2026 ACTION Futures Showcase
TWE Arena, Red Bank, TN
July 18th, 2026.
They have switched things up for this years 2026 Futures. Along with the Men’s, we now have a Women’s Showcase as well. There will be 3 triple threat matches in each showcase; the winners will face off in another triple threat to determine the winner.
The Women’s Showcase for the Sherrie Barnes Medal includes: Corinne Joy, Alexandra Quinn, Vivian Cross, Sigrid, Ravenna Vein, Davina Thorne, Riley Judah, Gwen Neodonna, and Clara Carter.
The Men’s Showcase for the Norko Kipte Medal includes: The OXP, Damon Stryker, Grayson Pierce, Storm Ryder, Oldman Youngboy, Dylan Cole, JB Anderson, Herulon Rage, and Hayden Seal.
The announcements happened very late this year and as I’m writing this preamble at 11am, there have been no announcements regarding who is in each match.
There will be a couple more matches after all first round matches happen.
The Who Wants To Be a Ring Announcer winner, Chole Waid, will be the ring announcer.
Rob Weathers and Jack Solomon will be doing the live tournament matches, Zach Leveillee will join Rob on non-Tournament matches. Matches will be live on IWTV.
Scott Hensley opens and intros Chloe and she also sings the National Anthem
1: Men’s match: Storm Ryder vs. Dylan Cole vs.Oldman Youngboy Ref is Kat.
Cole heeling up on his entrance. Youngboy is very limber, Ryder’s the powerhouse. And he’s got a cool looking mullet. Youngboy wins at 4:07 with a rolling Rocca body scissors on Cole.
2: Women’s match: Davina Thorne vs. Ravenna Vein vs. Gwen Neodonna. Ref Kevin
Vein would be considered one of the favorites to win the showcase, we shall see. Thorne being the spoiled brat, Gwen’s rocking the punk. Gwen also has the height and weight advantage. Everyone trying to steal the win from another. Vein wins with spear on Thorne at 5:06.
3: Men’s match: Herulon Rage vs. JB Anderson vs. Hayden Seal. Ref Jacob.
Big Men Match. Seal and Rage shove at each other before the bell even rings, prior bad blood. I’ve heard of Rage from the SHW reports and have seen Seal before. Anderson I saw on Thursday. Seal and Grayson Pierce have been names mention by some fans as favorites. Seal pins Anderson at 2:46 of non-stop action. I mean that literally, hardly a breather in the match.
4: Women’s match: Clara Carter vs. Riley Judah vs. Sigrid. Ref Kat.
Sigrid has the height and weight advantage. Carter heeling it up. Carter wraps Sigrid’s leg around the ring post, taking her out of action for a few minutes. Ref Kat is very vocal. Carter with a package piledriver on Judah to win at 5:33.
5: Men’s match: Damon Stryker vs. Grayson Pierce vs. The OXP
Stryker’s a heat magnet; he’s also the TWE Gig City champ. Huge pop for OXP. Stryker shows off his hip swivel, OXP a martial arts kick, Pierce kicks both of them in the face. A spot ends up with Ref Kevin doing a double pin on Stryker and Pierce while OXP counts, big pop. Action through the ropes. Finally the TWE pole gets used, stryker sending Pierce into it. Stryker pins OXP at 4:02, either an inadvertant 3-count or OXP didn’t raise the shoulder. Either way, I don’t think what was the ending, it came from nowhere..
6: Women’s match: Corinne Joy vs. Vivian Cross vs. Alexandra Quinn. Ref Jacob.
If Neodonna was punk, Cross is Death Punk. Quinn offers her hand, Joy refuses, but Cross uses the hand to slap Joy. Quinn playing the goody two-shoes, but she’s got a temper. After beating up Quinn, the two heels start fighting each other. Cross takes out both, but can’t pin them. Cross grabs her bat, that doesn’t work out well. Joy steals the win on Quinn after Quinn drops Cross with power bomb.
Men’s final is Stryker, Seal, and Youngboy.
Women’s final is Joy, Carter and Vein.
7: Jack Moody vs. JT Paradox. Ref Kevin.
Moody with the mic, puts himself over and puts down Tennessee by comparing it to Ireland. JT’s hyped. Moody wants a test of strengh, rut roe raggy. Moody out wrestled, but JT’s out muscling. JT getting worked over with submissions. Big lariat from JT gives him an opening. Ref bump lets Moody uses his face mask and pins JT at 8:01.
8: Mixed tag match: Chase Holiday and Joselinen Navarro vs. Mackenzie Morgan and KAsey Owens. Ref Jacob.
Huge pop for Morgan and Owens. Holiday and Owens to start and we start with a chop fest. Owens regrets that and pulls his straps back up. Heel work by Holiday and Navarro on Mckenzie. Hot tag to Owens. Navarro with a straight right hand to end that. Mckenzie trying to chop Holiday down, doesnt’ end well. McK up top wants to splash, Holiday catches her but Owens canon balls into them, allowing Mckenzie to win at 8:15.
9: Men’s Final: Damon Stryker vs. Hayden Seal vs. Oldman Youngboy. Ref Kevin.
Stryker uses the belt on Seal right off the bell, tries on Oldman, no go. No DQ in a triple threat. Oldman tumbles through and applies a single leg crab, Seal gets into the ring to break it up. Have I mention how flexible Youngboy is? Ab strectch on Seal, Seal tips backwards to break it up. Confusing sequence sees Oldman pinning Seal at 5:51.
10: Women’s Final: Corinne Joy vs. Clara Carter vs. Revanna Vein. Ref Kat.
Two heel, one face match up. No team up, though, Vein taken out with an apron power bomb. Carter sees the lap top, and tells me to write down that she’s the winner. Tower of Doom spot with Vein tossing the others. 3-way fight. Cross face on Vein, Joy joins in with a boston crab on vein, leading to Joy and Carter going at each other, several near falls happening between them. This allows Vien to recover and she spears Joy to win it at 10:08.
