Match 1: Spider Lady (w/ Cowboy Johnny Brown) Vs. Tsu Nami (c—Women’s Champion)—Bell rings and Cowboy gets the attention of the champ so Spider Lady can get the jump on her. Spider works over Tsu Nami in the corner with powerful strikes and kicks. Tsu Nami fights back with piercing chops to the chest of the thorax of the Spider. Spider spins an oncoming attack into a sling blade that gets an early two count. Spider uses a neck crank to weaken her foe. As she distracts the official, it’s Cowboy’s turn to bend the rules to his liking by pulling Tsu Nami across the middle rope. As she recovers, Spider executes an STO that gets another near fall. Tsu Nami would not be denied however as she scoops up the Spider into the Tree of Woe in the corner. This sets up a thunderous running dropkick to the abdomen of the Spider. The Spider ties up Tsu Nami in a submission, but the champion grabs the rope for relief. The official counts to five yet the Spider does not release the hold and is disqualified!
Takeaway: To be such an unknown to the fans at the show, Spider Lady held her own against the veteran Tsu Nami. Just as Tsu Nami regained the upper hand, the exploits of Cowboy Johnny Brown and Spider Lady made sure to make their intent known of taking out the Women’s Champion. Clearly Tsu Nami and the Spider Lady’s business is far from settled as the two should cross paths again very soon.
Winner: (And STILL Women’s Champion) Tsu Nami via Disqualification.
Match 2: Johnny Swinger Vs. Frankie Valentine (w/ Tweety)—After some posturing, Swinger grabs a deep wrist lock on Valentine. Frankie reverses, then Johnny, then Frankie again before Johnny catches the ropes for the clean break. They go for a test of strength which turns into a Swinger hand stomp on Valentine. Johhny works over Frankie in the corner then sends him hard into the buckles. Valentine fights back with wicked chops, Swinger dumps him to the outside then into a ring post. Johnny with a sleeper hold then the two trade a barrage of punches. Back inside it’s Frankie with the mounted ten punches in the corner, but Johnny dumps him outside again. They brawl all over ringside as the official reaches his ten count. It’s a double count-out!
Takeaway: This was a great classic battle even in the short time they had. General Manager Scott East promised both that if they still wanted to fight each other, there would be another time in the near future for them to settle things. Both competitors really had the crowd into this match which should help build into the next chapter when that arises.
No winner as both competitors were counted out simultaneously.
Match 3: CJ Gallows, Doc Gallows, Mike Knox Vs. John Skyler, Justin Ramey, AJ Black—A melee breaks out at the start with each pairing off to brawl with a different opponent. As the action breaks down, CJ and Skyler start the match for their teams. Skyler gets the upper hand early and tags Ramey. Knox in to deliver some brutal tackles that cause Ramey to tag Black. Skyler gets the tag for some strikes and slams then Ramey tags back in as they team up to deliver more damage to CJ. Skyler drops a vicious leg drop followed by a deep rear chin lock. They lay one another out. Hot tags to Doc Gallows and Ramey. The elder Gallows with big kick attacks then he and Knox double back suplex Justin. As another melee breaks out, the ring clears except for Knox and Doc who perform a double chokeslam on Ramey that seemed to peak in the rafters! They make the cover for the 1-2-3! Takeaway: It was a real treat to see the OG members of the “Aces & 8s” faction (Doc & Knox) team up again. Adding in CJ as the youngblood of the group only accented the dominance that squad can have when linked up on the same side. Hat tip to Justin Ramey who took so much damage in the match from them. Skyler’s heel tactics are still top notch and Black got a small chance to showcase his abilities as well.
Winners: CJ Gallows, Mike Knox & Doc Gallows via pinfall.
Match 4: JC Pain (w/ Cowboy Johnny Brown & Elrod Campbell) Vs. Zero Vs. Shawn Clark—Pain gets dumped to the floor by Clark and Zero. This allows Clark and Zero to face off where Clark had the power advantage while Zero implemented a more cerebral game plan to take down the bigger foe. Elrod and Cowboy were up to their usual shenanigans on the outside. Elrod went back and forth with members of the crowd a few times in some funny exchanges. Pain splashes Clark in the corner, then Clark takes Pain down with a slam. Shawn then slide clotheslines Zero, then he executes a fairly long delayed suplex that had Zero reeling. JC finds the opportunity to perform a running springboard splash out of the corner onto a prone Clark for a two count. Pain’s second splash misses and he appears to have hurt his leg on the attempt. Shawn rolls to the outside to escape the attack but is met with a Tope’ Suicida by Zero. JC eases back between the ropes and is met by a jump kick from Zero who gets a one count as JC grabs the ropes. All three trades strikes with Pain getting the worst of it. Finally, Clark grabs Zero up for the package piledriver and the victory!
Takeaway: JC Pain was still favoring possibly his knee for the rest of the evening. Zero does so many small things during a match which may get overlooked by the casual fan, yet add so much to a match. He should have been the odd superstar out with both opponents much bigger than him however, he made sure he stayed with his game plan and almost got the win. Shawn Clark is super strong and has a presence in the ring that really gets the fans behind him big time.
Winner: “Strongman” Shawn Clark via pinfall.

Match 6—Main Event: Elrod Campbell (C—Heavyweight Champion w/ JC Pain, Cowboy Johnny Brown) Vs. Sean Nelson (w/ Shawn Clark)—This grudge match starts with Scott East reminding us all that JC Pain and Shawn Clark MUST be handcuffed together for the entirety of the match to prevent Pain from interfering again. Once the action begins, Elrod and Sean trade shoulder tackles with similar effects on their foes. Campbell’s digits find the orbital socket of Nelson. Campbell uses this advantage to suplex and unsuspecting Nelson, then uses a standing spinebuster to level the Southern Outlaw. Cowboy gets a little too close to the action, but the official catches none of it. Elrod with a powerful clothesline, however Sean fights back to work over the champ’s arm for a bit. Campbell goes low on a strike then smashes Clark with a chair as Pain finds a key to get loose from the cuffs. Elrod slams the chair on the mat then throws it to Sean who catches it just as Elrod takes a dive. The official turns to see the aftermath and calls for the bell! Scott East saw enough and races to the ring to explain to the official what happened and to restart the match! Once restarted, Campbell tries to use his weapon on Nelson again but misses and it ricochets off the ropes back into his head instead. Nelson with the twisting slam for the win!
Takeaway: Sean Nelson wins another championship in what has become quite a solid career for him. He has a long history with Campbell who takes off his boots in the ring and announces his retirement from wrestling. Elrod grabs the mic and explains what it all has meant to him over all the years including knowing somebody as great as Nelson. They exchange many compliments and pleasantries before Elrod thanks everybody for everything then heads for the locker room as Sean celebrates his win with the fans.
