2026 Scenic City Invitational presents Night Two.
TWE Arena, Red Bank, TN
July 18th, 2026
Time for Night Two. I was right on half my picks: Paige, Shimbashi, Broner, and Dave.
Scott opens the show, Live on IWTV. Weathers and Newman on commentary. Winners of the next round will face off in a elimination 4-way. All SCI matches will have a 20 minute time limit.
1: Kenzie Paige vs. A-Game Joseph Alexander. Ref Gina.
Paige is my pick to win everything tonight, tough test for her. A-Game offers his hand, Paige slaps it away. Size to A-Game, Paige has to be physical, IMO. She does knock the spit out of him, A-Game tees off on her, gets a near fall. Neither afraid to hit shit. Paige knock A-Game out of the ring and follows it with a dive. Fighting on the floor, then apron.
Kenzie gets caught up top, A-Game with a superplex, Paige tries to turn it into a small package. GTS can’t get Paige down. Paige uses Ref Gia for a step-up cutter, near fall. Strike fest. Exploder suplex followed by a claymore ends Paige. Joseph Alexander advances to the finals. Around 14 minutes.
Well, carp. My pick for overall winner is out.
2: London Lightning vs. Isiah Broner. Ref Kevin.
London trying flippy things and teases Broner, not wise. A chop sends London to his knees. London’s chops have no effect. Broner tosses London to the floor, hits him with a wind-up chop. London sends the steps into Broner’s legs, then throws the leg into the ring post. Chop block after a poke to the eyes. Black Hole slam to London to lead to the double down. Broner landing big moves. Ref bump, Kevin’s knocked up. London grabs a chair and lands across the back of Broner, no effect. London tries an Eddie chair spot, but Kevin’s knocked out still. Broner takes London’s head off with a lariat for the win at 8:37. Advancing to the finals, Isiah Broner. At least one of my picks moves on.
3: Big Dave Weaver vs. Effy. Ref Shiny Shoes.
Let’s see is Dave can move on. Split crowd. Slug fest. Going to the floor, Dave lands an elbow from the apron. Cannon ball from the apron by Effy. Monster moves, nice gut wrench from Effy for a near fall. Double boots leave both men flat on the canvas. Effy with a second rope neck breaker for a near fall. Huluva kick by Effy, Dave with a poewer bomb then a piledriver for a near fall. Spear by Effy, then a surfboard curb stomp, Dave juuuuuust gets the shoulder up. DAve looking for a superplex, Effy kisses his way out, Dave turns it into a sidewalk slam for a near fall. Dave with the lariat for the win at 10:47. Big Dave advances to the finals. Effy gives him a kiss on the way out.
4: Shimbashi vs. Tha Wall, Tyler Stevens. Ref Kevin.
Shimbashi has a huge opstacle here. Another split crowd, Shimbashi has to duck and dodge. He kicks the leg out and gets some offense in. Wall throws him into the back wall then kicks him back into it. Shimbashi trying to fight up, can’t sustane anything. Apron action, Shimbashi lands a cannon ball. Dueling chants. In the ring, backstabber leads to Shimbashi boing up, Wall ducks and head butts him. Shimbashi ducks and applies a boston crab. Shimbashi walks into a sit down choke slam for a very near fall, Shimbashi flying for the macho elbow for a 1-count. Lands another for a 2 count. He goes up for a third, then a fourth, then a fifth, Wall kicks out. Front face lock for Wall and Shimbashi has to tap at 10:25. Tyler Stevens advances to the finals.
5: 6-Person tag match: Davina Thorne, and The Thirst (Ravenna Vein and Kelsey Raegan) vs. Anakin Murphy, Dimitri Alexdrov, and The Poon Dawg, AKA The Poon Patrol.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Poon Dawg has got to the funnest thing I’ve seen in the past several years. This is just going to be fun, seeing the ladies triple team Poon Dawg. The ladies ain’t backing down. Murphy taking the heat for his team, Thorne and Vein are having issues. Shine time, everyone looking good. Red mist misses Murphy, hits Dimitri. Double team by Vein and Raefan on Murphy for the win at 8:26. Thorne wants to celebrate, she got invited to a super kick party. Poon Dawg wants to dance with The Thirst, Raegan teases but Vein spears him. Poon Dawg’s music plays and he dances in the ring, then to the back.
6: Oldman Youngboy vs. Kasey Owens. Ref Shoes.
Youngboy won the 2026 ACTION Futures Men’s Showcase earlier in the day, facing off against the popular home town guy, Owens. Wrestling happens, def different from the previous match. I brought up the name earlier in the day, but Antonio Rocca is being channeled by Youngboy. I’m loving the chain wrestling and submission attempts here. Chicken Wing by Owens gets the win at 5:52. They shake hands afterwards. Outstanding.
2027 SCI dates are July 15th ,16th, and 17th.
7: Night 2 Scramble match. Winner gets an automatic entry for the 2027 SCI: J.A.C., Shean Christopher, Clara Carter, Tyler Franks, OXP, Jameson Shook w/AD Dylan Hales. Ref Jacob
Shean dives on Shook, bad blood happening there. Okay, there will be no way to describe everything, so I’m going to chillax a bit. Hales hits JAC with the knapsack. Heel Shook tonight. Everyone’s reactions to JAC are amazing. Carter with a low blow and JAC’s out of the ring. Shook and Shean fight out of the building. Package pile driver by Carter on Franks wins her the match at 6:48.

Main Event: The Finals of the 2026 SCI: The Wall, Tyler Stevens vs. A-Game Joseph Alexander vs. Isiah Broner vs. Big Dave Weaver. Ref Shiny Shoes.
Gravitas on all the entrances, except Dave’s. Watch it, trust me. There’s a lot of big meaty men that will be slapping meat in this match. The crowd loves everyone. Big fight feel. 4-way with lucha tag rules, elimination match. Dave and Tyler will start. A-Game tags himself in for Dave. Dave tags himself back in. Broner tag out Tyler. Broner and A-game, A-Game’s the small man in this match. Gamesmanship and mind games for the first several minutes. A-game targeting Broner’s leg. Broner is stiff.
Dave out at 10:02, pinned by Broner with a lariat. A-game punching away, a right hand from Broner gives him goosey legs. Wall kicks Broner out of the ring, I think he likes his chances against the smaller man. Action spills to the floor. Over the top rope dive from A-Game. Front face lock by Wall, A-Game is eliminated at 15:07. Final two: Wall and Broner.
Strike fest, landing haymaker elbows. Broner goes for a spear, Wall catches and locks in the front face lock, Broner fighting out of it. Lariat by Broner wins it at 18:19
Your 2026 SCI winner is Isaiah Broner. Previous winner Jameson Shook presents the trophy to Broner, everyone slapping the canvas.
Tank comes out and puts over Scott Hensley. Scott's stepping away from being active in wrestling in October. We will miss you, Scott.
Final thoughts.
All in all, a fun weekend for me.
Might be my last SCI due to neck issues for traveling, we shall see in a year.
The finals match seemed a bit unsure to me at times with the action.
Broner is him.
Loved the Youngboy/Owens match. A total palate cleanser match.
I do want a Poon Dawg shirt the next time it comes out.
At some point, you just have to have fun.
Having 2 of my picks make it to the Finals might be a record for me, will have to check.
I want to see Tyler Stevens against everyone.
It was nice to see Allan Barrie even though he didn't see me.
I almost used his catch phrase in the auction.
My social interactions skills are so out of practice. My apologies to everyone I spoke with.
