For as much as Billy Knight (and Stan Robinson) do for their surrounding community,
tonight was all about helping Billy! Crowd was popping even with the heat and the
action was on fire!
We start with Commissioner and Ring Announcer Jason Boyd in the ring as the National
Anthem plays. He welcomes the crowd and thanks them for coming to support one of
their own.
Match 1: (Referee Caleb) “Dark Horse” Xander Seabolt vs “Wrestling Sensation” AJ
Black (Winner gets an invitation to the Billy Knight Invitational)—These two tangled
once more with much more on the line! They start with an intense lockup where they
traded hellacious chops in the corner. AJ executes a jumping lariat kick followed by a
missile dropkick from the top rope for an early 1 ½ count before Seabolt kicks out.
Xander gains control when he drops Black throat first on the ropes, delivers a
clothesline and rear chin lock to slow down his quicker opponent. AJ is thrown to the
outside, then as he re-enters the ring, Seabolt with the knee to the back of Black before
he tosses him back outside. AJ regains himself a bit in time to catch Xander with a
sunset flip from the outside with a 2 count. Back body drop on Seabolt then a falling foot
to the face by Black. After a jumping flatliner from AJ, it’s Xander who throws him hard
into the turnbuckle. As he prepares to send him into another buckle, AJ goes up and
over a charging Seabolt finishing with a sunset flip roll up for the win!
Winner: AJ Black via pinfall
Match 2: (Referee Jordan) Chris Gainz vs Josh Storm—The cerebral technician of the
Lethal Gainz faction vs the returning crowd-favorite high flyer! Storm with the early arm
drags to keep Gainz off balance. Shoulder block from Gainz, Josh with a jump kick then
they trade vicious chops. Chris’s ground and pound set up a super-tight body scissors
on Josh. Storm’s step-up enziguri caught Gainz just above the ear, then multiple sling
blades and a cobra clutch had 1/3 of Lethal Gainz reeling. However, the squared-circle
veteran performed an effective roll up of Storm, while catching his balance on the ropes,
and gets the 1-2-3!
Winner—Chris Gainz via pinfall
Match 3: (Referee Butterbean) Hayden Seal vs Eddie Hendrixx—Test of strength at the
beginning, Eddie with the power advantage. Hendrixx uses booming European
uppercuts then a rolling cannonball and chops to break down the defense of Hayden.
Seal’s knee to the gut and textbook side Russian leg sweep evened out the match for a
bit. Hendrixx with a back suplex throw of Seal who rebounds to take over control of
Eddie, but it’s Hendrixx with the jab-chop-jab-chop repeating combo staggering Seal.
Eddie performs a side walk slam and gets a 2 ½ count. Hayden with the crucifix roll up
into a fireman’s carry throwdown for a near fall. He tries to end it with a full nelson
submission, but the power of Eddie was too much. He breaks free of the hold and
finishes Seal with the spinning front flatliner slam for the victory!
Winner—Eddie Hendrixx via pinfall
Jason Boyd in the ring to introduce Jimmy The Kid! Jimmy says many great things
about Billy Knight and how much Billy has meant to his life and career. Billy comes out
to thank everyone for their support and we head to intermission.
Match 4: “Prodigal Son” Ryan Marx vs The Prophet Brother Azriel (w/ Taliaferro): Two
of the largest humans in the building squared off as it was Taliaferro and Azriel who
answered the open challenge from Marx. Very even lockup to start with neither
garnering much ground on the other. Azriel landed some should blocks, a powerslam
and a thunderous splash on Marx. Ryan commenced attacking Azriel’s leg utilizing
strategic kicks and stretching slams. The Prophet was the recipient of the over-castle
from the second rope from Marx. Afterwards the two behemoths traded razor-sharp
knife edge chops. They clothesline each other, Azriel to his feet first. The Prophet with a
should tackle, back elbow strike and impressive fall-away slam. Running clotheslines
then it’s Marx who catches Azriel in Divine Judgement for the win!
Winner—“Prodigal Son” Ryan Marx via pinfall
Match 5: (Referee Zander) “Lethal Lariat” Lamar Phillips (w/ Ryan Marx, Chris Gainz)
vs Frankie Valentine (w/ Tweety)—A rematch from many times in the past as these two
veterans have gotten in each other’s way for a long time. Phillips strength was only
countered by Valentine’s quickness as Frankie catches Lamar with a head scissiors
sending him flying to the outside. It’s Valentine off the top rope with a crossbody onto all
three members of Lethal Gainz. Once back in the ring, Phillips tosses Frankie to the
outside where Marx and Gainz appear to try to help Frankie back into the ring. Referee
Zander sees it differently and tosses the other two members of Lethal Gainz from the
match! Lamar retrieves Frankie only to drop him with a devastating delayed suplex in
the middle of the ring, only get a 2 count as Frankie hears the crowd getting behind him.
Valentine with a small comeback attempt, Phillips sends him hard into the turnbuckle.
Massive chops and a body lock by Phillips. Frankie battles back with a moonsault from
the top rope, missile dropkick. Lamar catches him, tells him “not today Frankie” and
smashes him into the canvas with a 180 degree bone-crushing spinebuster…2 ¾ count
as Valentine kicks out at the last split second. Phillips has had enough of the slow
counting from the official. He gets in Zander’s face, taps him on the head and gets back
to punishing Frankie. Official Zander recovers and gets in Lamar’s face before ducking
a strike from Phillips and catching him in the gut with a side kick. This was all the set up
Valentine needed for the code breaker (along with a slightly faster than normal count
from Referee Zander) and the victory!
Winner—Frankie Valentine (w/ Tweety) via pinfall
Match 6--Main Event: (Referee Butterbean) Stevie Ray Frost (c) vs “Southern Outlaw”
Sean Nelson (Premier All-Star Heavyweight Championship)—Nelson with the quick
attack barrage of strikes at the jump catching Frost a little off guard. Back body drop on
Frost then punches and chops from Nelson, Frost countering with his own. Stevie
attempts a big chop on Nelson who moves out of the way and it’s Stevie’s hand to meet
the cold steel of the ring post! Nelson gets Frost back in the ring adding a big-time kick
and getting a 2 count on the PAS champ. Frost tries to get something out of Sean’s eye
and now Nelson’s vision is blurred for a small second. Nelson gets sent hard into the
turnbuckle, Stevie takes the wind out of him with the assistance of the ring ropes. Back
elbow by SRF for a 2 count. The crowd stays rabid, cheering loudly for “their champ”
Nelson. Rake of the back and chin lock from Stevie. Sean is sent flailing through the
ropes, crashing onto a nearby chair. Wishbone on Sean by Frost on the ring pole.
Nelson uses a couple clotheslines to get back in the fight, then a spinning power bomb
slam for a 2 count. Stevie up to his feet to deliver one of his own on Sean for a 2 count.
Swinging flatliner followed by a swinging Gory Special slam earning another close fall.
Frost reaches back for a super punch from the farther reaches of the Anchorage, Alaska
deep forest and connects! Nelson’s shoulders are on the mat for the 1-2-3.
Post match AJ Black slides in the ring to tell the referee that Frost had a hidden object
in his hand when he hit Nelson. The official makes it a Disqualification win for Nelson.
No object was recovered but a donnybrook broke out with the entire locker room spilling
into the ring and we have an impromptu Battle Royal! Bodies were flying everywhere
until there were only a few left in the ring. It was the “Southern Outlaw” however that
stood tall in the end. Billy came to the ring as AJ Black and Sean Nelson said some
great things about him.
Winner—“Southern Outlaw” Sean Nelson via DQ
Takeaways:
-Great turnout to support Billy Knight. The fans of Premier definitely respect and
genuinely like him.
-Black versus Seabolt out of the gate was a banger. These two beat each other all
over the ring with AJ getting the win. Feels like it’s not the last time the long-time
rivals will see each in the same ring.
-Gainz continues to be the cerebral technician of Lethal Gainz faction and had a
tough draw with a returning Josh Storm. The crowd is still big on Storm and he
showed he can hang with Gainz if he has his A-game.
-Hendrixx is a big strong dude who can overpower many others in a ring. Seal
had to try to outlast him with quickness and ingenuity. Eddie is a force that will be
hard for anyone to tackle moving forward.
-Marx had his open challenge answered first by Taliaferro who then introduced
The Prophet Brother Azriel. Marx had to dig into his “devilish” side to pull out the
victory. Azriel is quite good, especially at his size and is a handful for anyone to
deal with.
-Frankie and Lamar put on a classic as only these two veterans could. Not sure
what beef Referee Zander Whoric and Lamar Phillips have with one another, but
Zander helping Frankie defeat Phillips is only going to anger the “Lethal Lariat”
into more destruction.
-Sean Nelson versus Stevie Ray Frost was a classic. Nelson is good enough to
take the title from Frost, yet it was Frost once more finding new ways to keep his
title. It is no mistake that Stevie has had the championship for almost a full
calendar year. Biggest question is: who can find a way to take the title off of
Stevie Ray Frost when so many have come up just short in the past?
Next show is next Saturday at the Church Without Walls in Carrollton, Ga. (8-23-25)
