Jameson Shook presents Night Zero
July 16, 2026.
TWE Arena, Red Bank, TN
Starting off the SCI weekend with a show I would describe as a hardcore show and looking to end the weekend with a Death Match show in Atlanta with Blood-n-Honey 10. Oh, and regular wrestling with the two nights of the SCI and ACTION Futures Showcase.
9 matches with a ton of stips scheduled: JWM vs Big Dave in a Bull Rope/Boards of Death match, Tank vs. Dimitri Alexandrov in a Fans bring the weapons match, Unsigned and Don’t Care(Anakin Murphy and Gary Jay) vs. Talladega Knights(Tyler Franks and Hunter Drake) in a Chairs, Chairs, and more Chairs match, Saul Wright vs. Izzy Byrum in a No Rope Barbed Wire match, Damon Stryker vs. Kasey Owens in a KO or Submission only match, Davina Thorne vs Ravenna Vein in a Coffin match, Sicko the Clown vs Sean Campbell in a Boot Scootin Death match, a King of the Mountain match featuring … , and finally Jameson Shook vs. Nino Extremo in a Hellevation Deathmatch.
This will be shown live on IWTV with John Mosley and Jack Soloman as the commentators.
Scott Hensley will be the ring announcer. Referees are Kevin Plicker, Shiny Shoes, and Jacob Whitaker.
Shook and Hensley come out to start the show, mixed reaction to Shook for some reason, should have did a catch up on TWE. 3 wrestlers couldn’t make the show, Hendrix, Lee and Campbell. No harm, no foul. 5 mystery entrants for KotM match now.
1: No Rope, Barbed Wire Rope match: Saul Wright vs. Bobcat Izzy Byrum
Former tag team explodes, loads of bad blood happening, barbed wire tables, barbed wire crutch. Ref Whitaker is smart, he’s thick gloves on. Teasing going into the wire early. Wright goes chest first then the crutch to the back. Door set up between apron and coffin, Bobcat gets tossed onto it and breaks. Wright driving a portion of wire into his head. Bobcat gets dumped out right in front of me, wire snaps and wraps around his leg, I and other front row fans get some collateral damage.
The other table set up in the same spot where Izzy got dumped out, I’m moving. Wright gets dumped into the table, twice. Bobcat ties Wright in the rope, Wright pleading forgiveness. Dumb babyface syndrome strikes Bobcat and Wright strikes Bobcat for the win at 10:39.
A brief break to clean up. Kasey Owens and cuts a promo while they do so up. Erhen Wade has drawn his ire and wants a Kumite fight.
2: TWE Gig City match under Kumite rules and is knocked out or tapped out: Kasey Owens vs. Damon Stryker (c).
Owens was getting booed out of the building last year when I was here; new champ chants abound. Stryker wants to use the belt, Owens ducks and goes immediately for submissions. Wade and Cullen run out for a distraction, Stryker uses the belt to knock out Owens at 4:11 Still Gig City Champ: Damon Stryker
Brief break to put up ropes.
3: Fans Bring the Weapons Match: Dimitri Alexandrov vs. Tank w/ The Rev.
The Death Match Jesus vs. The Death Match Godfather. Rev with his signature intro. Sickle fight chant starts as they both have them. Tank uses it on D. All sorts of weapons are being used: Sun lotion bottle wrapped in wire, wet floor sign with thumb tacks on it, Legos, light tube bundle. Both are bleeding now. Hockey stick, a pine cone, a cookie sheet with tacks on it. A foam cooler with forks sticking out of it. A container of salt that gets rubbed into D’s back. Singapore cane, a Pinata filled with legos and tacks. Tank DDT’s D into the foam cooler for a 2 count. Tank gets tossed into a door in the corner. D sets the remains of the door onto Tank and splashes down from the second rope for the win at 10:13.
Tank puts over D for the SCI and his upcoming match against Dr. Redacted for a title.
A brief break to clean shit up.
4: King of the Mountain match. The Match is won when the contract is placed on the clipboard which is hanging about the ring: Rolando Perez and Erhen Wade and Shean Christopher and JT Paradox and Kohnor Martin and Gwen Neodonna and Tha Wall, Tyler Stevens, and Matt Griffin.
Special enforcer is Jaden Neuman, who is in charge of the time out area.
People are actually singing along with Griffin to Creed's music, civilization is doomed. Gwen smashes the guitar onto Griffin's head and everything is right in the world again. Mass hysteria happens. Stevens pins Perez and is eligable, Wade is now eligable, the ladder is broken. Perez wants Wall, that doesn’t go well for him. Student Cullen stole the contract. Kohnor and JT hoss fighting. Shean is now eligible. Dylan Hales comes out and knocks out Shean with the knapsack and hands the contract to Wade and Wade wins the match. No time ‘cause I forgot to start the clock. Wade is now entitled to any match of his choosing at any time. Wade wants a Kumite at TWE 13th anniversary show against Kasey Owens. Aug 28th and 29th.
5: Chairs, Chairs, and Chairs match: Unsigned and Don’t Care (Anakin Murphy and Gary Jay) vs. Talladega Knights (Hunter Drake and Tyler Franks).
All types of chairs, both in and out of the ring, including a throne. Take home a wrestler night, right in front of where I was sitting ( I had moved). Jay lights up Drake’s chest with chops. Murphy’s back is all torn up from a previous match or two. It gets fucked up even more when Drake and Franks back drop him onto a chair with forks sticking up from it. Murphy taking hellacious bumps. Jay gets pinned after taking a chair shot to the head, then a kick to the groin at 10:56.
6: Coffin Match: Ravenna Vein vs. Davina Thorne. Ref Shiny Shoes.
It’s been ages since I’ve seen Vein, she’s looking good. First time seeing Thorne, she didn’t want any part of Vein to start the match. Action on the floor where the coffin is at. Thorne throws powder in Vein’s face. Vein fights out of the coffin. They fight on top of the coffin, Vein spears Thorne on top of the coffin, They are both in the coffin and the lid closes on them both, Vein fight out with some liquid dripping from her lips and closes the lid. Winner at 8:04: Revenna Vien.
7: Boot Scootin Death match: Sicko the Clown w/ ? vs. JB Anderson. Ref Kevin Plinker
It was a very interesting walk out for Sicko, I like it. My first time seeing either man in action. Campbell was supposed to be Sicko’s opponent, but the crowd was very happy with Anderson. Various instruments of pain are scattered around the ring, but actual wrestling starts the match. That doesn’t last past the two minute mark, though. Sicko uses some sort of stick that has sharp objects sticking out of it, Anderson’s bleeding from the forehead. Anderson is using the stick on Sicko’s hand. Sicko has great screams. Anderson focusing on the hand of Sicko, Sicko crawls under the ring. Gusset plate to the head of Sicko. Guess what? He’s bleeding. He’s also insane. Anderson suplexes Sicko onto a chair with tack strips on it. Anderson unloads a box of wood tack strips into the middle of the ring. ? brings out a light tube crucifix, that gets placed onto the pile in the middle. Both men got through it, not sure who got the worst of that. I think Sicko, he’s bleeding in multiple spots on his body, including a nasty gash on his side. Sicko gut wrenches Anderson back onto the pile and pins Anderson at 13:56. Anderson’s bleeding heavily from the head. Sicko’s right hand is mutilated.
Brief break to clean out the ring.
8: Bull Rope and Boards Match: John Wayne Murdoch vs. Big Dave.
Light tubes everywhere. Light tube bundles taped to the turnbuckles, Light tube bundles taped to boards. Light tubes strewn about the ring. And a weedwacker.JWM cuts a promo on the crowd, running them down. The match starts with JWM jawing at the crowd and Dave throwing him into the light tube bundles. I got showered with tube remnants. More corner bundles get smashed and everyone is bleeding in multiple places. Crimson mask for both. I get showered again. There’s a board with steak knives in it, yeouch. Gusset plate board, JWM gets body slammed into it 3 times, 2 count. Dave slams the gusset board onto the back of JWM. light tube bundle to the face of Dave. Another weapon board in the middle of the ring, JWM gets Oklahoma slammed onto it. Bull rope finally gets used. JWM has the wacker, uses it then pile drives Dave onto a light tube bundle board for the win at 9:40.
JWM with the mic, puts over Dave in his first ever death match. JWM faces Mance Warner for the IWTV title Friday night. Dave with the mic, he wants the SCI but he really wants the TWE Championship. Calls out TWE Champ Hunter Drake, Drake comes out and gets in Dave’s face. He’ll put Dave on a leash and dog walk him. They start fighting and the TWE backstage comes out and tries to separate them.
Some mark wins the autographed poster for $300.
Main Event: Hellevation Death Match: Nino Extremo vs. Jameson Shook with the AD Dylan Hales. Ref Plinker.
More light tubes plus a couple of planes of glass. Scaffold set up next to the ring. String of tubes running from one corner to the other side. Light tubes on top of the scaffold; they must have spent loads of money for the tubes. Extremo with a large bandage already on his back. Shook comes out to his face music “Hot to Go” but walks out with Absolute Dick Dylan Hales. Also brings out another plane of glass. And Nino sets up a plane right by me. Lawd. Hales with the mic. What an ass. Nino drop kicks Shook into the pane set up in the opposite corner, then takes out Shook and Hales ringside with a bunch of tubes. Nino goes for a rope jump, but Hales grabs his leg. Nino bleeding from the back. Shook using the strung up tubes on Nino, Nino returns the favor. Shook with some blood streaks on this back. Shook dragging out multiple doors. Shook’s shoulder looks like Big Dave’s face from the earlier match. Hales directs a parade of doors from the back. Some get set up on top of stacked chairs, others on the wall. Shook wants to climb the scaffold, eats some bundles. Both men up top, Nino kicks Hales back into a door.
Popping tubes up top. Nino kicks Shook from the top down onto the table that was stacked on top of the chairs. Nino with croc-a-dilly (think Mr. Iguana) that had tubes tied to it, Shook destroys it. Nino knees several tubes to Shook's face and climbs the scaffold again. Shook meets him up there and superplexs Nino to the mat for a two count. Backstage crew brings a light tube construction, can’t even begin to describe it. Nino sets up two door coffins in the ring, then sets the plane of glass that was in the corner near me and sets it across the door. Whew. Nino and shook back up top of the scaffold, Nino wants to back flip Shook onto it, but Shook stops it and power bombs Nino onto it for a two count. Shook wants more doors, crews obliges. Both men’s backs are shredded.
Shook sets up a two layer door/chair thingie. Both go back up the scaffold, popping more tubes. Nino goes to do a move to toss Shook onto the setup below, slips a bit, Shook grazes the set up enough for Nino to get the pin at 23:47. Nino throws himself onto the rest of the doors to break them.
Nino calls for a mic, puts over Shook and what Shook has done here. Nino wants another match twice as crazy. Shook with the mic. Shook was not a regular wrestling guy, but a CZW guy. He's entering the Tournament of Death, and he’s going to run everyone over.
Final Thoughts.
I literally did not know any of the stips of 8 out of the 9 matches until the day before the show; I would have gone the Gallagher route and brought a personal tarp with me.
They could have lit up a skyscraper with the amount of light tubes that were busted.
I’ll never hear a bowl of Rice Krispies the same way ever again.
I really should have watched some of the previous TWE shows to get a better understanding of some of the back stories. Bad Rob, go to time out.
I did get a couple of nicks on the leg from the barbed wire in the first match. I knew I should have brought jeans with me.
Match quality across the board was darn good, imo. I haven’t seen a bunch of hardcore/deathmatch stuff to really get into it 100%, but a bunch of the crowd would have gladly swallowed all the shards of glass for this.
