Saturday, November 16th, was the night that Jacques Rougeau's Wrestle Academy 2024 became part of the history books of Canadian wrestling. Throughout this Fall, the best Men and Women wrestlers in the Great White North gave everything they had in the squared circle. Fans from all across Canada, the USA, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Central and South America, Europe, and even as far as Southeast Asia and Australia came to watch the event as part of the fan attendance from the Leonardo Da Vinci Centre at the Heart of Montreal, Quebec's Little Italy. On the night of the Finals, Every match had the makings of Main Event status, along with the Meet and Greet with The Rougeau Brothers ("The Mountie" Jacques and his brother, retired wrestler and now Mayor of Rawdon, Quebec, Raymond Rougeau), alongside NWA and WCW Legends: Jimmy and Ronnie Garvin. Former TNA and Ring of Honor, and current Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling star: Giselle Shaw also appeared on the night of the Finals of Wrestle Academy 2024. There were four winners. The Giant Orion and Jeremy Prophet won in the Men's finals, while Relentless Rylie Rose and Zondra Lee won in the Women's finals Each of them won the Grand Prize of $10,000.00 and representing Canada wrestling one week in Mexico at Bandido's BIG LUCHA promotion in Mexico City and one week at Kyushu Pro Wrestling in Kyoto, Japan. In upcoming editions, the Semifinals and Finals of Wrestle Academy 2024 will be uploaded for you to watch. The two-day pre-Thanksgiving pop Culture event Caribbean Gamic Expo, held on Saturday, November 16th, and Sunday, November 17th, at Dr. Juan Sanchez Coliseum, Moca, Puerto Rico, was very successful. Comic Books, Movies, Anime, Sci-Fi, and Wrestling fans from all over the island and all across America had a wonderful time enjoying the festivities. Superstars from Rincon's Caribbean Pro Wrestling, and Comerio's CWA Superstars, "El Magnate Cubano," Rodrigo Garcia, and Eddito were also on hand. There were custom-made wrestling belts for the Cosplay and Video game contest winners, Comic Book and Movie writer Scott Lobdell, local Boricua comic artists and creators: Tommy Villareal and Daniel Torres, including Anime voice actor and actress: Mike McFarland and Faye Mata were also a part of the event. Through the sponsorship of local businesses on the West Side of the Island such as Aguada's Movie Planet and San Sebastian's JASDY Collectibles. the two-day event was so successful, That preparations for the Caribbean Gamic Expo will return on July 19-20th, 2025 from Luis Aymat Cardona Coliseum, San Sebastian, Puerto Rico are already in the works. Puerto Rico's CWA promotion has been on a winning streak with the fans since their Sixteenth Anniversary Show late last Summer and throughout This Fall, It also has its downturns. "La Perla Nega" Allison Benjamin had to relinquish the CWA Women's Championship due to an injury that forced her to take time off. Not all of it was negative, there are positives as well. Since making a partnership with Lancaster, Pennsylvania's Three Legacies Wrestling, also Invaded Arecibo's Ground Zero Wrestling a few weeks ago, the promotion is gearing up for its Year-end event, Christmas Showdown on Saturday, December 14th from Teatro America, in Vega Baja.
