Viral Pro Wrestling presented Trick Or Trauma: DOOMSDAY on Saturday October 8th at the Sweetwater Gym in Thomson GA with an attendance of 250. The ring announcer for the evening is Jonathan Feltner. Ace Fickin and Dave Foster are on commentary.
Before the first match begins VPW Owner Joshua Hancock storms to the ring without any entrance music, stating that he had been informed that Jon Davis was in the building. He asked Davis where he was. Davis stands in the front row waving. Hancock reminds him that he's suspended and Davis states that he's simply there as a fan showing his paid wristband to watch the show. Hancock informs Davis that if he tries anything there will be repercussions.
-Alexavion vs Rob Killjoy vs Wade Adams- Triple Threat #1 Contenders Match for the VPW Outbreak Championship. Official- Chris Wiggins
Out first is Alexavion. The crowd cheers for the newcomer. Next is the returning, "Off Kilter" Rob Killjoy of The Ugly Ducklings. The crowd goes wild! Out finally is former Outbreak Champion Wade Adams dressed as Ghostface from Scream. Killjoy leads the crowd in quack chants. The match begins as the three circle the ring, and appear to talk strategy. Killjoy and Alexavion grab Adams and team up with a combo of forearms into a double hip-toss. Adams rolls out and Killjoy and Alexavion engage in a game of leapfrog. Alexavion lands a missile dropkick on Killjoy. Wade rolls in for a quick cover to no success. Alexavion jumps from the top kicking Adams in the mouth. Killjoy goes for a moonsault but misses, landing on his feet. Killjoy hits a back suplex on Alexavion. Killjoy whips Adams over the top to the outside. Killjoy chops Alexavion repeatedly as the crowd reacts. Both men trade blows. Alexavion lands a back-handed fist followed by a pelee' kick into a crossbody. Wiggins counts as both men are down. As he counts, TWO Ghostfaces appear on both sides of the ring, pointing at each other in a very Doink-esque fashion! Alexavion hits a shooting star press onto the outside to Wade and Killjoy. He rolls Killjoy in for the cover, but Adams breaks it. Killjoy hits a corkscrew clothesline to seemingly win the match. However, the second Ghostface emerges revealing to be Adams as he rolls up Killjoy for the win! Winner and #1 Contender for the VPW Outbreak Championship- Wade Adams Time: 9:38
-Kelsey Raegan vs "Dream Girl" Ellie. Official- Jarrod Fritz.
Your next contest is women's action. Out first is the debuting Raegan to boos from the crowd followed by fan-favorite Ellie. She replaced Reka Tehaka who wasn't impressed with her competition. The match begins as both women stare off. Raegan attempts to shake hands but Ellie licks her hand. The two then lock-up into a corner, Fritz breaks the hold. Raegan places Ellie in a head-lock as she reverses with forearm strikes. Ellie goes for a dive but Raegan counters into a DDT into the ropes to the outside. The two re-enter as Raegan stomps away and wrenches the arms of Ellie. She chops Ellie into the corner, Ellie fires back! Raegan reverses and hits a running kick to Ellie into the corner. Raegan places Ellie in a sleeper hold. Ellie counters. Raegan tells Ellie to smile as she drags her across the ring. She places Ellie in a surfboard stretch but modifies into a choke-hold then a cover. Ellie kicks out. Raegan stands over Ellie again for the cover, Ellie kicks out once more. The crowd is behind Ellie! Raegan goes up for a moonsault but misses,hitting the mat! Ellie hits a ripcord knee into a chop, followed by a dropkick. Ellie's seeming to have snapped as she appears more aggressive. She sets up for a running knee but misses and Raegan scores the cover with her feet on the ropes for the win. Winner: Kelsey Raegan Time- 9:48.
Ellie stares into the eyes of Raegan as she exits.
-Level X vs All Star Special- #1 Contenders Match for the VPW Tag Team Championships. Official- Chris Wiggins.
Out first is Level X (Blanco Loco and the returning Axton Ray). Level X debuting new theme music as the crowd screams. Out next is All Star Special (Hold My Beer Hanson and William Huckaby) with a new war-themed entrance with full machine gun get-up to War by Black Stone Cherry. The crowd goes crazy! The crowd claps as the match begins. Huckaby and Axton begin with a test of strength. Huckaby transitions into a head-lock, Axton pushes him off but he blocks with a shoulder tackle. Axton runs at Huckaby who hits a hurricanrana on Axton! The two run the ropes trading arm drags until the two stop to catch their breathe. Axton states that he's gained weight and can't do it and tags in Blanco. Huckaby tags in Hanson. Blanco and Hanson exchange heated words. Hanson slings Loco into the corner and tags in Huckaby. Huckaby chops Loco, Loco reverses tagging in Axton as the two wrench the arm for a double ax-handle. Huckaby tags Hanson and Axton tags Loco. Loco hits a dropkick on Hanson into a head-lock. The crowd applauds. A.S.S. whip Loco off the ropes and Huckaby knocks Axton off the apron as Huckaby hits a splash. The crowd chants for Level X as Hanson hits a bronco buster on Loco. He tags in Huckaby for a cover to no success. Loco and Huckaby trade strikes in the ring. Huckaby slings Loco into the ropes but Blanco counters with a ripcord punch. Both men go down, and crawl to the tag. Axton comes in hot, taking out Hanson. Axton places Hanson on his shoulders in a torture rack position, as Loco lands a stomp from the top into an attitude adjustment combo for the win. Winners and new #1 contenders for the VPW Tag Team Championships- Level X Time- 9:25.
Hanson needed help from Huck getting to the dressing room after landing on his neck taking Level X's finisher.
- Reyhan Inteus vs James Johnson- Last Man Standing Match- Official- Jarrod Fritz.
Out first is Reyhan Inteus, sporting his mask of his former persona "Montana Black" the monster, possibly signaling a different side in this match. Out next is "Tie Dye Sunrise" James Johnson, carrying a trashcan full of weapons. Johnson wastes no time, hitting Inteus with the trashcan repeatedly. Johnson then strikes Inteus with a kendo stick, laying in multiple shots. Inteus cuts Johnson off with a chop, followed by a chop to the back into the corner. Inteus punches Johnson in the face, and proceeds to grab a golf club, hitting Johnson in the back, followed by a trashcan. Inteus rolls out and grabs a stop sign nailing Johnson across the head. Inteus then hits a black hole slam, as official Fritz begins the count. Only 6. Inteus then hits Johnson with the APW Chester Heavyweight title which he currently holds. Johnson is down, but gets up at 8. Johnson flips off Inteus as the crowd responds. Inteus hits a dropkick on Johnson. He then grabs a chain and swings but Johnson counters by striking with a kendo stick, demanding that Inteus look at him. Johnson lays in repeated shots attempting to take out Inteus. Inteus shouts for Johnson to come on! Johnson responds by kicking Inteus in the family jewels! Inteus yells to hit him again, and Johnson repeats twice more. Johnson then grabs the chain, clobbing Inteus, and he is down to a count of 6. Johnson attempts to lift Inteus in the corner but collapses on the injured knee. Inteus takes advantage, beating Johnson's knee with the golf club. Johnson is down but fights the count at 7, but Inteus takes him down again. He places Johnson in a leg-stretch, wrenching as Johnson screams in pain! Inteus wraps a chain around Johnson's leg, wrapping him in the ropes for the stretch again. Johnson is wailing! Johnson collapses to the mat and Official Fritz counts to 10 as Inteus is declared the winner. Winner- Reyhan Inteus Time- 10:01.
Inteus continues to choke out Johnson with the chain as his daughter Selina Rose runs out to cover her dad. Inteus puts the VPW locker room on notice and exits, as officials Fritz, Wiggins and Selina Rose attend to Johnson in the ring.
-Owen Knight vs Billy Brash- Official- Chris Wiggins.
Out first is Billy Brash who returned at Infection VI. The crowd goes nuts! He is followed by fan-favorite Owen Knight. The crowd claps along to his War Ready Anthem as he makes his way to the ring. The match begins as Billy attempts to shake Owen's hand. Owen shakes it off and the two lock-up. Brash whips Owen into the corner, asking if he wants to do it the easy way or the hard way. Hard way. Owen and Brash trade blows in the ring. Brash lands a clothesline on Owen. He recovers and whips Brash into the corner. Brash does a handstand on the top post. Brash places Owen in a head-lock but Owen reverses, chopping the chest of Brash. Owen whips Brash into the corner who attempts a handstand again but is cut-off by Knight. Knight then lands a suicide dive to the outside onto Brash! The two re-enter. Knight clubs the back of Brash and whips him off into a kick to the midsection. Billy attempts to fight back. Knight whips Brash into the ropes with a splash into his back. Owen places Brash in position for the TKO, but is countered. Brash lands a back-elbow into a discus-clothesline for a count of two. Brash goes for a dropkick but misses as Owen lands a back-suplex. He goes for the pin but only gets two. Knight again sets up for the TKO, but Brash reverses and lands a cutter off the ropes! Brash goes for the cover but Knight kicks out. Owen clings to the leg of Brash as he clubs Knight. Knight powers Brash up to hit the TKO but Brash rolls out. Knight brings him back in as the two trade blows. The bell rings as the time expires and the match is declared a draw. Result- Time Limit Draw. Time- 10:00.
The crowd chants 5 more minutes. Brash attempts to shake Knight's hand as Knight passes and walks to the back. Brash thanks the crowd and exits.
-The e.N.d. (Zuka King & T.J. Boss) vs "The Monster" Cutshall and Salem Sinner Sixx. Official- Jarrod Fritz.
Out first is The e.N.d. The crowd screams. The e.N.d. have been on a winning streak in VPW. Out next first is "The Monster" Cutshall, who is on a warpath to stop the e.N.d. who laid him out with a conchairto at the last two shows. The lights go out as fire appears on the video screens. Druids march our as fog fills the arena. Cutshall's partner is revealed to be the returning Salem Sinner Sixx! The crowd pops HUGE for Sixx, who is a staple of VPW and was the first VPW Heavyweight Champion. Sixx reunites with his former Monster Squad member Cutshall to do battle with the e.N.d. The match begins as Sixx manhandles Zuka King. Zuka cowers in fear as Sixx backs him into a corner. King knees Sixx in the midsection, whipping him into the ropes. Sixx isn't phased and counters with a huge power slam! Sixx tags in Cutshall. Cutshall is a loose cannon attacking Zuka! He whips Zuka into a running backfist followed by a head-lock. Zuka counters, but Cutshall screams in his face. Zuka cowers again in terror. Cutshall tags in Sixx who rakes the face of King, as he wails in agony! Boss clubs Sixx in the back who turns around and knocks Boss to the floor. Sixx tags in Cutshall. Cutshall is thrown to the outside as Boss hits him with a chair. The official doesn't see it. Boss rolls Cutshall back in the ring and tags himself in. Sixx attempts to intervene but official Fritz blocks. Boss pesters Cutshall and tags in King. Zuka lands a running knee drop and knees Cutshall in the back. He tags in Boss. Boss chops Cutshall, who snaps and counters with a MASSIVE sit-out powerbomb! Both men crawl to the tag. Sixx comes in HOT, clotheslining Boss and King! He grabs Zuka and sets up for a chokeslam but is cut-off. Sixx tags in Cutshall. King attempts a chair shot but backfires, hitting himself with the chair as it bounces off the ropes. Sixx lands a sit-out powerbomb and Cutshall covers for the win! Winners- "The Monster" Cutshall & Salem Sinner Sixx. Time: 10:40.
The two proceed to hit Boss with a double conchairto as payback for the previous actions of the e.N.d. The e.N.d. stumble to stand like they don't know what hit them and exit. (Teaser video plays for the next event: Winter War on December 10th).
- MAIN EVENT-Gustavo Aguilar vs Sean Legacy- VPW Heavyweight Championship. Official- Chris Wiggins.
Out first is Gustavo to Eddie Guerrero's theme and entrance video to a HUGE POP from the crowd! Gustavo is also billed as Gustavo Aguilar "Guerrero". Next is VPW Champion Sean Legacy. His video plays and the lights go out. The video glitches and goes black. In a moment of suspense, the theme music from Peacemaker plays as Legacy makes his way to the ring in full get-up, dance and all! The crowd goes INSANE AND ERUPTS! Legacy is accompanied by "Eagly" and a butterfly, if you've seen the series then you know. Aguilar hands Sean a rose telling him to give it to a member of the audience. Sean circles the ring searching, and hands it to Jon Davis who is sitting in the front row. Davis stares off with Legacy and hesitates but takes the rose. The match begins as the two circle the ring, crowd screaming both men's names. Sean taunts Gustavo with the Peacemaker hip-roll. Gustavo locks-up and does with Eddie shimmy. Davis shouts Legacy sucks. The two lock-up and chain in the ring into hip-tosses and roll-ups. The crowd applauds. The two re-enter and shake hands. Sean doesn't let go. The two lock-up again and back into the corner. Gustavo whips Sean into a boot, into a dropkick followed by a cover of 2. The crowd applauds. Gustavo sets up for the 3 amigos but is cut-off by Legacy. Gustavo jumps on Sean's back into a sleeper. Sean reverses. The two trade blows and palm-strikes. Legacy sets Gustavo up on the top attempting a super-plex, but Gustavo counters. He dives from the top but Legacy dodges. Gustavo whips Legacy into a hurricanrana. Sean grabs Gustavo and sets him up for the F5 but he counters into a guillotine choke. Sean escapes and goes for the cover to no success. The two exit the ring and re-enter. Sean goes to the top and misses a 450, Gustavo takes advantage and counters with sliced bread! The crowd is loving every minute of this match! The two battle it out in the center of the ring. Sean takes a kick to the midsection, but grabs Gustavo and throws him out. Legacy lands a suicide dive to the outside into the barricade, knocking Jon Davis to the floor. The crowd responds, as Legacy realizes what he did. This isn't good… The two re-enter as Sean attempts the cutter but Gustavo counters into the 3 amigos and gets it all! Gustavo goes to the top for the frog splash but Sean puts the knees up. Davis hops over the guardrail and enters the ring. Gustavo and Legacy attempt to team up but Davis clotheslines them both and begins pounding on Legacy. Result of the Match- No Contest. Time: 19:34.
Owen Knight runs out for the save and sends Davis to the outside. VPW Owner Joshua Hancock comes out with local law enforcement, demanding the officers to place Jon Davis under arrest! The officers place Davis in cuffs as Joshua Hancock states that he told Davis that if he tried anything that there would be repercussions, and states that he will never work for Viral Pro Wrestling again and he's fired! The crowd EXPLODES, as cops eject Davis from the building.
Knight grabs the mic asking Legacy if he is ok. Gustavo re-enters the ring. Owen states that Sean owes him one and asks in December if he can face Legacy for the title. The crowd chants one more time! Gustavo hands Legacy the title and states after Owen gets his shot, he wants his and exits. Owen asks Legacy for an answer to which he accepts. At Winter War on December 10th it will be Owen Knight vs Sean Legacy for the VPW Heavyweight Championship! Sean raises the title as he's played out.
