From Rob Brodhecker:
It’s been since the Thanksgiving show that I was last at PCW. What a difference a couple of months can make at a building. Gone are the church pews, they have folding chairs now. The ring has moved position as well, giving room for more seats on all four sides of the ring. The pre-show music playlist is a banger.
PCW Head Muckity Muck, Matt Hankins opens the show with an explanation about the rules for the main event between Najasism and ButcHer (each wrestler will have 5 “Allies” and can call on them at anytime for 30 seconds. After that, the ally is finished and must leave. Hankins will make sure that they will leave) and that there will be a PCW Champion crowned tonight: Brian Blaze and Lamar Diggs with two yet to be named competitors. Tag Team Season will start tonight, I believe that the winning team gets 2 points still.
Johnny Danger and The Carpenter (welcome back) will be your commentators. Nathaniel Spivey, Jynnyfyr Wynn, and Darryl Hall are the referees for tonight’s show. I counted the crowd at 45. Weather may have played apart of that.
1st match: Dynamic Dexter vs. Hunter James (1/2 of both Anarchy and SFCW Tag champions)
Dexter comes out spraying the crowd with bubbles, the kids love that. James is in the Program heel mode tonight. James reminds Hankins that he’s also the NCW Jr. Heavyweight champion as well. James says that Dexter’s a 5 y/o. HMB Hanson makes an appearance but retreats to the back. James uses some bandanas to choke Dexter. Unicorn and horse jokes prance around. ButcHer comes to the ring and grabs Dexter and yanks him out of the ring and to the back. James wins via count out at 4:51.
2nd match: Skrilla the Great with (Brian Blaze) vs. Parker Li.
Hankins announces that the winner of this match will be the #1 contender for the Dealer’s Choice championship held by Bryce Cannon. This should be an up-tempo match and it is with some mat grappling tossed in. Blaze trips up Li to give Skrilla the advantage and he grounds away at Li’s leg. Skrilla with an interesting take with a single leg lock/pin attempt. Li trying to punch his way into the match and both men are down on the canvas. Li has a great looking drop kick; Skrilla retreats out of the ring and Li splashes down on both Skrilla and Blaze. Li tries to slam Skrilla; Skrilla grabs the ropes to cause him to fall onto Li and Blaze holds onto the leg while Ref Wynn slaps the canvas three times at 8:18.
Hankins address Blaze about the title match tonight with Lamar Diggs and adds Parker Li to the match as well. And then adds in ERC in for good measure.
Najasism Promo: He announces his 5 team mates: The Washington Bullets (Jon and Trey Williams), Cedric Tyrell, Eddie Honcho, and the 5th person will be a surprise.
3rd match: The War Horses vs. The Cabezas Dynasty (Cuatro and his son, El Hijo de Cuatro).
PCW’s tag team season kicks out the Mexican version of the War Horses coming to the ring, looking, and acting, slightly inebriated. The younger Cabezas just murdered a war horse with a wicked suplex. The Cabezas Dynasty wins at 3:04 and have two points. That was very perverse match.
4th match for the PCW Championship: Fatal 4-way: ERC vs. Brian Blaze vs. Parker Li vs. Lamar Diggs.
ERC is getting cheered?!?!?! What the hell have I missed? Li is still selling the leg from earlier in the night. Diggs and Blaze face off and ignore ERC. Li smartly stays out of the way. Diggs shoulder tackles everyone and goes for Blaze. ERC joins in and Diggs shoves them off. Blaze wants an alliance with ERC and Li. ERC and Li attack Diggs, Diggs double suplex them. ERC clips the leg of Diggs. Li uses the back of Diggs to drop-kick ERC and Blaze. Li’s not sure who he wants to attack, ERC decides for him. Blaze yanks Diggs out of the ring, ERC yanks Li out as well. Blaze and ERC slam a chair on Diggs’ leg, yeouch!. ERC and Blaze then target Li’s leg, Li’s in a world of hurt. Diggs can’t stand on his feet, Blaze makes sure he stays down. ERC and Blaze fall out and throw haymakers at each other. Li and Diggs fire back up , knock ERC and Blaze down, and almost have a double pin. Diggs plants Li with a Samoan drop, ERC takes out Diggs, Blaze takes out ERC. Li tries to take advantage, Skrilla comes out and hot shots him. All for men have a ring around the rosy punch fest. Blaze DDTs Diggs, ERC hits a flying elbow, Li hits a moonsault and goes for the cover. Blaze pulls Li off of Diggs and plants Li with a package piledriver for the win at 14:35. New PCW Champion: Brian Blaze.
Skrilla and Blaze celebrate in the ring while ERC attacks Diggs’s leg with a chair. Intermission.
5th match: Hawk Thomas vs. Frankie Filto
Thomas disrespects Frankie, Frankie drop kicks him. Thomas is throwing Frankie around the ring. Filto can’t get much in on the big man and Thomas spears him out of his boots and picks up the win at 4:34.
Main Event: Allied Assault: ButcHer with Nathaniel Vanderbilt, Rose Gold, Dynamic Dexter, and Oleander the Flower Girl vs. Najasism with Cedric Tyrell, Eddie Honcho, The Creeps (Irving West and Andey Ripley)
Butcher claims that he ran off the Bullets and only needs Dexter, Gold and Vanderbilt. The Creeps are replacements for Naja. Butcher goes for a running kick off the bell, Naja dodges and wraps Butcher up in a submission. Dexter runs in and attacks Naja. Naja levels Dexter and Dexter is out. Butcher attacks Naja from behind. Tope by Naja, perfect dive. Butcher lands on Tyrell and Tyrell attacks Butcher. They double team Butcher for a near fall. Tyrell is out now. West is up on the apron holding the kendo stick. The Creeps betray Naja, West is ejected by Hankins, Ripley sits with Gold and Bilt. Naja only has Honcho to help. Ripley attacks Naja, saving Butcher. Butcher has Naja in the widows peak and drops him. Hankins brings out HMB Hanson to aid Naja. Hanson drops Butcher, allowing Naja to get the macho elbow drop. Butcher kicks Hall’s hand, preventing the three count. Hankins is yelling at Carpenter saying that Carpenter created Butcher. Carpenter gets in the ring and attacks Butcher; Butcher barely kicks out. Naja and Butcher are on the ramp stage and Butcher slams Naja into the wall. Naja grabs one of the lights and hits Butcher in the head and then hurricanranas Butcher off the ramp. Rose Gold in the ring, she stomps away at Naja. Gold is out and Honcho is in; he stink faces Butcher. Split legged moonsault on Butcher by Naja, Butcher kicks out, the crowd is stunned. Naja has no more allies left. Butcher grabs the kendo stick and hits Hankins with it. Vanderbilt in: he goes to attack Naja, Naja sends him into Butcher, which knocks Butcher out of the ring. Naja plants Vanderbilt. Hankins hits Butcher with the kendo stick. Naja hits the 450 splash for the win at 16:16. A whole lot of everything in this match. Need to watch it again, because I know I missed things.
Naja stands tall in the ring with Cedric and HMB and Honcho.
PCW will be back in two weeks, March 25th.
