Caribbean Wrestling Federation was an indy promotion located in Ponce that ran from 2009-2014. Many of their events. like  the soon to be returning Revolution Wrestling Entertainment and New Wrestling Gladiators. took place at "La Perla del Sur"(The Pearl of the South of the Island).

The promotion featured not only talent that was well known in Puerto Rico but also brought in wrestlers from Georgia, Florida, New York and New Jersey, including WWC World Television Champion Zcion RT1, La Varoneza, Jovan, Indio Chief Jay Storm, Los Perros de la Muerte, Kayla Joine, The Mighty Ursus, "El Rey del Teque-Teque" Crazy Louis, The Crazy Heroes, Tanu, Los Judas Melendez and many more. CWF's legacy still lives on. Here are some of the matches that made history in the promotion's short lived existence including interviews and highlights of their Second Anniversary show in 2011. The next edition of my column will include the top four matches from the show.

   

SWT member Southeastern Wrestling Association proudly presents Vengeance a benefit for Ann Causey.  from the Pavo Peacock Center 2061 West McDonald St. in Pavo on Saturday, August 21. Lajas' John Wrestling Promotion, who recently entered a working relationship with CWA will have "Clase Aparte" (Class Apart) from the Cancha Bajo Techo Tomas Gallardo del Barrio Guama in San German. Three matches just announced: Jorge Castillo and Nexen vs. CWA President Joe Colon and Yoma, "La Guerrera" Amazona defends the JWP Women's World Championship against Kayla Joine and by the order of the JWP President "El Rudo de los Rudos" Axel Cruz, Ryan Rett defends the JWP Intercontinental Championship against a mystery opponent

CWA will have Summer Mayhem on August 25 at 8:00 PM through their YouTube channel. The first announced advertised by the order of CWA President: Joe Colon Nexen vs. Yoma. if Nexen loses he is out of CWA, if Yoma loses, he will no longer be a part of Redencion.

Bell time is 8 pm.
