ROH and PWG Champion Bandido will be coming to Puerto Rico for CWA' Batalla Pro El Oro (Battle for the Gold 2022) on March 27 at the 24 Market Place in Hato Rey to challenge current CWA World Champion "El Hombre del Legado" Manuel Rodriguez, who is fresh off a victory over Johnny Knockout. Bandido will defend his Ring of Honor World Championship against "Original" ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham in a Winner Take All match to determine the undisputed ROH World Champion at their Supercard of Honor event at the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas-Fort Worth on April 1. Also announced for Batalla Pro El Oro, "Los Reyes de la Montaña" Oly Jr and Tapia will defend the CWA World Tag Team Championships against Former WWC World Tag Team Champions La Revolución, as well as a 20 Participant Battle Royal to determine the winner who will have a championship match of his or her choosing.
Also on Sunday February 27, Combat Zone Wrestling's 23rd Anniversary Show takes place at Studio Z in Blackwood, New Jersey. Scheduled to appear are Mr.King, La Sangre (Nuyorican D'Ramos, "The Cuban Heist" Romeo Quevedo, and "The Cure" Vertigo Rivera) and more as the news broke that owners Robby Joe Medina (Pride of Wrestling) and José E. Mateo (IWA Florida) have formed an alliance. Unfortunately, IWA Florida World Tag Team Champions West Side Mafia ("El Cabro Sucio" Tabu and Morgan) won't be at the event due to schedule conflicts.
Georgia Championship Wrestling has two events coming up: Saturday February 26, "My Bloody Valentine" Advertised: Shawn Hunter defends the GCW Championship against Charley Anarchy, "The Rocker" Terry Lawler defends the GCW Brass Knuckles Championship, Tradition will face off against the 6:05 Crew. On Saturday March 26, "A Night for Ox", a fundraising event to help pay for Jimmie Oxendine's medical expenses. Wrestlers from Georgia and Alabama' promotions will appear.
