Match 1: Lethal Gainz (Lamar Phillips, Chris Gainz) V. DRP, Ashton Martin --

Winners: DRP, Ashton Martin 

 --Big win for the first time team over the veterans of Lethal Gainz. Phillips and Gainz are one of the best teams in the Southeast and have been for a good while. They work together well and put on a tag clinic every time they’re in the ring. Martin is developing into a solid performer and DRP is so high energy explosive it makes them fun to watch. Maybe we see these four square off again soon. 

Match 2: Sal Rinauro V. “The Misfit” Justin McKenzie 

--Winner: “The Misfit” Justin McKenzie 

 --Sal Rinauro is a national treasure. Between his wrestling skills, his ability to entertain with so many expressions, and his antics that keep the audience always engaged in his matches. Justin McKenzie may be early in his career, however he creates such a buzz for the unique skillset he utilizes. Amazing to see how far he has come so soon. 

Match 3: DeSilva (w John Johnson) V. McKenzie (c—Southeastern Heavyweight) 

--Winner: (And NEW Southeastern Heavyweight Champion) DeSilva w/John Johnson 

-- This match came about just after the previous when JJ and DeSilva called out McKenzie. Justin got so fired up he answered the challenge and said they could have the match right now. Exceptional match where DeSilva’s power and grappling was countered by the quickness and agility of McKenzie. Highly athletic match where the crowd was very upset about the end result. Congratulations to the new champ, DeSilva is a tough night at the office for any competitor, especially when he has a title to defend. 

Match 4: Shane Noles V. Ace Haven w/ Amy Haven (c—PWA Championship/Noles Retirement Match) 

--Winner: Ace Haven w/ Amy Haven 

--Most retirement matches are either last hurrahs or snoozefests. This was neither. Noles brought everything he has always had to try to pry the championship from Ace. Ace did everything in his power to combat Shane’s barrage while firing back with own offensive attacks. After the match, Noles delivered a heartfelt speech then was met in the ring by Billy Knight who offered him the role of Commissioner moving forward (while Jason Boyd stood distraught in the ring with them). 

Match 5: Stevie Ray Frost V. AJ Black (c—PASW Heavyweight Championship) 

 --Winner: (and STILL PASW Heavyweight Champion) AJ Black 

 --Stevie Ray Frost was champion for over a year and a half until a few months back when AJ won. It was on THIS night that it felt more like AJ took the championship from Frost even though Black was the champion to start the match. The ever-dangerous methodical forest dweller dragged AJ deep among the trees yet the champ found a way to persevere. Big island splash from the top helps Black retain the top prize in the company. 

Match 6: Sean Nelson, Zander Whoric, James Boulevard V. Sons Of The Wildside (c—Jacob Ashworth, Zander Seabolt, Mad Man Mayson w/ ) for the Ultimate Tag Team Championships 

 --Winners: (and STILL Ultimate Tag Team Champions) Sons Of The Wildside w/?  --

Nelson and Whoric looked to want to start the match without a third partner before James Boulevard sauntered to the ring berating the crowd with a speech about his “skills”. As good as Nelson and Whoric are, they could not overcome their partner AND one of the most devastating trios in wrestling right now. Just when you may get the slight edge on one, the other two more than make up for it. Post show The Sons said to line up any trio in wrestling and they’ll “knock em down!” 

Match 7: MAIN EVENT—Alexander Lev w/ Eddie Hendrixx V. Joe Black (c—Southern Honor Heavyweight Championship) “Last Man Standing” 

 --Winner: (and NEW Southern Honor Heavyweight Champion) Alexander Lev

 

--For the first time in the entire series of matches this one featured an extra person on the outside in Eddie Hendrix. He accompanied Lev to the ring and by the end of the contest, was the official who counted Joe down for the 10 count. Every one on one they have had tells an incredible story in a different way. These two all but destroyed each other for the better part of twenty minutes and the crowd seemed to be so highly invested that they felt every blow delivered. If you have never seen Joe Black versus Alexander Lev in person, make sure you change that soon.
