Ring Announcer: “Jungle” Jason Boyd 

Match 1: “Showtime” Damon Thomas Vs. “Pretty Boy” AJ Black—Thomas starts with a test of strength that turns into a headlock takeover. Black lands a handful of shoulder tackles. Damon with a stomp choke as he rolls to the apron. From there it’s an up and over rolling senton to a prone AJ. Standing moonsault from Thomas, but Black moves a little to make it a glancing blow. AJ lands an STO as he gets fired up. Variant version of a pedigree from Black leads to the win! 

Takeaway: Solid opener that got the crowd going early. Damon can be a classic heel to really feed off of the old school good guy work of AJ. Maybe these two will face off again in the near future as it seems like the battle is not quite over between them yet. 

 Winner: “Pretty Boy” AJ Black via pinfall. 

Match 2: Tag Team Championship: Air B & B (Rico Bravo & BK Bennet w/ Kyle F’n Charisma) Vs. The Redacted (c—Jay “Alpha” Miller & “Body Snatcher” Hakeem Young) Vs. Lethal Gainz (“Lethal Lariat” Lamar Phillips & Chris Gainz)—Air B & B take out the Redacted then Lethal Gainz take out Air B & B. Small melee breaks out between all teams. Order is restored as Miller is the recipient of a couple double team moves from Bravo and Bennet. BK hits a 404 on Miller while Bravo levels Gainz with a flying clothesline. Bennet and Bravo shift focus to Young with their attacks including a leg sweep/leaping kick off the top rope combo. Hakeem fights back with a buckle bomb to Rico as Miller tags back in. Gainz takes out both members of Redacted. The official is distracted and misses the tag of Rico to BK. Phillips with his textbook, impressive delayed suplex. Miller tags himself back in much to the chagrin of Lamar. Young tags in. He takes a run at the ropes, but gets too close to Gainz who tags himself into the contest. Crisp tags between Lethal Gainz keep the beatdown of Rico going for a bit. Finally, he gets the hot tag to BK who storms into the ring to take on all comers! Another melee breaks out all over the ringside area. BK flies over the ropes onto Gainz and Hakeem. Bennet then hits a top-rope jumping cutter as Rico hits a cutter of his own. In all the action, however Miller gets the blind tag. He throws Rico through the ropes the convers Chris Gainz for the 1-2-3! 

Takeaway: Three really good teams all jammed into a triple threat. The veteran teams of Lethal Gainz found a way into this one and almost snatched the titles. Air B & B had the match all but won except that Miller went into stealth mode to snag the victory. Redacted top the list as best tag team in Georgia for a lot of reasons. It’ll take a top level performance and special team to knock them off. 

Winners: (and STILL New Legacy Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions) The Redacted (Jay “Alpha” Miller & “Body Snatcher” Hakeem Young) 

Match 3: Deon Summers Vs. Eddie Hindrixx—Hindrixx’s power was on display early. Summers battled back with a dropkick, jumping DDT and a splash off the ropes that gets the first two count of the match. Eddie used throws and his weight advantage to control his foe until Deon landed a flatliner and falcon arrow. As the pace picked up between the two combatants, The Redacted hit the ring to take out Summers. They miss the hit on Deon though and smash through Eddie instead, ultimately causing him to win via DQ. Air B & B storm the ring with a chair and bat to chase the Redacted away. Eddie grabs a mic to tell Deon they need to finish this soon, sans the Redacted. Summers agrees. 

Takeaway: This was just starting to take off when the Redacted showed up. Big question is: “Is Eddie Hindrixx part of the Redacted?”. Eddie says he is not, many others point to signs that maybe he is. Hopefully we get clarity soon either way. 

Winner: Eddie Hindrixx via Disqualification. 

Match 4: Zander Whoric Vs. Christian Taylor (Hardcore Match)—Each brought trash cans, lids and other weapons to the ring or snatched them from under the ring before the bell. Once it rang, the real fight began! They used chairs on the outside of the ring, traded kendo stick strikes then Whoric hits a super flying dropkick from the top. Taylor slams a trash can on the cranium of his opponent. Big kick from Christian then a rear naked choke on Zander. He sets Whoric up seated in the corner, shoving a trash can across his body. Taylor to the adjacent top rope to deliver a coast to coast! Somehow Zander finds a break in the carnage to deliver an around the world DDT only to get a two count before Christian kicks out. Whoric spears Taylor through a door set up in the corner! Then he grabs Taylor in a big neck breaker. Two sets of two chairs are set up in a square with a second door perched on them. Christian leaps off the top rope to crash onto Zander who was laying prone on the door. They crash to the canvas where Taylor gets the win! 

Takeaway: Christian Taylor has so many ways to get the job done and almost always does just that. A top contender anywhere he goes. He is either the champion or one of the top threats everywhere. That being said, Zander showed he can take everything a top contender has and that he can give it back to them as well. Fun match to witness where it felt like the fans rallied behind Zander a little more. 

Winner: Christian Taylor via pinfall. 

Match 5: Josh Storm Vs. Mother Frost (c-New Legacy Heavyweight Championship)—Storm with a Thesz press out of the gate, pummeling the champ with a barrage of punches. Back on their feet he executes a spinning elbow, then another. He lifts Frost into a reverse Tree of Woe in the corner. Josh dashes towards Frost to deliver jumping knees to the back. Frost finds his bearings to unleash soul-stealing CHOPS to the challenger that echoed off the arena walls. Storm answers with some devastating ones in return. Frost with the big slam and elbow drop for a two count from the official. Now it’s Mother’s turn to control the pace of the action. He delivers a headbutt then big slam while following it with a cover of Josh with just one foot accompanied by a pose. He got a couple two counts. Powerbomb from Frost, Storm fires back with a hurricanrana and super kick. They trade smashing strikes until both stagger back. Josh goes for a quick pin only to get another two count. Frost springs up to grab Storm for the Sister Abigail swinging flatliner for a very near fall. The official is knocked down. Frost decides it’s a good time to show his trademark antlers to his competitor, but AJ Black emerges and steals them away first. Storm with a low blow the locks on the Sharpshooter. As the official comes to, Frost decides discretion is the better part of valor and taps the mat to live to fight another day. Josh Storm is your new champion! 

Takeaway: Wow. This one was intense and could have went either way. Storm proved he still has top guy abilities and Frost showed that you need your “A” game to have any sort of chance to defeat him. At some point these two will lock horns again and it may be even better. 

Winner: (and NEW New Legacy Heavyweight Champion) Josh Storm via submission. 

Match 6—Main Event: The Rumble in West Georgia—AJ Black and Eddie Hindrixx start the contest with a test of strength. Next out is BK Bennet. He leaps off the top onto Hindrixx with a big kick. BK and AJ work over Eddie as the “Lethal Lariat” Lamar Phillips struts to the ring. Hindrixx showcases his power by tossing Black and Bennet around. Eddie and Lamar face off before trading a stalemate of shoulder blocks where neither leave there feet after the blows. Our next is Hakeem Young who low blows Hindrixx opening the door for Lamar and others to join the beat down. Jay “Alpha” Miller joins the fight. He and partner Young choke BK as Damon Thomas appears. He performs a handspring back elbow then gets CHOPPED hard by Phillips who then chokes him. Bennet gets some help just at the right time as his partner Rico Bravo now joins the fracas. Then Jay Tyler runs into the fray. Air B & B go toe to toe with The Redacted for a small time then Bennet and Bravo eliminate first Hakeem then Miller! Fresh off his hardcore victory Christian Taylor is the next combatant. Lamar clotheslines Hindrixx over the ropes to eliminate him. Joey Idol joins the match. “Showtime” Damon Thomas is eliminated. BK throws his second Jay (Tyler) out of the ring. Frankie Valentine spends zero time entering the match and all his efforts in finding Lamar Phillips as West Georgia’s craziest war is reignited! They self-eliminate each other as they fight all the way across the arena and into the back! Taylor finds his chance to send Rico to the back and does. Chris Gainz enters the Rumble. Then Deon Summers. Chris uses Summers water gun on many competitors (and fans). Zander Whoric is the next competitor to enter. Summers gets tossed over the rope but lands on his personal camera guy to star in the match! Almost directly as he re-enters his is eliminated for good this time. Gainz is eliminated. Zander finds himself on the apron where Taylor violently sends him into the front row. Christian Taylor wins and is your NEW #1 Contender for the Heavyweight Title! 

Takeaway: I enjoyed how classic, yet complex this Rumble was. Everybody put in great work and many stories were blended all throughout without it being too chaotic to follow. Storm may have won a huge match for the title, however now he has to keep his head on a swivel with Christian Taylor being the next contender. Really great, fun show. 

Winner: (and NEW #1 Contender) Christian Taylor.
