Anarchy Wrestling News and Notes

From Larry Goodman:

Strange as it seems, Kyle Matthews' victory in the inaugural Landmark Heritage title match Saturday night was the first championship he had ever won at Landmark Arena and  only his third title match in the builidng.

Matthews' first title match was as one half of the the Hollywood Brunettes (along Andrew Alexader) losing an Anarchy tag team title bout to Phil Shatter & Kimo for on August 16, 2008.

In my book, Matthew's other title match in Cornelia (1/17/09) was the night he was made. It was a Young Lion's title match against Azrael, who beat the living hell out of him. Matthews gave as good as he got, which is really saying something when Azrael is the opponent. I think Matthews came out of the match with a concussion. I am certain he came out of the match with the respect of everyone in the locker room.

All of the Anarchy shows from Hardcore Hell foward are available on Powerbomb.tv. The monthly subscription if $10 after the free trial month.

Former Wildside wrestler Jacey North is editing the shows and was shot the backstage segments Saturday night. John Johnson is back as a regular part of the anounce team for the powerbomb.tv releases joining Dan Wilson.
