The show was everything ProSouth could have hoped for. Avery Styles made his ProSouth debut. It was 12 years ago that his father AJ Styles made his only ProSouth appearance to wrestle Jimmy Rave. 

The building was packed out with the largest crowd ever at the ProSouth Palace. The livestream is headed to the number one spot for most views of any ProSouth show in 2026 and is already #9 all-time.

ProSouth put their best foot forward for the viewers with one of their best produced ProSouth livestreams ever. The lighting, sound and camerawork were all top drawer. Even the replay function worked like a dream. It is not possible to overstate how much the crowd reactions added to the excitement level and feeling that this was indeed something special.

Styles and Ayden Andrews delivered the goods in the main event. But the undercard was much stronger than typical ProSouth fare and featured a Christian Pierce/Ashton Martin match that came close to stealing the show.

Wicked Nemesis and Mathias Darkthorne manned the commentation station. Cody Clonts, Lew and the returning Joseph Voide were the referees. Jeremy was the ringside videographer. 

(1) Oliver Green (with JACS) defeated Sean Nelson in 7:16. Congratulations to Christian Garrett. The match was switched to a singles due to the birth of a new son, Cooper. Green was full of piss and vinegar in the opening minutes. Until Nelson took out his leg that is. Nelson raked Green's back, choke the life out of him and beat that ass without mercy. Best spot of the match: Green tried for a handspring cutter and Nelson just clubbed him in the back of the skull. Green finally got a rally going but Nelson got out from under his swanton bomb. Nelson had Green mounted on his shoulders for a Catatonic and Green reversed it with a crucifix bomb. 

Nelson was  great in this role. He gave Green a lesson in old school brutality. A much better outing for Green, who is at his best as the gritty underdog he was here. Loved the finish.

(2) Raheem's Poo Butt Challenge: Jabari Jaku (with Raheem the African American Aristocrat) defeated LJ Borne & Brutus Dre in a handicap match (1:17). Raheem called for any poo butt in the locker room. Borne answered the challenge. Raheem laughed hysterically and told Borne he needed some help. Borne went to the back and got Dre.  Jaku beat the holy hell out of the two lilly white boys and pinned them with a double choke slam.

This was a great squash match, a throwback to Georgia Championship Wrestling at the TBS studio circa 1982.  Borne and Dre did the job superbly. Jaku's size stands out in ProSouth where height is at a premium. I love Raheem's get up. It's not often that African American royalty pays a visit to Piedmont.

Declassifed: The Real Jon Averson --President Lose Brantley had the masked Russian Demetri with him and said he was going to roll the video exposing Averson as a fraud. The crowd was all over him.

The video portrayed Averson walking through his community to let his neighbors know he was for the people. The word neighbor was blipped out as if Averson was saying the N word. 

Averson came out to rebut the charge. Averson said that word was not in his vocabulary. Brantley gave Averson a chance to redeem himself by answering a series of questions but he pulled the mic back before Averson could answer and called him incompetent. Demetri claimed he slept with Averson's mother last night. Brantley said "Don't get mad yet, I've got one more question for you...how do you feel about this beating?" Demetri forearmed Averson in the jaw.  Averson knocked Brantley down and pulled the mask off Demetri to reveal what everyone knew - Jasper Reid was under the mask. 

Brantley laid Averson out with an implant DDT and said on September 11, he was going to save this country from another tragedy by putting his presidency on the line in a Polls on a Pole match against Averson.

ProSouth has pushed perverse wrestling entertainment to the outer limits with this feud. Brantley's committment to the gimmick has made this absurdity work way better than it had a right to.  I can only imagine what viewers that tuned in to see Avery Styles thought about this segment. 

(3) Christian Pierce defeated "Forever Young" Ashton Martin via ref stoppage in 10:10. Martin frustrated Pierce with an uncanny ablity to stay one step ahead. Pierce threw Martin out of the ring and thrashed him but good. Back inside the ring, Martin outmaneuvered Pierce and hit the one-armed neckbreaker. Pierce caught Martin coming in with a powerbomb and finally had  Martin right where he wanted him to dish out punishment. Martin countered Pierce's rear naked choke with a flatliner for a two count. Pierce took Martin's head off with a clothesline. Pierce applied a cross armbreaker in the center of the ring. Legit looked like Martin had no way out so Pierce released the hold.  Martin's huracanrana sent Pierce tumbling to the floor. Pierce beat the 10 count. Martin ducked Pierce's clothesline and did an escalara backflip off the top rope into position for a pair of flying burrito forearms and a Stinger splash. Pierce tried for the Endgame (pedigree). Martin had that scouted and reversed into a blue thunder bomb for a close near fall. They jockeyed for position on the ropes. Martin knocked Pierce to the mat and flew with a frog splash but found no water in the pool. Pierce punt kicked Martin's head and went up top. Seeing Martin was unresponsive, Clonts called for the bell.

They incorporated interesting ideas in the layout of his match. I  loved the element of surprise in the finish. Pierce went to the top rope not realizing Martin was knocked out. The flatliner reversal spot looked phenomenal. Martin is talented. His persona is a derivative of Vanity Project's heel gimmick but it worked as a babyface with Pierce.

Pierce snapped into a psychopathic trance after the match. Martin got the same treatment as Balderas did last week -- A punt kick with his head inside a trash can and hung over the top rope with Pierce's bullrope for a noose. Martin was frothing at the mouth by the time ProSouth personnel pried Pierce off of him.

Battle Rumble entrants announced for September 18: Ace Haven, Caeden Ooten, Pierce, Andrews and Vanguard (Albey and Parker). 

(4) Donnie Primetime pinned Rolando Perez with a cutter at 11:16. Crowd chanted "oompa-loompa" at Perez. Our nearly award winning commentary team passed the time with an exchange of thoughts about legos and kids. Wicked reported the weather conditions -- 83 degrees and 73% humidity. 

Strange and not  in entertaining way, a real buzzkill because the show had been so good up until this point. I have no desire to write anything more about this match.

Harley Haven Gets Processed  -- Scott Adams and Caeden Ooten came to the ring to open the second half.  Adams introduced Ace Haven who was wearing a mask and remained silent. Adams admitted their effort to free Cameron Keast was a miserable failure. Now, Keast (TragiCK) and Harley were both harnessed by mind control collars. Harley and TragiCK came onstage with their collars glowing green. 

Harley flatly (and I do mean flatly) announced Ayden Andrews & TragiCK vs. Ace & Ooten for September 25. If Ace's team loses he must retire.

Ooten said he needed to talk to Harley. Her collar turned red. Harley approached ringside and threw a fireball in Adams' face. TragiCK's collar went red and he was threatening to fireball Harley as they disappeared through the curtain. Ooten splashed water in Adams' eyes as the announce team speculated about a cinged cornea and wondered about the status of Keast's plan.

Definitely a different Harley from anything ProSouth has seen before. I'm not sold on the story direction. We're talking dual mind control collars here. But with this creative department, it generally pays off to let them cook and see how things ultimately play out. Despite his serious health scare, I can't see Ace hanging it up in three weeks.

(5) Ayden Andrews (with Joe Wood) defeated Avery Styles in 12:49. Andrews intro got a mix of female screams and heat. Unending love for Avery. 

Wood said Avery's father wrestled at ProSouth 12 years ago and never came back. Avery could get his brains beat in by Andrews or he could trust the Process. Avery declined the offer.

Massive "Avery" chant at the opening bell. Wood interfered in the first 30 seconds. Senior official Joseph Void returned from a month-long sabbatical to eject Wood AND referee Cody Clonts. Void was now in charge.

They cautiously locked up. Andrews grabbed a side headlock. Styles shot Andrews into the ropes. Andrew knocked Styles down with a shoulder tackle. Andrews ran the ropes. Styles leapfrogged Andrews and dropkicked him right on the button. Andrews rolled to the outside clutching his mouth and was flawlessly positioned to cushion Styles' flip dive. Back inside, Styles executed a picture perfect Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Wicked said Styles was stuntin' like his daddy. Styles was looking for the Styles Clash. Andrews drove Styles into the corner with shoulder tackle and went to work on the youngster. Styles gamely fired back. Andrews kept the pressure on exhibiting raw aggression. Andrews chopped the soul out of him. Styles escaped a Ushigiroshi from Andrews but not the STO. Andrews got another two count with a modified DVD. Styles reversed Andrews' buckle bomb with a sunset bomb to spark a full-fledged rally. Styles rolled through on a 450 attempt ate a flying knee from Andrews. Both men got hung out to dry on simultaneous enzuigiris. Styles capped off a strike battle by dropping Andrews with a Pele kick. Styles went up top for the Spiral Tap. Harley ran in and shook the rope to upend Styles. Andrews immediately hit Nail In The Coffin and pinned Styles.

Cliche or not, this match did have an unmistakable big fight feel. Simple story - Styles refused to do what the Process wanted so they screwed him. Avery is phenomenal for the small number of matches he has under his belt.  Sure, the match was really good but the most important thing with Avery now under TNA contract was that he was in safe hands with Andrews.  

Harley joined Andrews in the ring. She was expressionless as Andrews raised her limp arm rather than her raising his.
