Its time for PCW’s premier event, their biggest show of the year in their NEW facility with NEW media? It really has been a landmark year for these guys, TONS of growth from their prior incarnation. All the feuds this promotion has been featuring are about to come to a violent conclusion in front of my eyes on IWTV? Let’s roll!
We begin at the tail end of the press conference prior to the event and some bad blood is evident between ERC and DJ Smoke. They’ve started fighting already?
DJ Smoke vs ERC (Pre-show Street Fight)
Matt Hankins tells the fans that the show is officially underway and Smoke and ERC start battling outside in the parking lot! Nice! There are cars driving by as they battle LOL I can’t imagine the sight for those folks. ERC smashes Smoke into the brick wall of the bar next door but then ERC misses a charge and Smoke takes over. They are going INTO the bar LOL!
ERC throws Smoke onto the pool table then starts attacking him with a pool cue but Smoke fights back and throws him into the bar! I just went and looked up the name of this place…’The Outpost’. Cool little dive bar with character that is obviously aware of the hype train that is PCW living next door. The battle continues back outside and back to the arena but not before Smoke gets thrown into a fence and blue pickup. Poor Smoke. ERC is choking him out now, and it’s a wonder the Rockdale Sheriff hasn’t come out of their office across the street lol.
Chair shots from ERC back inside but Smoke grabs a lightbulb or something and smashes ERC with it. Now they are in the ring and our referee calls for the bell for this match to get underway officially! Chair shots from Smoke and he’s throttling ERC with it. Smoke misses a swinging shot and ERC hits him and both guys down now. ERC tries cutter but Smoke reverses into jumping knee lift and hits a big splash and applies a crossface in the middle of the ring.
ERC doesn’t quit so Smoke goes for another splash but misses and ERC hits a Canadian Destroyer! ERC picks Smoke back up and dumps him on his head and both guys are out while Squeaky counts. ERC back up first and hits a FU! Fans chanting for ERC as the ref hits his ten count and ERC wins by KO! FUN opener with that action going next door.
Opening theme for the official opening of the show and I REPEAT this original introduction by ‘Wrecka’ is absolutely excellent, particularly on the spectrum of independent pro wrestling. The building looks quite full, a very nice house for this big show.
Platinum Battle Royal (Winner gets PCW Heavyweight Championship match at time of their choosing)
The first two competitors are Nate Mansions and Dominic Stuckey and they go at it right away. Stuckey tries to dump him but Mansions fights it off. Commentary begins and its Jeff Jobbs and Matt Hankins calling the action. Both guys fight on the apron but neither gets the advantage and here come our next additions. Chad Skywalker and Hakeem Young arrive and enter the ring and Young takes charge. Dre the Goat enters the ring now and starts dancing. Young tries to take him down but Dre shows his moves and hits drops Young into his knees. He tries a bulldog on Young but Hakeem stops it mid stream and slams him. Nice!
Countdown to our next entrants and Hotboy and Jay Blaze come out to the ring but Hotboy gets attacked by a masked man. Keelin Cole enters and starts throwing cutters all around the ring. Hakeem attacks him though and reasserts control of the ring. Skywalker doesn’t let that last and challenges him as the action gets busy in there. The masked man starts slamming everybody and we have another countdown as D’Angelo, Zero, and ChaynMale come into the match! You gotta love ChaynMale…that guy is a multi-dimensional champion, a bonefide pop star, and lethal drummer! Hakeem Young gets eliminated and right behind him goes Hotboy.
Chaynemail hits a slam but he can’t hold the ring against Zero who then gets attacked by Skywalker its there is too much going on to properly call lol. Another countdown and here comes Grayson Pierce, Jay Shaw, and Dezmon Chastain are joining the party. If anyone has a shot at wading their way through this battle to win, ‘Country Strong Style’ Jaw Shaw might be able to do it and as I type that Shaw starts delivering spinebusters across the ring! Another countdown and Jazmine and RC enter he match as Nate Mansions gets eliminated. Jazmine is cleaning house and controls the middle of the ring. Jay Shaw isn’t impressed and takes her out with a boot.
LOTS of bodies in there now and the fans are chanting for Jay Shaw. Jazmine gets eliminated and the music hits for Kassius King to join the match. This match is always cool to see so many faces from so many places in the state. Dominic Stuckey eliminates his buddy Dezmon but they acknowledge there can be only one. More eliminations and the ring is starting to clear out some but here comes another countdown and Archer and Brother Azriel enter the match! That just added a few pounds to the match lol. Everyone gangs up on Azriel but he is able to fight them off. Big boot from Shaw sends him down and now five guys try to dump him to no avail.
Music hits for another entrant and its Matt Hankins! Hankins leaves commentary and gets in while running his mouth on the mic, that can’t bode well for him lol. He calls out Jay Shaw? Uh oh Hankins. Shaw decks him across the chin and that does it for Hankins. Ha. Archer gets eliminated. More eliminations and there goes Jay Shaw eliminated by Skywalker. We are down to five wrestlers left and they start a Pier 6 brawl. Big piledriver from King but he gets eliminated!
FINAL FOUR – Grayson Pierce, Dominic Stuckey, Chad Skywalker, Keelin Cole
Stuckey and Skywalker form a team and they start battling Cole and Pierce. A crazy sequence sees Stuckey eliminate Pierce and Skywalker eliminate Cole and now we are down to the final two Skywalker and Stuckey with a shot at the title on the line! The fans are ready for this finish! It’s a hot night in Conyers!!! They show respect and shake hands before battling and right away they go towards the apron but Skywalker isn’t fooled.
Stuckey hits a FU on Skywalker and he’s powering himself to his feet. Definite full house in that building as Skywalker reverses Stuckey and hits a huge move and a BIG moonsault on Stuckey! He tries to cover him and then realizes his mistake and tries to dump him but Stuckey reverses and both guys are battling on the apron! Its so close! Stuckey anticipates a delayed kick from Skywalker and swings him off the apron to the floor! Stuckey wins! He has a shot for the title whenever he wants!
NICE opening Battle Royal. Lots of action, fast paced, talent from all over, hot finish!
“The Father of Flawless” Edward Draven vs Jay Alpha Miller (Flag Match - CCDL King of the Party Championship)
Draven gets attacked as he is making his entrance and this fight is on! It appears the first one to grab their flag is the winner. USA flag for Miller and a modified rainbow USA flag for Draven, PCW models modern inclusive American professional wrestling and I DIG that. Early exchanges favor Draven as he hits a great springboard arm drag. Miller gets the advantage with a backstabber and starts chanting USA but Draven spears him and unloads. Big reverse X Factor on Draven and Miller is in control now and starts attacking the leg.
Draven escapes from the corner and starts charging Miller with splashes but Miller cuts it off with a suplex. He throws Draven into the corner and heads outside after him. Draven fights back and they crawl back in where Draven hits a DDT. Commentary picks back up and Miller hits a backstabber! Miller looks ready to finish it but Draven reverses him into an inverted slam! Draven goes for his flag but Miller stops him and slaps him. Draven grabs him and hits a Megabuster from the top rope! Miller’s momentum sends him towards his flag though and Draven has to stop him from getting his flag.
Draven goes for his flag now but Miller runs over to try and stop it, but Draven hits him and grabs his flag to win the match and the CCDL King of the Party title! Big moment! Miller seems to accept the defeat and present the crown to Draven, but he’s full of it again and stomps the crown into the ground destroying it! You poor loser Miller! What about the Constitutional right to property? You just committed tyranny! Cuatro comes out though and saves the day presenting Draven with a NEW CCDL King of the Party title belt! Oh that looks nice. Big win for Draven!
Cedric Terrell vs Duncan Mitchell Avecilla vs Hakeem Young vs Trey Shaw (PCW Dealer’s Choice Championship)
Hakeem Young is announced by Brian Blaze as a surprise fourth entrant to this match. Makes perfect sense to see all four Eastside Ronin members fighting this out for the title and bragging rights of their now defunct faction. Young and Terrell battle to begin and Terrell goes for an early cover but Young hits a massive slam and Shaw moves in to take control. Avecilla sneaks in and attacks and hits a bulldog on Shaw. On the outside young and Terrell and fighting and Young drives him into the ring post.
Inside Avecilla clubbing Shaw and covers for two. Shaw powers back and hits a suplex on Duncan for two. Young grabs Shaw’s leg and brings him out and Duncan follows. Cedric I assume dives out onto all three guys. Wild fight taking place on opposite sides of the arena. Shaw with a spinning forearm on Avecilla that gets two. Terrell with a moonsault attempt from the top rope that gets two. Hakeem sneaks in with a spear on Shaw that gets a close two. Shaw hits a NICE exploding suplex on Duncan get gets two. Shaw uses a red mist in Duncan’s eyes and Hakeem saves Mitchell. Terrell tries attacking Shaw but gets superkicked. Shaw scoops Terrell into a giant bomb of a slam that gets three! The Top Killa retains the title in a great match!
Lamar Diggs vs William Huckaby (King of the Street Fight)
These two have been building to this match for months, with both guys not willing to back down to the other. You know, mountain vs mountain type stuff. Here we go as Huckaby hits a GIANT suplex to start but Diggs no sells it and spears Huck in the back and both guys are swinging! Wow! Low blow from Huckaby and he regains the edge and they go outside. Huckaby dismantles the railing and throws it into the ring. Uh oh, I don’t like where this is headed.
Now Huckaby is setting up the pieces of railing in a corner like some sort of death bed and brings Diggs back in. Diggs able to go on the attack raking the eyes but Huck fights back again with a headbutt. He’s pulling off the shirt now you know he’s serious. Huckabee suplexes Diggs INTO the bed of death railing!!! WOW! That was a nasty one right there as Diggs violently shaking trapped in the railing. Huckabee pulls him out and Diggs desperately punches him to get distance and starts choking Huckaby. Diggs pulls out a pair of brass knuckles given to him by his in house kid and decks Huckaby!! Now a big splash and Diggs goes up top and hits another splash! He’s going back up again and hits a THIRD splash! Matt Hankins screams for help as Diggs goes up again to hit yet ANOTHER splash and the referee is calling for the bell. This one is over as the locker room clears with wrestlers trying to protect Huckaby as Diggs hits ANOTHER splash from the top! Diggs wins bay bay!
H-Town Hittas (KJ & JJ) vs KC Rocker & Kid Koota vs Deon Summerz & Eddie Honcho – CCDL Tag Team Championship
This match is contested under Luchador rules, and the fans are happy to see a returning Honcho without the mask he had worn for most of the past year. Crowd chants ‘ENT sucks’ and the Hittas aren’t happy with them as we get underway. KJ bails to begin against Honcho and allows Kid Koota to start against Eddie. Honcho throws Koota around using his size.
Koota dances some and tries to lift Honcho but that doesn’t go well, Honcho reverses and Koota tries a sunset flip but that doesn’t work either. Honcho starts unloading but Koota dropkicks and starts punching and hits a nice jumping leg drop that drops Honcho. Rocker tags in but so does Summerz who hits a clothesline for two. Rocker takes him down but then the Hittas grab Rocker and start attacking on the outside. JJ in the ring now with Deon and the Hittas start attacking him in their corner then hit a double side slam for two.
Hittas continue double team and hit a spear/clothesline combo that gets two on Deon. Hittas hit their double drop finisher on Deon and that brings in everybody to stop the pin and it becomes a brawl. Honcho stacks up all the other guys in the corner and gives the BIG splash! Honcho drops his trousers and delivers a four man stink face to the delight of the fans in Conyers. Gotta give it to Honcho, the dude knows how to work his gimmick and it pays every damn time.
Honcho continues to attack but Kid Koota attacks and Rocker adds a superkick. KJ takes charge but gets splashed and stink faced by Honcho himself. KJ avoids another splash and rolls Honcho up for three! H Town Hittas retain the CCDL Tag Team Championship in a nice match!
Cuatro Cabezas vs Sleepy Rassla
Oh boy do I love a Sleepy Rassla match. He has an absolutely original gimmick that couldn’t be done by anyone else the same way. Nina Monet joins Sleepy at ringside as his muse and the bell rings. Cuatro was wearing some De La Vega gear in his entrance, Sleepy as his alter ego is deeply psychologically entwined in this angle. Sleepy takes control early with a snap mare but misses a drop kick and starts sweeping Cuatros leg which is given back by Cuatro. Sleepy takes a brief nap, which is supposed to be good for overall body health.
Both guys miss charges in the corner and Cuatro hits a suplex that gets two. Cuatro rips off a piece of Sleepy’s belt, and Sleepy decides to remove more clothing. I’m telling you this Sleepy is living in another world! Test of strength goes to Sleepy and he gets a one count. Sleepy comes to life with charges and a nice back suplex that gets two. Sleepy hits a modified powerbomb on Cuatro followed by a kick to the face that gets a one count. Grandpa is referee tonight and is right on top of the action. Cuatro fights back with three chinbusters and a neckbreaker that gets a two count. Sleepy fights back with a snap suplex that gets two.
Swinging neckbreak from Sleepy gets another two count and Sleepy applies a leg scissors. Cuatro is in trouble but he’s fighting back kicking out at two. Cuatro on the verge on passing out but uses leverage to escape but Sleepy grabs him and throws him down by the mask for a two count. Sleepy puts Cuatro on the top rope but Cuatro fights him off and hits a high cross body that gets two. Sleepy up first but Cuatro feels like dancing and now he’s unloading on Sleepy and hits a clothesline. Cuatro kicks him in the head and gets a two count. Cuatro goes for a Stunner, but Sleepy reverses into a Skull Crushing Finale and applies a submission hold!
Cuatro is looking like he’s going out…but wait his hand didn’t fall the third time! He’s alive! He’s dancing! He hits a DDT on Sleepy that gets two! Cuatro tries to finish but gets caught for an FU by Sleepy for two! Seesaw battle back and forth! Headbutt from Sleepy but Cuatro hits the stunner outta nowhere and Sleepy bails to the apron. Both guys on the apron now and Sleepy hits a sitting slam on Cuatro right on the ring apron! Ouch.
Amazingly Cuatro fights back to his feet! He IS indestructible! Cuatro goes to the top rope and hits a double ax handle to the outside! Both guys roll back in and Sleepy hits a clothesline! What a battle! Sleepy now attacks Grandpa!!! What the hell is going on with this guy?!? Sleepy grabs a chair and prepares to kill Cuatro but Deon Summerz runs in and steals it allowing Cuatro to hit a stunner and a powerslam! No ref though!!! Nina Monet casts a spell on Sleepy and he revives! He scoops Cuatro for a slam but Cuatro reverses into a roll up and gets three! Big win for Cuatro Cabezas!
The lights go out immediately after the three count and a masked man emerges distracting Cuatro and Deon. When the lights come back on Hakeem Young and Jay Alpha Miller attack Cuatro and Deon and Sleepy Rassa attacks Matt Hankins in the announce booth! It is chaos at Turn the Page 2! Sleepy continues his assault on Deon and Cuatro back in the ring, clearly this isn’t over as he almost decapitates Cuatro with a chair.
Rose Gold vs Nathaniel Vanderbilt – No Holds Barred Match
Vanderbilt makes his entrance first and Rose can’t wait and attacks him on the entrance area. Rose starts off grabbing a chair but Nate eye rakes and clotheslines her to get control. He applies a front face lock and picks her up and DDTs her. Fans are definitely behind Rose tonight, as they have been witness to the break up of this longtime couple first hand. Rose fights back and gets control sweeping him to the ground for two. Vanderbilt doesn’t let it last though and pulls her into the turnbuckle.
Big boot from Nate and he gets a two count. He grabs the chair and cracks her a good one. Another shot across the back! Now he’s placing the chair into the corner and tries to throw her into it but she reverses and throws him into it! Both are down now and our ref is checking on them. So weird to see them blasting each other after watching them make out for so long. But I digress. Big kick from Rose and then she hits a Hurricanrana and a side slam for two. Rose grabs the chair and starts unloading on Nate now, screaming at him in between shots. Nate uses the ref to distract Rose and superkicks her to regain the advantage, nice. Rose is able to backdrop Nate however, and kicks him off the ring apron into the wall! She goes out and fires him back in, but Nate is ready and kicks her in the head as she re-enters. He goes for the suplex but Rose reverses and hits a spinebuster into the chair on the ground for a very close two count!
Rose starts slapping Nate now, screaming at him! Nate goes nuts though and scoops her up and slams her for two. He mounts her and starts unloading with punches and forearms and its looking bad for Rose. Nate reloads the chair and sets it next to another one to create an “iron coffin” as he puts Rose on it and goes to the second rope. Nate jumps but gets caught by the throat and she chokeslams him into the iron coffin! Two count thought it was three!
Uh oh here comes Lamar Diggs to the ring and Rose slaps him but Rose gets rolled up by Nate for two! Diggs has had enough an knocks the CRAP outta Rose. Nate moves her into position and hits a DDT and gets three. Your winner is the dastardly Diablo of Dinero Nathaniel Vanderbilt. Wow. He broke her heart, humiliated her, AND beat her in the payoff. Rough night for 24 Karat Rose Gold. Good match until Diggs stuck his nose in.
“Hollywood” Hunter James vs “The Hoochie Daddy” Najasism – PCW Heavyweight Championship
Here comes the BIG one folks! Hollywood vs the Hoochie Daddy for all the marbles! Both of these guys are absolute beasts and worthy of consideration for top honors in the state. James enters first and has the fans behind him. Naja and the ENT enter next and also has a decent percentage of the house behind him as well. Big house! Big title! Ring the bell! Wait, Brian Blaze enters the arena and announces the ENT are BANNED from ringside! Also it’s a no DQ match! Naja is gonna have to do this one the old fashioned way if he wants to retain his title!
AND whoa!!! They reveal a brand new PCW Heavyweight Championship belt! Draped in purple like the Jeff Hardy TNA belt! It looks awesome and you KNOW both of these guys want to be the first person to hold it! Lets go!
Both guys start slugging away to begin and Hunter goes for a Brainbuster but Naja reverses and tries a Georgia Driver but Hunter reverses that one. Great exchange and Naja tries a Sharpshooter but Hunter reverses and HITS THE BRAINBUSTER! 1..2..kick out! That was CLOSE and almost over in a flash! Naja bails to recover but James follows and kicks him in the head. Hunter flips to the outside and grabs Naja into a deathdrop! He throws Naja back in but Naja runs out the other side only to get double ax handled by James off the top!
James throws Naja back in but this time Naja is ready with a spinning spear to get some distance to recover. Naja kicks him while he is down. Hunter tries to fight back but Naja boots him down and gets two. Naja does some grinding, that means he’s confident. Naja hits a jumping face kick and then rolls through and kicks him again and gets two. Crowd starts a ‘Naja sucks’ chant. Naja heads to the top rope and does some grinding before trying a Swanton bomb that hits only knees!
Hunter up now and starts clotheslining Naja and gets a close two. Naja with a desperation eye poke and he heads back up to the top and hits a high cross body but Hunter holds onto him and picks him back up and hits a fall away power slam! WOW!!! Two count! Nice sequence there. Baseball slide dropkick hits Naja on the outside but Naja counters hitting him with a small table. Hunter grabs the tablecloth and starts choking then beating Naja with it. No DQ remember.
Both guys start slapping the crap out of each other two feet in front of the fans. Hunter gets in first and Naja leaps over him and DDTs him! Two count! Naja starts stomping James and picks him up for a piledriver! Damn! Naja stays on him and elbows James but Hunter hits a jumping knee lift but Naja stays strong and grabs Hunter for a suplex into the turnbuckle! And into another one! And ANOTHER one! Hunter is a sack of goo and Naja is ready to finish it. Naja elbows then spears James but Hunter catches him with an elbow on the third and both guys are down.
Grandpa is counting to 10 but both guys up at 8 and Hunter clotheslines and kicks Naja and then hits a pair of German suplexes! Then a third one! Hunter back up and hits a running kick to Naja but he’s stunned and can’t cover. Naja bails and Hunter dives through the ropes into the Hoochie Daddy! He fires Naja back in and goes to the top rope and hits a 450 into a pin that gets two! Hollywood is pulling out ALL the stops here! He calls for the Brainbuster from the top and goes after Naja only to get punched. Naja leaps OVER Hunter and hits a top rope stunner! Two count!!!
Crowd is all on their feet as both guys struggle to get up. Hunter rolls up Naja for two and then Hunter kicks Grandpa across the face accidentally and he’s out cold! Spanish fly from Naja and both guys are out along with Grandpa! Crowd is screaming as the ENT rush the ring and they stomp James while the ref is in dreamland. They bring in a pair of chairs and plywood and they set up a mini double decker table. Uh oh. The backstage area clears as wrestlers arrive to fight off the ENT.
Naja picks Hunter up on the top rope but Hunter is able to reverse and hit a powerbomb on Naja through the double decker table! Hunter crawls for a pin but Grandpa is still snoozing. He tries to wake Grandpa up and Naja grabs a chair and clobbers Hunter! He covers him! Grandpa is waking up! 1..2…KICK OUT! Naja hits a Hoochie Driver! Another kickout! Naja is incensed now and starts kicking the bejeebers outta Hunter’s dome. Hunter springs to his feet and Naja can’t believe it!
Hunter goes on the attack with ten punches and a superkick, then hits a Brainbuster on the top turnbuckle followed by a Brainbuster in the ring! 1…2…KICK OUT!?! Naja is still alive and fans are chanting ‘this is awesome’ and I’d agree. Hunter calls for one final Brainbuster but Naja reverses into his own Brainbuster and a modified powerbomb! Now he’s slapped on the Hoochie Shooter! Will Hunter tap?!? Hunter passes out and Naja is your winner and STILL PCW Heavyweight Champion! Amazing matchup! Great win for Naja!
WAIT A MINUTE! Brian Blaze is clearing the ring! It appears Dominic Stuckey is cashing in his opportunity at the title RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!
“The Hitmaker” Dominic Stuckey vs “The Hoochie Daddy” Najasism – PCW Heavyweight Championship
Naja has barely made it to his feet when Stuckey spears him! He hits a big DDT but Naja kicks out at two! Stuckey heads to the top rope and misses an attack and Naja gets a kick and gets a two count! Naja back throwing kicks left and right and he’s trying to defend twice tonight! Dominic reverses Naja and hits a jumping DDT followed by another and covers him for 1..2…3! New champ, new champ! Dominic Stuckey has made the most of his opportunity and cashed in to win the PCW Heavyweight Championship at Turn the Page!!! HUGE win for the Hitmaker as he evolves his career to the next level.
Great show, hot crowd, big stories….I’m LOVIN PCW right now and can’t wait to see how Stuckey manages to survive now that he has the top target on his back! Thanks IWTV and PCW, it was a gas!
