TWE Chattanooga "Drastic Measures" Report from March 18

From Sean Thompson:

This will not be a typical review as I am trying to move away from doing reviews in the traditional sense that everyone does. instead, I will give a quick result recap of the entire card followed by my overall thoughts. That said, let’s begin.

1. Adrian Akyel d. Ryan Vega for the TWE Pure Division Championship.

2. Black Diamond d. Donnie Uptown after interference from Steve Dave.

3. Mike Williams d. KING Bailey Blake to win back his job.

4. 13th Floor d. Brother Fusion

5. Chris Crunk d. Jayke Murphy & Jaden Newman to retain the TWE Championship.

The Brother Fusion vs. 13th floor match was nothing short of incredible tag team wrestling and showed why the 13th floor is one of the brightest up and coming tag teams in the south, yet also showcased why Brother Fusion is one of the most respected tag teams the Chattanooga area has ever seen.

Mike Williams and King Bailey Blake are two of the best in the area and it showed in their street fight. Bailey Blake continues to show why he is the future of Chattanooga wrestling each and every week by being one of the most entertaining guys on the card every time he steps in the ring. Along with his entertaining manager the ever hated Roger Cantrell, I see big things in this kids future.

Adrian Akyel and Ryan Vega are both extremely good at what they do and it showed in the opening bout as it did exactly what an opening match should do and hyped the crowd for the rest of the night.

Black Diamond and Donnie Uptown are two incredibly athletic high flyers who never fail to entertain a crowd and with Diamond’s newfound attitude the sky is the limit.

Chris Crunk, Jayke Murphy, and Jaden Newman are 3 incredibly gifted athletes, so it makes sense as to why this match was made. Crunk is one of the best well rounded and most entertaining guys in the area in the ring and on the mic, his promos are some of the best I’ve ever heard. Jayke Murphy is a great well rounded wrestler who combines high flying and technical wrestling into one awesome package. And Jaden Newman is consistently one of the most entertaining guys you will find anywhere in the South. This guy is so young yet his knowledge and eagerness to learn is unparalleled by anyone I have ever met.

This show took place in front of a standing room only crowd, and from top to bottom showcased exactly why TWE has for three years been a consistent for great wrestling in the Chattanooga area. Each match kept the crowd into the show and on their feet and did not disappoint. The talent is some of the very best you can find in Chattanooga and they prove it each and every week. If you have yet to check out one of their shows I urge you to come down and check them out for yourself at 4825 Dayton Blvd on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month. You will not be disappointed.
