The superstars of Bullpen Pro Wrestling invaded the Temple Rec Center for a night loaded with action! The fans packed out the venue (even after a venue change with just a couple days notice) and made their voices heard all evening long!
“Cowboy” Johnny Brown and “The Empress of Echoes” Summer Blackfyre are your MC’s for the evening. Referees are Caleb, Connor & Hunter.
Match 1: “Mr. PeachState” Shane Noles Vs. “Lawless” James Bennett—Technical issues resulted in Noles coming out to no music. His remedy was to grab a live microphone and roast anybody making eye contact! Midway through a diatribe, music hit and we are joined by “Lawless” James Barrett! When the match begins it’s Barrett with the upperhand early, throwing Noles into the nearby corner and smashing with a splash in the corner while rolling through to the apron. Noles thwarts the follow up attack however, unleashing thunderous chops that definitely left their mark on Barrett. James attempts a crossbody from the top, but Shane catches him then turns that into a “PeachState’s Strongest Slam” for a two count. Noles scoops up Barrett for a side-walk slam for another near fall. 360 clothesline and a bone-shattering piledriver for the win! After the match Noles continued his verbal barrage for the ringside fans “fortunate” enough to be within eyesight of him.

Match 2: (Grudge Match) Trey Jordan Vs. BK Bennett—These two have tangled all across West Georgia for quite a time. An injury delayed this chapter taking place until tonight. BK starts off strong with a punches in bunches to catch Trey off balance early. Jordan finds himself draped over the second rope as Bennett executes the 404 for a quick two count! Then Trey’s power took over. He tosses BK to the outside, then followed him where Bennett was thrust into the ring pole. As they get back inside the ring, BK pulls a quick attack and gets a one count as Trey grabs the rope. Jordan regains control, but he misses a splash and rolls to the outside. Bennett decides he is not waiting for his return and leaps over the ropes to splash Jordan. Trey with a couple smashing head butts. Bennett battles back and hits a second 404, then he heads to the top rope. As Jordan is starting to rise, Bennett leaps from the top with a legdrop to the back of the head! He covers Jordan and gets the 1-2-3!
Winner: BK Bennett via pinfall

Lincoln rolls outside for a short break. Back in the ring, Ashworth hits a shoulder tackle then a headlock takedown. Ashworth win another slam, then misses an elbow drop. Alexander uses strikes to level Jacob. Then some knees to Ashworth before missing a running splash in the corner. He recovers to throw a running kick for a two count. Lincoln with a clothesline and rear chin lock to slow the pace of the match. Another slam, leg drop and another splash miss from Alexander…Ashworth rolls him up for a two and a half count. Jacob drops Alexander with a side-walk slam then a powerslam for a near fall. Out runs Joe Wood to attack Ashworth and the referee calls for the bell. After a couple minutes of the double team attack, Xavier Cross rushes the ring to even the odds. Some back and forth banter occurs then “Cowboy” Johnny Brown announces this tag team match with happen at the next big show on October 11th!

Ryan with the jump on Dante, but Diamond counters and sends his foe tumbling to the outside after a couple powerful kicks! Dante chases Wyndell around ringside yet it is the “Loyalist” with the upper hand again once back inside. A wicked hanging neck breaker from Ryan. Then they both have the same idea and double clothesline one another to even the contest again. Once both regain their feet, it’s Diamond with the control as they fight in and out of the ring for a bit. Wyndell finds a moment to swing the momentum by sending Dante into the ring pole a couple times then slams his head into the ring steps. As Dante emerges, we learn he has been busted open! Wyndell executes a suplex and a running bulldog from the corner. A leg drop garners a two count for Wyndell. Dante fights back with a superplex from the second rope followed by a curb stomp and his own leg drop, but Ryan kicks out at the last split second! Wyndell tries to cripple Diamond by locking in a figure-four leg lock. Diamond, in a great deal of pain, eventually finds the ropes to get a break. As he finds his bearings he uses a running bulldog from the corner on Ryan, then slings him into the turnbuckle multiple times. They trade shoulder tackle attempts that stagger each, but both stay on their feet. JT Paradox tags in and Phillips teases a test of strength only to abandon it and tag Gainz. Chris in and grabs a headlock on Paradox, then a shoulder tackle after the break. JT then gains control for a bit with his power. Phillips in and Paradox floors him with a flying shoulder tackle. As both members of Lethal Gainz stack up in the corner, Cross rushes across the ring to splash them both! JT hits a gymnast splash on Chris, Lamar with the lariat on JT. JT finally gets the hot tag to his partner Xavier who is crash the Lethal party. He goes Old School by walking to top rope while keeping Gainz in a wristlock, then finishes with an over-castle! Crazy chaos with action all over the ring with all four competitors. As the dust starts to settle, Paradox rolls up Phillips for the 1-2-3! Paradox and Cross think they have won the tag titles however, Lethal Gainz had signed up for a 6-Man Tag match so when it was condensed to a Tag contest…the titles were never added to the match. “Cowboy” Johnny Brown grabs the microphone to say since they DID beat the champs, they will get a future tag title shot for their efforts. Lethal Gainz verbally duel with the crowd as they exit with their belt still in tow.

Match 6: Kyle Gunner (w/ Shane Noles) Vs. Zander Whoric—After many months of Zander not agreeing with the actions of fellow official Gunner, these two finally get their hands on one another! Whoric was sporting a neck brace and noticeably not moving at full pace due to some physicality he had a week prior with a wrestler named Baracus. It did not impede his initial efforts. As the bell rings he shoots off like out of a cannon to jump on Kyle. Gunner fights back though. Noles asks the referee what time it is and Gunner takes full advantage. He dominates Zander for a small time with solid strikes and kicks. He snatches the brace off of Zander and parades around the ring with it in mocking fashion. They lockup, but as Adonis backs Valentine into a corner, Frankie leaps to the outside to avoid a nefarious tactic from Adonis. Once back in the ring, Frankie ducks a few attacks then climbs to the top to topple Rob with a textbook crossbody. This all leads to a melee with all six participants combining for a fracas of max capacity where Frankie and the Boyz got the better of their opponents. Zack and Aaron pair off after it settles down. Buchanan grabs a deep armbar on his counterpart. Adonis tags in who performs an impressive Saito suplex on Aaron. -Dante Diamond defeated “Loyalist” Ryan Wyndell via pinfall to win the Light Heavyweight Championship

-Zack Buchanan, Cody Windham, Rob Adonis Vs. The Wonderboyz (Aaron & Ethan Dallas), Frankie Valentine (w/ Tweety) ruled a No Contest after a melee breaks out
Takeaways:
-Shane Noles with an open mic is comedy gold on the highest levels
-“Lawless” is a solid performer who gave veteran Noles a tough night at the office. He had a lot of great offense, but Noles has the veteran knowledge
-BK Bennett’s return was great to see. He had some ring rust but he and Trey Jordan have really good chemistry. His run out to save the day later in the night was on point.
-Xavier Cross will be busy for the next few shows as he is already booked to team with Jacob Ashworth next big show while also earning a Tag Title shot with JT Paradox. Impressive future bookings for the young big man.
-Kyle Gunner won his debut with a performance that he can definitely build on. Aligning with Noles is not a bad choice either
-Good (first) title win for Diamond. He is following that up by immediately challenging Adonis for his title. Ambitious but a bold strategy that could pay off for the young grappler.
-Biggest questions I (and many fans) have going forward:
1) Why did Zack attack Cody on purpose after the accidental clash? Definitely not living the suite life like when they were on the same side.
2) What is next for “Loyalist” Ryan Wyndell? His title run was pretty good including some big wins. Now without the belt, who could his next target be?
