From Jeremy "The Impact" York:
The show starts with the familiar music of Ring Announcer and super personality Kyle
Charisma hits as he makes his high energy way to the ring. He welcomes the fans and
turns it over to “The Boss” Tenia Shaw to serenade those in attendance with the
National Anthem.
General Manager Rocky Shaw out next to update the crowd on the
Main Event with the announcement that not only did Eden Monroe return the
Championship (that she took during the preview show), but that she also did not make it
to the show. Walker XIII comes out and says he will make it an open challenge then for
Championship. More familiar music is heard as Chris Crunkk (accompanied by Roxxi
Redd & “The Throat Goat” Joey Gambino) saunters to the ring. Long story short, the
longtime friends agree to the Main Event later in the night.
Match 1: CJ Montana (c) V. Zack Dye (w/ Dan “The Man” Carter”)—Before the bell,
Dan “The Man” Carter announces that this contest will be for Montana’s Machine Gun
Pro Wrestling Championship! Montana is not happy about it and shows his displeasure.
They lockup with Dye using chain wrestling transitions to snap on a headlock. Montana
counters into an armbar, but Zach arm drags him a handful of times then a dropkick
sending CJ to the outside. Dye gives him no reprieve as he executes a Tope’ Suicida to
the outside! Somehow Montana is back in first and he spins over the top rope to splash
on Dye! CJ taunts Zach and the fans at ringside before leaping to the apron. As Dye is
getting to his feet in the ring, Montana flips over the rope to deliver a jaw-dropping
buckshot spear! He covers Dye…who kicks out at one. Cartwheel leg drop from CJ
followed by a dropkick in the corner to Zach. Then a suplex, sling blade and flipping
senton from the apron from Montana. He goes for the submission with a Scorpion
Deathlock, yet Dye will not….tap. He battles out of the hold and shoves CJ into the
corner before running to the opposite side. A running European uppercut to Montana
drops the champ as Dye scurries up the top turnbuckle. He flies from the top with a five
star frog splash for a very near fall. He gathers CJ up and hits a springboard dropkick.
As he goes to grab Montana it’s Montana that snatches Zach up and over with a rollup
for the 1,2,3!
Winner: (And Still Machine Gun Pro Wrestling Champion) CJ Montana via pinfall
Match 2: Colt Bane V. Sammie Evans V. Rico Bravo V. Jay O’Neal—A melee breaks
out early as Rico battles Jay and Sammie battles Colt! O’Neal with the Tope’ Suicida
through the ropes onto Evans and Bane. Rico finds his way back inside then soars
spinning over the ropes onto all three opponents! He drags Jay back in for a one count.
Bravo lands a hurricanrana then finds himself on the receiving end of some double-
team damage from Bane and O’Neal as Evans is sent flailing to the outside. Sammie
asks some nearby fans for updates on the in-ring action as he tries to recover and find
his bearings. Just as it appeared to be close to the end for Bravo, a refreshed Evans
returns to the ring to even the odds! Rico and Sammie team up to double attack Colt
and Jay. After they take care of their opponents, Rico and Sammie square off. Bravo
catches Evans with a Sliced Bread #2 for a two count. Colt and Jay clothesline each
other. Rico with the delayed brain buster for the win!
Winner: Rico Bravo via pinfall
Match 3: #1 Contender Troy Carter V. KJ Valentine—During introductions, Carter
takes offense to Kyle Charisma’s announcement of Carter for the match. As the bell
rings to start the match, Troy rolls to the outside. A full minute later the official begins
counting to ten. At eight he rolls back inside. Then rolls back out moments later. Another
minute later the official begins counting again. At nine, he re-enters the ring and locks
up with Valentine. They swap roll up attempts. Carter takes control as he pummels
Valentine. KJ responds with a running kick on Troy in the corner then more kicks to
follow up. Troy counters with a shot to the leg of KJ then doubles down by continuing
the damage to the lower appendages of Valentine. Valentine tries to mount a comeback,
however Carter stifles it quickly. After many failed attempts, Valentine executes a
pectoral twist on Carter and the crowd goes wild! He drops Troy draped over the second
rope. Valentine runs to the other side then sprints towards his opponent. He spins with a
roundhouse kick, knocking Carter backwards towards the center of the ring. As Troy
gets to his feet, he quickly grabs KJ into a German suplex as they both roll outside the
ring. Troy is the first to spring into an attack, yet it's KJ with more kicks that send Troy
scrambling. Valentine lunges towards Carter who moves out of harm’s way as Valentine
slams into the ring pole. Troy rolls him inside the ring. As he prepares another attack,
Valentine utilizes a dropkick sending Carter tangled up in a ball in the corner. As he gets
up, KJ finds another kick then a jumping cutter from the second turnbuckle for a two
count. Troy hits a Michinoku driver for a two and a half count. Carter misses a lariat and
Valentine makes him pay for it with a jumping side kick to the back of his head then a
falcon arrow for a two and three quarters count. A meteora from KJ then a reverse flying
double stomp from the top gets a near fall. Troy finds his opportunity however and drops
KJ with the package piledriver for the victory. After the match, Troy grabs the mic to
share that he finished 2025 undefeated in 12 Gauge and that regardless of who won the
Main Event, he will be waiting.
Winner: #1 Contender Troy Carter via pinfall
Match 4: Eli Riley V. Roxxi Redd (w/ Joey Gambino & Chris Crunkk)—Eli with the
jump on Roxxi as he catches her with a clothesline just as the bell rang. He follows up
with some stomps before sending her into the corner. Two suplexes later he gets a two
count and a roaring set of boos from the crowd. Redd battles back with a couple
elbows, but Riley smashes her back down to the mat. Eli’s next attack misses and Roxxi
fires back with flying clotheslines then a crossbody for a quick two count. Running
clothesline into the corner by Redd as she slides through to the apron in the corner. She
then jumps over the rope to stomp Riley. He counters Roxxi’s offense into a DDT for a
two count. Crunkk and Gambino (along with almost every fan in the building) are
cheering Redd on. Eli hits a superkick into a Codebreaker, however his next maneuver
is countered into a tilt-a-whirl Black Widow submission. Riley has no choice but to TAP!
Winner: Roxxi Redd via submission
Match 5: BK Bennet V. DRP—The long anticipated match up between two up and
coming talents in Bennet and DRP. BK gets the headlock early then a takeover as he
holds on to the cranium vice on DRP. DRP counters into a leg scissors and BK is forced
to kick out. Bennet reverses a DRP attack into an impressive Michanoku Driver for a
near fall. As they get to their feet DRP backs into a corner, but BK hits him with a
running knee and clothesline. He then seems to catch DRP in the eye and in the
confusion executes a lariat then brain buster for a one and a half account. Bennet to the
top rope as he holds DRP in a wrist lock while also walking the top rope. After a few
steps he leaps onto DRP with a crossbody then back to the headlock. DRP is draped
across the top rope by BK who jumps off the top with a smash and gets a two count. BK
pays homage to one of his heroes with a “You Can’t See Me” motion, however as he
approaches the laid out DRP he slaps him across the face! Bennet with the big splash
and suplex then a jumping double stomp that gets a two and three quarters count. BK
has had enough as he drags DRP to the corner. He locks on a figure four leg lock on
DRP as he uses the ring post for extra leverage! The official counts to four and BK
finally breaks the hold. As his opponent is trying to recover BK utilizes a drive by flying
attack on the apron followed by a second rope elbow drop that garners another close
two count. DRP hears the crowd though and fires back with a pair of sling blades and a
northern lights suplex with a bridge to earn a close two count of his own. Bennet gets
control back with a 404 and frog splash for another two count. They trade forearms from
their knees, then chops as they rise to their feet. A series of powerful strikes later lead
to a shining wizard to the back of Bennet’s head. A clothesline then slide through the
ropes to the apron on the corner into a rolling Codebreaker then a flying spike gives
DRP the win! After the match, the two raise one another’s hands in the air out of respect
as DRP walks to the back. BK is being helped up by security when he is attacked by a
hooded figure. It turns out to be a returning Corey James!
Winner: DRP via pinfall
Match 6: Main Event—Walker XIII (C) V. Chris Crunkk (w/ Joey Gambino & Roxxi
Redd)—The two longtime friends square off for the ultimate prize: to hold the 12 Gauge
Pro Wrestling Championship! They lockup with Walker backing Chris into the corner.
Clean break. Then again. Crunkk gets a wristlock then Walker shoves him away. A test
of strength yields a wristlock from Crunkk who decides to try a few shoulder tackles on
his opponent. Neither end in his favor as the bigger Walker is not taken off his feet and
Crunkk is sent flying from the last one. They trade chain wrestling holds until Chris hits a
picture-perfect dropkick, sending Walker to the outside. As he settles on a chair on the
floor to try to recover, Crunkk runs around the ring in an attempt to perform his
trademark drive by attack…but Walker catches him in a chokeslam hold. This leads to
Crunkk being dropped on the apron by Walker. The champ takes control with strikes
then shoulders into the midsection in the corner on his good friend Crunkk. Walker
misses a spear and hits the ring post instead! Chris drops him with a flatliner as he
locks on another armlock while yelling to Walker “quit like Jake Paul”! Crunkk chops the
chest of the monster then starts back working the arm of his opponent even using the
ropes to damage his foe’s appendage. Chris kicks Walker who smashes him in
response. Crunkk drops Walker’s arm over the rope and works to weaken it even more.
As Chris goes to the second rope he is caught by Walker who turns it into a German
suplex. Then a splash in the corner on Crunkk who superkicks Walker almost as a
reflex. Walker with the flying back elbow smash and grabs Chris for a chokeslam. Chris
blocks the attempt as Walker backs into a corner. Crunkk hits him with a flying forearm
then running European uppercut. Another superkick from Crunkk followed by a double
stomp to the back from the top rope. Then a spinning side kick for a two and thirteen
sixteenths count. Crunkk goes back to the top rope, but Walker catches him into a
chokeslam grip again. This time Chris counters into a crippler crossface! Walker
struggles to get free then makes it to the rope for the referee mandated break of the
hold. Both back to their feet to trade strikes and blows back and forth. This turns into a
slap fight, each strike stinging the cheeks of each competitor. Walker gets the upper
hand to lock in a sleeper hold on Crunkk. It’s sunk in deep. Crunkk is struggling to keep
his feet and consciousness. They crash into the official who goes crashing to the
canvas, then rolls outside the ring! As they realize the official is down, they both stagger
to their feet to trade more chops, strikes, forearms and smashes. Crunkk with the
biggest superkick of the match to Walker. Then there’s a commotion across the room.
The entrance curtain dances as a group of four masked, hooded figures emerge. They
march with purpose to the ring. They circle the ring and each choose an apron to stand
on. Crunkk and Walker face off with them. One stares directly into the eyes of the
monster and lowers his face covering to reveal he is…..RYAN MARX?! Walker is irate
and demands he get in the ring so he can smash his returning rival immediately!
Instead, Marx nods to the other three and they all drop off the aprons to the floor with
wide grins on the faces of each. Walker looks puzzled. Before he can try to solve the
mystery, Crunkk gives him a massive low blow! Then he rolls up the monster as the
official slowly rolls back into the ring to count the 1-2-3.
After the match, Joey Gambino stomps over to the hooded group. He shoves a few of
them and says “GET EM” as he points to the ring. The hooded group (along with Joey,
Roxxi Redd and Crunkk) are dismantling the monster! After some time, DRP emerges
from the back to try to help, but the numbers are too much for him as well. Walker is
handcuffed to the second rope as Crunkk takes the mic. He delivers a deep cutting
“pipe bomb” about how he has been the best wrestler for the last two decades, yet has
had to take a backseat to practically everyone. He verbally goes after promoter Rocky
Shaw, who has to be restrained by security, Kyle Charisma, and Tenia Shaw. He calls
out a lot of past and present facts about wrestling in Rome. The crowd chants to
extinguish the fire of his burning statements, but the flames of his words would not be
contained. He tells Walker that he better not show his face in this company again or
else, then lays down the mic and calls for the new power faction to leave the ring.
Winner: (and NEW) 12 Gauge Pro Wrestling Champion Chris Crunkk
Takeaways:
-CJ Montana is impressive. Has size, agility, ability, charisma and is fun to watch.
Zach Dye gave him everything he could, but CJ emerged victorious.
-After a crazy streak of losses, Rico Bravo got a much needed win. He is always
at the top of his game and almost any crowd I have seen him in front of adores
him. Can he take this change in fortune and build it into something bigger? Signs
point to absolutely.
-Troy Carter continued his highlight-filled 2025 by ending the year undefeated
with a win over KJ Valentine. Given the events of the Main Event though, it will be
interesting to see where Troy finds himself to start the new year
