From Larry Goodman:
SHW 74 was a night of triumph for some of SHW's major heroes.
Gary Lamb returned and made his presence felt in a big way. Sunny Daze and Sal Rinauro snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Matt Griffin and Gunner Miller got their asses beat, depriving the ACTION CEO of control of Southern Honor Wrestling.
Daze got Juju back and has Miller in a fan lumberjack strap match Friday night at the ACTION Building in the go-home home show for Rumblejack 2025.
If losing to David Manders at Southern Fried wasn't sufficient humiliation, Griffin will be in a dog kennel Friday night.
The Infantry regained physical possession of the SHW Tag Team Championships.
Rising newcomer Byron Young shocked Hunter James for the second month in a row.
On the other side of the coin, Bryce Cannon became the new JTS Legacy Champion. He screwed Kyle Matthews five ways from Sunday to take the title.

SHW Champion Joe Black's plate is overflowing with competition in the forms of former MLW and ACTION Champion Alex Kane and former Southern Fried Champion CT Keys.
Almost every segment of this show was over with the live crowd. The sound production on SHW video tells no lies. Five time GWH award winners Brandon Benefield and Gerard Bonner on commentary, the incomparable Diane Michel was the ring announcer.
Since Duke Ingraham was disappeared from GHW, covering Southern Honor defaulted to me and it's been a fun ride. I regained my appreciation for the way this company puts on high quality shows month-in and month-out, professionalism personified.
(1) Bryce Cannon defeated Kyle Matthews to win the JTS Legacy Championship in 10:15. Matthews worked over Cannon's knee. Cannon returned the favor. Cannon went down like he's reinjured his surgically repaired knee. Matthews ventured to close. Cannon snapped Matthews' throat off the ropes and immediately pinned him with the Keg Stand.
(2) Double or Nothing: Byron Young defeated Hunter James to retain his spot in the Rumblejack and win $5000 in 10:04. Young showed he could 100% hang with James. He kicked out of the Viperplex and the Hollywood Twist.
Anthony Agogo backstage promo. Returning to SHW after a one year absence, Agogo was in a Jaw jackin', skull crackin' sour mood.
(3) Shawn Dean pinned Liam Gray in 8 minutes. Dean was accompanied by co-tag team champion Carlie Bravo. Dean said I've got this and indeed he did. Dean dominated. It was the the SWH match he needed. In an ode to AC Mack, Dean won out with a Mack 10.
Bravo returned to the ring with the Infantry's stolen tag team belts and the rightful champions left with their titles back where they belong.
Matt Griffin was backstage with Sunny's dog. Griffin locked Juju in the electrical closet and threatened to present ACTION Wrestling in the Action Building next month. The rat bastard left the water running. Benefield rushed backstage in attempt to free Juju.
(4) "The Big Cannoli" Rosario Grillo defeated "Kid Icon" Ethan Dallas (with Aaron Dallas) in 6:27. Soon as the bell rang, Aaron came to ringside to second his brother. Grillo was handing Ethan his ass but there was no quit in him. AD cheated by putting his brother's foot on the ropes. As the ref admonished AD, Grillo kicked Ethan in the cannolis, then stomped him for the win.
This was effective little match. They sized up right. Ethan makes a great babyface in peril and his offense is looking better.
The Kenway was backstage with Chianne Michaels. Kenway made his intentions crystal clear. He's coming for the JTS Legacy belt.
(5) Rumblejack Qualifier: Anthony Agogo defeated Fry Daddy in 6:29. Not a bad match but the crowd wasn't feeling it. Bonner put over Agogo's bronze medal at the 2010 Olympics as a middleweight boxer. Agogo is also blind in his left eye, Agogo knocked Fry out with the Guv'nor's Hammer (pop up punch).
(6) Grayson Pierce defeated Jay Lucas in 6:18. Pierce was maniacally vicious. He dissected Jay's shoulder. Lucas tried for the Jay Driller but the damage had been done. Pierce set up for a package piledriver and Lucas got dropped right on his God damned head. The move looked seriously messed up. Dylan Frymyer has made some slick booking maneuvers. He didn't ride the wave of Lucas' babyface push.
Alexander Lev attacked Pierce and went for the Lev Clash. Pierce wriggled free and ran away.
Lev in-ring promo. Lev offered "bakstabber" Pierce a free shot from the front. Pierce was long gone. Lev said the people wanted to see him go for championships. Priority number one was getting his hands on Pierce. Lev popped the crowd with the return of his "I Am Faithful" tag line.
Backstage, Sunny Daze was losing his mind trying to find Juju. You mean to tell me all the time Sunny has spent in this building, he doesn't know where the electrical closet is?
(7) Joe Black defeated CT Keys via DQ to retain the SHW Championship in 19:45. Bonner called Black's 238 day title reign the greatest in SHW history. Before the bell, Alex Kane made his way out to the announcer's table. SHW is well served by the way they incorporate stars on color commentary.
That had a hell of a match. Keys hit the F5 but Black's feet were in the ropes. Kane said Keys had the title won but forgot about ring positioning. Keys threw his wrist taped in Kane's face and brought the title belt into the ring with bad intent. Kane left commentary to snatch the belt out of CT's hands. Keys pie-faced Kane. Kane tried to hit Keys with belt. Keys ducked. Black ate the belt shot from Kane for the DQ and Keys planted Kane with a uranage.
The Kenway came out to protect Black. Keys put his foot on Kane's neck while holding the SHW title over his head.
(8) Happy Madness (Sunny Daze & Sal Rinauro) defeated Gunner Miller & Matt Griffin in around fifteen minutes of action. They got everything humanly possible out of this match. They were ruthless and violent. All over the building brawls building play better on video when the building is packed out.
Griffin was wearing Juju's collar on his wrist. Daze knocked out referee Clarke DeBennedeto while Miller and Griffin were still on the ramp. Unconscionable violence ensued. The heels bled. Giffin had rivulets of blood running down his face. Rinauro took a backdrop onto a board set on top of chairs on the floor. How fun could that be? Daze got anhilated. Griffin pointed Gunner towards the handcuffs Sunny brought to the ring. That did not end well for them.
Happy Madness handcuffed Griffin the barricade. Daze shredded a kendo stick wailing on Griffin's back. A video on the screen showed somebody finding the room where Juju was imprisoned.
Lamb appeared carrying Juju in his arms. Miller was gobsmacked and got speared by Daze. Happy Madness hit their Cowabunga finisher and piled on Miller for the win. The building went up for grabs with people literally jumping for joy.
Lamb returned Juju to Daze.
Lamb said he figured after nine months it was time to come back. Daze had earned the right to get whatever he wanted. July 11, Daze would get Miller in a fan lumberjack strap match with Matt Griffin imprisoned in a dog kennel.
