Action Building, Canton, GA
Back in the Action building for the first time in a long time, a very fortunate set of circumstances that allowed me to drive 694 miles from the Florida homestead to Canton, and man, I’m so glad I was able to be here for this stacked card tonight.
DJ’s Ton-Nek and Turn-Up handling the pre-show tunes, Brandon Benefield, Gerard Bonner, Diana Michel are running the commentary and announcer duties. Referees are David Weakley, Paul Santa, and Jeremie Prater.

It was posted a couple of hours before the show that Gunner Miller was attacked by a group of people and thus is scratched from the card. He was Chip Day’s pick to face Hunter James.
1: Pick your poison match with a 30 min time limit: Adam Priest vs. Chip Day.
Priest is Hunter James’ pick to face JTS champ Chip Day. New music (for me anyway) for Day. Anticipating a hard hitting, technical match, with the crowd firmly behind Day. The initial tie up leads both men out of the ring and Priest really pissed Day off on that. Heavy hands are flying early, with Priest getting in some kidney shots. Action out on the floor, Priest really laying the shots in. Priest goes for a super plea, Day dumps him off and ACTION CEO and Canton Hater, Matt Griffin comes out and throws Day off the turnbuckle while the Ref was checking on Priest. Priest doing more damage on the railings.
Day getting stretched out in the ring with Griffin cheering Priest on and sneaking in cheap shots. A Chip FN Day breaks out, Day fires up and plants Priest and they start trading shots. Massive lariat by Day. Griffin tries to distract Day, but Day lands the missile dropkick for a near fall. Griffin grabs the leg of Day, Day shoves him off and into the rails, Priest gets a 2-count on a roll up. Airplane spin into an enziguri by Day, and Griffin puts Priest’s leg on the rope to break it up, Kyle Matthews runs out and chases Griffin to the back.
Griffin in the ring with a mic saying that the crowd just watched a miscarriage of justice. Griffin runs down the crowd and tells Kyle to not go anywhere. Griffin says that Krule isn’t here tonight and is in Boston and there’s a new monster and that is The Wall and Kyle will face him right now.
2: Kyle Matthews with Day vs. The Wall Tyler Stephens with Griffin and Priest.
Stephens manhandling Kyle in the early minutes, preventing Kyle from using his quickness. Showboating a bit, leading to a sleeper by Kyle. Stephen’s reverses it and tosses Kyle over his head. Kyle gets a couple of shots in and lands a drop kick for a near fall. Kyle fighting off a couple of choke slam attempts. Hunter James runs out and slams Day into the ring post. Kyle dives through the ropes onto him. Stephens takes advantage and plants Kyle for the win at 5:11. Team ACTION strut to the back leaving James and Triston ringside.
James grabs the mic from Diana and address the fact that Miller isn’t here and calls him the people’s bitch and demands new opponent for his Pick You Poison match.
3: Hollywood Hunter James with "The Guiding light" Triston Michaels vs. Outlandish Zicky Dice. 30 minute time limit
Good pop for Dice, who comes to the ring with a title belt and the crowd chanting Zicky. It’s been a hot minute since Zicky’s been in an SHW ring. A cheer off happens and you know who wins that, and James bails to the floor. The bell finally rings and Zicky immediately takes it to James , getting a 10 punches of doom and clotheslines James out of the ring. Triston grabs the leg of Zicky, leading to James attacking and Triston slapping Zicky’s face and choking him.
Comeback gets cut off due to Triston’s distraction, but Dice gets back on track and gets a near fall after a corner cannon ball. Power slam by James for a near fall. Triston with more distractions and gets Dice to chase him, allowing James to go through the ropes, onto Dice. Airplane spin by Dice on the floor and throws James back in the ring. Triston tosses powder into Dice’s face while the ref was checking on James and Dice gets counted out at 8:25.
James has a hip swivel for me. Thanks, I appreciate it.

4: The Washington Bullets (Jon and Trey Williams) vs. The Buff and Fluff connection Sean Legacy and Cody Fluffman.
Big pop for BF. Lev comes out to join the commentary team. Lev cuts a promo, saying that SHW has been screwing him over, but he won’t screw over Legacy, because “I am faithful”. The match starts and Legacy is tying up Jon and Jon has to tag out. Trey wants Fluff and he gets tagged in. Trey tries to slam him, but that’s a no go and Fluff falls on him for a near fall. Legacy tags in and throws Trey’s head in the posterior of Fluff for a crowd pop. Pin attempt gets broken up by Jon. Steamroller on Trey for some pin attempts. A super kick from Trey starts the heat on Fluff. Hot tag to Legacy, and he goes off on the brothers, ending in a cutter from the corner for a near fall on Jon. Match starts breaking down with everyone hitting big shots. Near fall on Fluff on a bullets double team. BF double team on Trey for the win at 10:26. Legacy got major air on that combo. They stare at Lev as he leaves to the back.
5: 2 on 1 Handicap match: SupaStarz (Tommy Mars and Nikki Eight) vs. Chosen
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen SupaStarz somewhere, will have to think about it. Chosen is one big man, his muscles have muscles. SS try to do some shenanigans, but uh-uh. One of the SS lures Chosen out of the ring, but he gets thrown back in. The other tries to leap from the turnbuckle and the landing was a bit awkward, Chosen picks him back up and lawn darts him into the post. Down hill from there for the Stars and they get double pinned at 2:58. Could have been about 2 minutes shorter.
6: 6-man tag match: The Endgame (CT Keys, Anarchy Champ Nick Halen, SHW Champ Judais, with Todd Sexton) vs. The Hierarchy (Murder One, Joe Black, and Kenway).
Joe and Judais start off but Judais tags in CT and they trade off on shots to the head and neck, knocking each other back to their respective corners. Halen tags in and the Hierarchy takes over for a minute. Kenway in and things start breaking down with bodies getting thrown from the ring. Todd ends up in the ring surrounded by Hierarchy, but Endgame make the save.and Judais choke slams Kenway for a near fall.
Heat on Kenway, loads of double team shenanigans and frequent tags. Kenway fighting out of the corner and colliding with Halen and makes the tag to MO, who plants Halen but the pin gets broken up by CT. MO plants CT, Todd runs interference and Judais dumps MO out Joe and Judais face off and Joe clotheslines him out of the ring. Pin attempt on Halen gets token up. CT plants Kenway and heads up top but Joe meets him up the and tosses him, Judais wants to Choke slam Joe, but MO delivers a cutter and them Joe spears Halen for the win at 12:24. Judais tries to hit Joe with a chain, Joe spears him. Joe has the mic and brings up his history with dog collar matches: one from 2015, and the match with Huck at SHW, and challenges Judais for the SHW title in a dog collar match and the crowd eats it up and throws up two-fingered salutes while the Hierarchy parade around the ring.

Main event: Tag Team Death match: Happy Madness (Sal Rinauro and Sunny Daze) vs. The Coven of the Goat (Nathan Mowery and Tank, with The Rev).
HM bring some undocumented objects to the ring area: road signs, canes, light tubes, oh my! Rev with his patented intro. David Weakley is prepared with work gloves already on. Everyone has something in hand, not sure if there will be any tags or just straight up brutality.
Looks like the answer is brutality. A bit of comedy with Rev screaming in Sal’s face. Action out on the floor with all 4 men. No way to get everything in the description, I’m not a kitchen sink, damn it!
Looks like Tank’s bleeding first. A couple of beer bottle get busted over Sal’s head, he’s busted open. A Chucky doll gets introduced to Sunny’s privates. Daze is opened up. Nathan is, weirdly, the last to get opened up, thanks to Sunny hitting him with a 2x4 with a gusset plate on it. Sunny has a barb wire ball wrapped around his head and headbutts Tank with it.
Table set up n the stage. Might be set on fire. Sal sets in up and lights it up. Sunny throws Nathan down through the table.
Nathan and Sunny face off and a very bloody Sunny offers his hand and they shake to end the feud.
Loved everything about this show, except for the handicap match. That could have just been a minute and made the point in that time.

Plus, it continues a background feud between EY and BB, GB, and Diana.
Judais and Black in a dog collar match? For the title?? To appropriate a Jabari phrase: "Bast Dammit!" Not sure of when that happens, but I'll be looking out for it.
Corey Tatum should be getting hugs from everyone for the work he has done in wrestling photography, both action shots and promo shots. Chef's kiss!
I wonder if Matt really hates Canton?

Lev has become the second most punchable face in Georgia right now, trailing Hunter James, but he's getting there.
I miss everyone and was so glad I could come up for this.
