. Ashton goes to the top rope, but he’s met by Phillips who brings him to the canvas with a devastating superplex! He covers Martin and gets the 1-2-3!
Winner: (And Still) Lamar Phillips (w/ Richard Page) via pinfall
Match 3: DeSilva (w/ Richard Page) Vs. Zander Whoric—The newest member of Greatness Inc DeSilva gets bum-rushed by Zander early with punches and kicks in the corner. Whoric continued his early attack until DaSilva throws him in the corner. He follows with a running uppercut and a front T-Bone suplex. Bow and arrow submission attempt on Zander but he fights out of it. DeSilva snatches Whoric up for a big slam and a two count. He goes for a spear to put Zander away from misses as Whoric moves out of the way! Zander battles back with stinging punches, yet DeSilva counters with a back T-Bone suplex to regain control. Zander rolls to the outside. Richard Page goes over to check on him and points his cane towards the ring so Zander knows which way to go. Instead Whoric accidently runs into the cane and falls to the floor. To better help him out, Page rolls him back into the ring. Back inside, DeSilva lifts Zander up in an Olympic slam and picks up the win!
After the match, Page is celebrating the win given that Zander can no longer get a piece of him. Familiar music hits and we see Simon Sermon who has a microphone and things to say! After he gets a hilarious chant going using a form of Page’s name (use your imagination), he gets Page to agree that later tonight Simon, Zander and a partner of their choosing will face Lethal Gainz (Lamar Phillips/Chris Gainz) and DeSilva for the 6-Man Tag Team Titles! Page finally agrees then Simon adds, I talked to GM Jason Boyd and when we win Zander still gets a piece of you!
Winner: DeSilva (w/ Richard Page) via pinfall
Match 4: Lethal Gainz (Lamar Phillips, Chris Gainz) & DeSilva (C—w/ Richard Page) Vs. Simon Sermon, Zander Whoric & Ashton Martin—This one opens with a melee of each pairing off with a counterpart to do battle. Lethal Gainz throws each of their opponents simultaneously towards each other in the middle of the ring only to have them reverse the throws and it’s Lethal Gainz smashing into one another! As things settle somewhat, the heels take control with fresh tags and heavy damage to Zander. After what seemed like 75 tags later, Chris Gainz executes a big powerslam after a few powerlifts of his foe’s body, but misses an elbow drop he announced was coming to the world before he did it. Whoric fights up and gets the tag to Sermon! Sermon is a house of fire as he tags Chris Gainz with stinging blows. He splashes him in the corner, then each partner and himself take turns tagging Gainz in the head. Simon gets a two count. Ashton Martin and DeSilva tag in. Huge shoulder block by DeSilva who tage Gainz. Chris with another big powerslam before he tags Phillips. He drops Martin in the corner then climbs to the second rope. He drops down onto the chest of Ashton with a thunderous knee that took the breath right out of the young superstar. Gainz back in and gets a two count. DeSilva and Whoric in the ring now. DeSilva tells Zander “I know you remember THIS” as he applies the Bow and Arrow. Impressive T-Bone suplex from DeSilva followed by some knife-edge chops. Unnoticed tag by the ref to Lamar reversed when the referee turns around and makes him get out. On his way out, he stands on Whoric as he exits to the apron and DeSilva comes back in. Big slam from DeSilva then he tags Gainz. He sets Whoric on the top rope and releases a massive set of chops on him. Phillips in for the superplex attempt that is blocked from Zander who sends Lamar reeling backwards. Avalanche dropkick from Whoric floors Phillips and Zander gets the hot tag to Ashton as Lamar tags DeSilva! Then all participants hit the dance floor for another melee! All the heels get dropped in a seated position in the corners as Sermon, Martin and Whoric each do the booty wag on them all! Lamar and Simon fight to one corner of the building while Gainz and Whoric fight to another, leaving Martin and DeSilva in the ring. They battle until Martin knocks DeSilva down then scrambles to the top rope. A sky-high frog splash for the 1-2-3 and we have new Ultimate 6-Man Tag Teams Champions!
After the match, Whoric reminds “Dick” (Richard) Page that he now will get a piece of him at the next show as Page shows his disgust while the new champions celebrate.
Winners: (And NEW Ultimate 6-Man Tag Teams Champions) Simon Sermon, Zander Whoric & Ashton Martin via pinfall
Match 5: Xander Seabolt Vs. Jesse Cruz—The debuting young superstar in Cruz against one of the more dangerous, methodical superstars in Premier All-Star Wrestling kicked off with a headlock from Xander who is backed into a corner by Cruz. Booming chops and punches by Seabolt. Crushing shoulder tackles on Cruz, after each Zander asking “why is he asking for it? He’s like a hundred pounds!” Jesse fights back up and gets Seabolt into the corner where he tries a running splash, but Zander moves out of the way. He counters with a spine-tingling backbreaker on Cruz. Clubbing blows to the chest of Cruz followed by a back suplex from Seabolt. He goes for his own corner splash, however Cruz dodges the attack, responding with some clotheslines and a big splash. A spinning back suplex accompanied by a Claymore kick and a crushing side slam gave Seabolt the victory.
Winner: Xander Seabolt via pinfall
Match 6—Main Event: Stevie Ray Frost, Mad Man Mayson Vs. Alexander Lev, AJ Black—Lev and Frost start off with a lockup as Frost pays tribute to the UFC with an eye poke on Lev. Lev with the amateur style takedown, Frost rolls away. Lev with the headlock, Frost backs him into the ropes before propelling him to the other side of the ring. Shoulder tackle from Lev. They go to a test of strength with Frost jumping the gun with a boot to the midsection of Lev. As they battle, Lev gets the upper-hand and tags Black. They send Frost into the ropes with Lev dropping down to trip Frost but he leaps up….into the flying attack of Black! Back on his feet Frost is tripped up by Black, then Lev adds in a low dropkick. Lev tags back in to deliver some slicing chops in the corner then a clothesline. He places his boot on the forehead of Frost and twists. Frost needs a break and tells Mayson to get in as he tags him. The Mad Man takes his times before entering the match. He charges at Lev, crushing him with big damaging strikes, then a big running back elbow. Frost wants back in so he tags. A handful of short-arm clotheslines has Lev slow to his feet, yet he fights back eventually grounding Frost in order to perform a crossface on the Premier All-Star champ. After that is broken up, Lev tags Black as Frost tags Mayson. Mayson smashes to the canvas then rubs his head across the mat. Frost back in to deliver a spinebuster then a running kick. Mason tags in for a running knee, chops then tags Frost. Deafening chop followed by a DDT for a two count. More chops by Frost, then he sends Black hard into the turnbuckle. Mayson tags for a neck crank and big boot on Black for a two count. Frost back in the match. Black finds a second wind with a codebreraker, but his tag to Lev falls short as Mayson drags Lev off the apron just before the tag can be made. Mayson and Frost fight outside the ring. Frost has a wood plank wrapped in barbed-wire as he grabs the microphone. He begs Black to pick up the plank and strike him with it. He turns his back to him so he can do so. Black slams the plank down in disgust. Frost laughs as he picks up the plank and smashes Black! Frost starts to meander to the back when Black grabs the microphone to tell him on November 29 th , it will be Frost versus Black in a barbed-wire steel cage match!
Winners: No Contest (no ending to the match)
Takeaways:
-Due to some unforeseen circumstances, this card got reshuffled from what the poster originally had. Yet, as they usually do, Premier put forth this lineup that lead to an incredible night of action and new stories to follow.
-Nelson and Pierce had a phenomenal match. The crowd wants to cheer Christian, however never will if he faces Nelson. Sean is the crowd favorite at Premier and time will only tell when he is next back in the title picture.
-Lamar Phillips is a modern Viking and the young Martin found that out the hard way. Ashton still had a good showing both times he faced Phillips tonight, but do no think Lamar will forget who gets in his way.
-DeSilva continues to impress every time he is in the ring. So athletic and has so many thunderous throws that make him a hard opponent every night.
-Whoric can more than hold his own with about anybody and the crowd really enjoys his triumphs almost as much as he does.
-The surprise “upset” win of Sermon, Whoric & Martin over Lethal Gainz and DeSilva was well done. Simon Sermon is a Nation treasure. Add in the up and coming Martin and the forever underdog king in Whoric and this could turn into quite a crazy run for the trio.
-Seabolt is underrated. He moves in the ring like someone half his size AND does not waste much motion. Everything has a purpose or he does not do it. On the other hand, the high energy and relentless efforts of Jesse Cruz should not go unnoticed either. With a big size disadvantage, he threw all he had at Xander. Even the crowd enjoyed his skills even in defeat.
-Lev and Frost are must-watch top talents anywhere they perform. Mason is building himself into a feared monster across the Southeast. Black is the wildcard that is already pretty solid, and continues to build upwards each performance. With the four pairing off for a Barbed-Wire Cage Match and Monster’s Ball Match for the next show, it could be quite a spectacle to behold.
Next Premier All-Star Wrestling show is November 29th in Carrollton at the Church Without Walls.
