From Larry Goodman:
PCW returned to action for their first show since Halloween at a brand new venue, Falcons Fury Harley-Davidson.
The event proved to be an unqualified success for PCW. The crowd was close to 150, more than they could even fit in their previous venue. The regulars turned out and they got a lot new eyeballs on the product.
The dealership is a fabulous setting for pro wrestling. The ring was set up in the middle of the showroom floor with seating area surrounded by shiny new Harleys. Nice lighting. Sound was adequate, not the best.
The show was smooth sailing other than technical issues that caused the event run longer than would have been ideal.
Skrilla The Great is the new number one contender for the PCW Championship. He defeated Najasism and Nathaniel Vanderbilt (close but no cigar for a nomination as for GWH's Most Improved Wrestler of 2025).
Gang warfare abounds at PCW. Vandelegation, The Syndicate, LHP, ENT all at each others throats with wanton disregard for human life.
This promotion has a lot of titles. Four of them were defended. None changed hands.
The show opened with a RAW-like 30 minute talk segment while technical kinks asociiated with the new set up got worked out. Hankins was the emcee, .Everybody and their brother was out there before it was over.
Stuckey talked about coming to PCW in Porterdale as a greener-than-grass rookie during Hankins' tenure as booker. Skrilla the Great complained about not getting his title shot. Nathaniel Vanderbilt was out there with his stupid Book of Destiny demanding respect.
Dealer's Choice Champion William Huckaby said he and Hankins went back a long way (all the way back to the Academy Theater when Huckaby first came into a PCW as a wrestler and Hankins and Darryl Hall were fans). Claimed he ran on caffeine, nicotine and hatred (no lies detected), wrestling was not for everybody. Real men paved the way for him to be a pro wrestler. Edward Draven said he was going to "beat the Huck" out of him. Huck said he got the name the stip and Draven would get 10 minutes.
PCW Champion Dominic Stuckey talked about coming to PCW in Porterdale as a greener-than-grass rookie during Hankins' tenure as booker.
Deposed champion Najasism whined about his rematch and got a "Hoochie Mama" chant for his troubles. Hankins indulged himself and gave the title shot to DMA and booked Naja, Skrilla and Vanderbilt number one contender's match.
(1) Dominic Stuckey defeated Duncan Mitchell Avecilla to retain the PCW Championship in 14:50. An OK match. They did a lot but it never felt like they got out of second gear. Stuckey's falcon arrow popped the crowd. DMA's flying knee connected, forcing Dom to grab the rope to stop the Grandpa's count. Stuckey finished strong with the Attitude Adjustment and butterfly cutter to retain.
(2) Jasmine Jones was the winner of a 13 person battle royal over Hawk Thomas, Trey Shaw, Najasism, Cuatro Cabezas, Kwame the Conqueror, Kassius King, Eddie Honcho, Haylo, Angel Del La Muerte, Zac King, C.T. Entertainment and Deon Summerz in 12:56. If the the objective was to get Jones over as a badass women capable of hanging with a ring full of men, that mission was thoroughly accomplished. Jones eliminated a lot of dudes. Entertainment laid down on the floor and never entered the ring until the competition was whittled down to Jones, Thomas and Shaw. CT took finisher upon finisher before being eliminated by Jones. Thomas was next. Shaw was the last to go.
(3) Hot Boy Kaizen defeated Jay Shaw to retain the CCDL King of the Party Championship in 8:08. Shaw is one of the most over babyfaces on the roster and received repeated chants of "Country Strong". They guys were working extra hard. Kaizen tried to bring a chair in. Referee Jesse Morales took the chair away. Kaizen grabbed a frying pan from under the ring. Shaw cut the frying pan off with pump kick. Morales got squashed in the corner. While Morales was down, Kaizen hit Shaw with the belt. Morales came to and made the three count. A rematch is a lock after this kind of screw job.
(5) Ehren Black & Lamar Diggs (representing Vandelegation) defeated ENT (Nate Mansions & JJ with Papa Jones) in 9:15. At the risk of repeating myself, JJ is on an entirely different level than he was at a couple of years ago. His father is now managing ENT. Black and Diggs anhilated JJ with Attempted Murder. Their finisher does look like broken neck city for the unfortunate individual that takes it. JJ looked a stretcher job candidate.
Black and Diggs threatened to give Papa the same treatment. He was begging for his life when Naja hit the ring and blasted Diggs in the back with a steel chair. Black laid out their associate, Kassius with Lights Out.
(4) Edward Draven defeated Dealer's Choice Champion William Huckaby via DQ in 8:20. No two ways about it, the PCW fans love Draven. He took a beating for sure but showed tremendous resiliency and was giving Huck a hell of a battle. Draven dropped Huck with a right hand. Huck had to grab the ropes to stop the ref's count. Kaizen hit the ring with a cutter on Draven for a blatant DQ.
(6) Skrilla The Great defeated Najasism and Nathaniel Vanderbilt to become the number one contender for the PCW Championship in 12:43. I was preoccupied with listenting to Hankins and Stuckey reminiscence and did not take notes. What I report with certainty is was an action-packed and well-executed triple threat. Diggs and Black came out intent on skullduggery to help Vanderbilt but ENT chased them to the back. Diggs came back out and got in to brawl with Naja. In the midst of the chaos, Skrilla pinned Vanderbilt with the Skrillride.
Diggs angrily refused Skrilla's offere to shake hands.
(7) The Syndicate ("Teflon" Jay Alpha Miller & Hakeem Young with Cuatro Cabezas & Matthew Daniel) defeated Left Hand Path (Austin Towers & Eric Silva) to retain the CCDL Tag Team Championship in 16:56.
Teflon exercised his First Amendement right and threatened to take over the place. The guy from the dealership wasn't having it. Hankins apologized for their behavior and bowed up on Syndicate.
Silva rode in to ringside on his motorcyle. The dealership people enjoyed this immensely as Silva used to work there.
This was first rate main event. Towers' use of facial expressions are now one of the strongest parts of his game. His chops got a huge reaction from the crowd and other wrestlers watching on. Syndicate isolated Silva and abused him. Hakeem's sheer aggressiveness makes him stand out along with his cardio. Cuatro and Daniel interfered. Allowing Reynolds to officiate one match and have him as a cheating heel in another seems like a strange way to do things even for PCW. Teflon's draping reverse DDT is nice add to his moveset. Silva's Hellplex led to the hot tag. The Syndicate's Jay Blaze came to ringside with a helmet. LHP's Trey Shaw ran up on Blaze and clubbed him in the head. Towers laid out Miller and Hakeem with his finishers. Hakeem was toast after Silva hit an assisted Collateral Damage on him but Cuatro pulled the ref out of the ring to stop the count. Shaw blasted Cuatro. Shaw is dangerous coming at people from the front but he's deadly when they're not looking. Teflon used the helmet on Silva and Hakeem scored the pinfall.
Postmatch, Syndicate squared off with LHP. Hakeem and Miller decided discretion was the better part of valor and took a powder, leaving Cuatro and Blaze to get their asses handed to them. LHP stood tall to close out the show.
