From Anarchy Wrestling:
It was a cold North Georgia fall night but the heat from 125 rabid Anarchy fans had the Landmark Arena hotter than July, and the action was the kindling. Anarchy is rocketing towards December to Remember on December 28th.
The night started with Sal Rinuaro interrupting the opening of the Anarchy Hype taping. He announced that Marcus Kross was on to much of a hot streak lately, so he was cashing in his Championship Challenge win and opting out of the Anarchy Heavyweight Title match. Instead Kross would have an opportunity against Stryknyn and the Anarchy Television Championship.
Dynamic Dexter defeated Tommy Pennirelli via DQ
Tommy Penirelli is a former 2-time Anarchy Television champion who has struggled for the last few years in Anarchy, thanks in part to erratic appearances. His struggles continued at our last Anarchy Hype taping when he lost in a 3-way elimination match. Dynamic Dexter also recently returned to Anarchy in a tag team win. Dexter started this contest out with his high energy antics which only served to anger the Italian-American Bad Boy. Penirelli took control but was unable to put Dexter away. During the match Fat T and two other well-dressed people made their way to the ring to observe the action. Dexter once again gained momentum and was about to hit a springboard maneuver when one of the ringside observers used an Italian flag to trip Dexter up. This brought about the disqualification. Fat T and the two mysterious associates entered the ring. Seeing he was out numbered Dexter slid out quickly to celebrate his victory. Penirelli then shook hands with the Fat T and the other two associates. Little is known about this mysterious man and woman, but it seems Penirelli has a new alliance.
Backstage we see Sal Rinauro trying to leave the Landmark Arena, only to be stopped by Bill Behrens. Sal thought his night was over until he learned that he may have been able to opt out of his title defense, but he did not read the entirety of the Championship Challenge. While you can opt out of a title defense and pass it on to a fellow champion, you were then obligated to take that champions place in their scheduled match for the evening. Sal was now placed in a six man match in the main event in the second hour of the Anarchy Hype taping.
GB1C (Tyler Rivera/Josh Wolverton) defeated Beauty and the Beast (Nate Wilde/Ethan Cage)
This match was a rematch of sorts from the last Anarchy Hype taping. At that match Rivera was forced to find a replacement against Beauty and the Beast due to travel issues with Josh Wolverton. This time there would be no travel issues, or would there? Rivera came out by himself causing a little bit of confusion. However, a short time after he arrived in the walk way to the ring, Wolverton appeared and all was right in the GB1C world. Nate Wilde and Ethan Cage came to fight and had the former Anarchy tag team champions on the ropes at times. Rivera and Wolverton would fight back and looked in rare form. At the end of the match it appeared Rivera was in control, when Wolverton blind tagged himself into the match, to the shock of Rivera. Wolverton would hit a sit out powerbomb on Wilde to gain the pinfall for his team. Rivera still looked a little confused but nonetheless celebrated his victory.
We saw a video from Matt Hankins addressing Crystal Rose. He was upset over the fact that Crystal took away his moment when she cut her own hair at the last Hype taping. He said that he was now going to unleash Brooklyn Creed and let her do things her way to Crystal. It was a very different and more intense Matt Hankins than we have seen in the past and it seems this war with Rose and Creed is coming to a head.
Marcus Kross defeated Stryknyn to win the Anarchy TV Title
Marcus Kross entered the evening thinking this would be his shot at the Anarchy Heavyweight Title but would be faced with an opportunity for the Anarchy TV Title. Stryknyn was none too happy with having to defend the TV Title against Kross. Stryknyn came out with the flaming hand, but instead of blowing the fireball, he just extinguished the fire out of view of the fans. The look of disdain from Stryknyn could not be disguised. He even looked at Kross and told him he did not belong there. Kross took the fight to Stryknyn from the opening bell, proving he did indeed belong in this situation. Stryknyn would fight back and dish out punishment to Kross. There were moments in the contest where Stryknyn seemed to have the victory only to lift Kross off the mat, breaking up the pin. This would prove costly has Stryknyn set Kross up for a spear, Kross was able to shift the momentum and turn the spear attempt into a small package for the win and the Television Championship. An angry and frustrated Stryknyn confronted Kross and got into his face. He said something to Kross and then just walked off. Griff Garrison came out to celebrate the victory with his Master and Machine partner.
To begin the second hour of tapings, Adrian Hawkins approached the ring. He talked about the Landmark Arena Heritage Championship and how he was going to make the championship mean something because of his legacy. Dynamic Dexter came out and challenged Hawkins for the championship. Hawkins dismissed Dexter and sent the youngster back to the locker room. Hawkins continued until he was interrupted by Jeremy Vain, who had been sitting ringside with his son Jayden taking in the action. Vain told Hawkins he was more than qualified to challenge for the Landmark Arena Heritage Championship and the crowd agreed. Hawkins accepted Vain’s challenge.
We got a mysterious video that was very eerie. There was a mysterious figure and a body bag.
Will Kaution defeated Matt Gilbert
Matt Gilbert is no stranger to the Landmark Arena, he is a former NCW Jr Heavyweight Champion. Will Kaution is a former 2-time Landmark Arena Heritage Champion. Gilbert started out quick against Kaution and used his palm strikes and lighting quick feet to rock Kaution. Kaution fought back hitting his Kaution Kutter for the win.
Scott Mayson defeated Ben Buchanan
Ben Buchanan entered this match fresh off the heels of the Alabama High School wrestling rankings announcement that has him as the number 1 wrestler in the state in his weight class. His high school is the number 2 ranked in the state in their division. However, none of that would matter in this match up with Scott Mayson. The young fired up Buchanan rocked Mayson early. Mayson used his experience advantage to gain the upper-hand on Buchanan. Buchanan fought back and was well on his way to victory when Mayson would pull referee Darrell Hall in between him and Buchanan. With Hall out, Mayson took Hall’s belt and used the buckle portion to knock out Buchanan and gain the victory. Mayson would then proceed to whip Buchanan with the strap. This would bring Bull out to the ring to chase off Mayson.
Geter/Cyrus the Destroyer/Griff Garrison defeated Sal Rinuaro/Adrian Hawkins/Will Huckaby
Rinauro, Hawkins, and Huckaby were hesitant to get into the ring with their larger than life adversaries. Hawkins would start off against Geter. Geter chopped Hawkins right out of the ring. Rinauro was very hesitant to get into the ring all during this match. Will Huckaby would enter the match and was punished for his efforts. Still Rinuaro refused to get into the ring in this match. This would frustrate Hawkins and Huckaby who were taking the brunt of the punishment. Eventually Rinauro would get tagged in by Hawkins. Griff Garrison was chomping at the bit to get his hands on Rinauro. Rinauro left the ring and was about to leave when Marcus Kross came out and forced him back to the ring. Rinuaro went to tag Hawkins in, but Hawkins jumped off the apron. Rinauro then turned to Huckaby, who jumped off the apron as well. Rinauro now found himself alone in the ring. When he turned around it was right into a Rack Bomb by Griff Garrison. Garrison, Geter, Cyrus & Kross celebrated the victory.
