From Larry Goodman:
I've enjoyed all of the RIPW shows. Addicted To Chaos was my favorite so far.
Innovative wrestling is one of the RIPW's calling cards and the overall quality was better this time around. I'm a fan of Renegade Enforcer's matchmaking. The storytelling is getting progressively bettter.
Attendance at Cagez Sports Hall was a healthy 101. Darryl Hall and Dana Goodman were the refs. Ayla Fox was the ring announcer. Production by Dee Munny. Sound by DJ Hut.
Don Miguel was on commentary with Renegade, Nikki Heat and Blak Jak Mak rotating in on color. I liked Miguel and Blak Jak Mak's flow during the tag match.
Renegade Enforcer opened the show saying "What a good feeling it is to be alive." Renegade said the bullets were still lodged in his body and he would be out of action for 6-12 months. Out came AWOL with his arm in a sling. AWOL claimed he had also been shot, the difference was he was fighting through it. AWOL made a comment about "you people shooting each other". A host of wrestlers surrounded the ring. Blak Jak Mak jumped in the ring and started pounding on AWOL leading to...
(1) In an impromptu lumberjack match, Blak Jak Mak defeated AWOL by count out in 9:04. AWOL was getting his ass beat by BJM but did get a share of offense in. AWOL got dumped out the lumberjacks. BJM went for a dive. He landed on the lumberjacks as AWOL got out of the way and ran out the front door with BJM giving chase. Miguel said it shouldn't been hard to spot a white guy in the middle of Campbellton Road.
(2) Eric Silva (with Tyreke) defeated Cole Chrome in 8:53. The veteran Silva took Chrome took school, avoided the doom of the dome and pinned Chrome with Collateral Damage.
(3) Spectre defeated SP The Ghost in the Halloween Hell Match (Ode to H.P. Lovecraft) (8:58). More wrestling than one would expect from a weapons match, not that there's anything wrong with that. Spectre consulted the Necronomicon and tried to choke Ghost out with Cthulhu. They never did fire up that chainsaw...Spectre won with Screamarana (powerbomb onto the knees).
(4) Dark Passion (Neiji Ichiban & Dante Darko) defeated Top Team (Keelin Cole & Mr. Danger in 10:44. Balls to the wall but a lot cleaner in the execution than I've seen from these guy especially Dark Passion. Danger's falcon arrow on Ichiban was psychotic. Cole launched Danger off his shoulders into a Destroyer on Darko. Danger covered. Left Hand Path got involved. Tyreke did pushups on the pile. Somehow not a DQ. Silva hit Collateral Damage on Danger behind the ref's back and Ichiban pinned him. Blak Jak Mak said "A Dub is a Dub".
What's Next for Rose Gold? Answer: Saraya Saber and she's pissed about being ignored by the state of Georgia and on November 24 she was putting Rose down except Saraya decided not to wait and decked Gold on the spot.
(5) Jose Manuel vs. Shoota Gabe was ruled a double count out at 15:46. Gabe speared Manuel off the apron through two bridged boards to end a violent confrontation between brothers with momma and their A4 brethren looking on. Nikki Heat on commentary definitely added color.
(6) Rico Gonzalez (with Mr. Sexxy) defeated the debuting Najasism (with Nate Mansions) in 12:35. Naja and Mansions have developed a great act. Nice chemistry between Sexxy and Rico as well. Naja and Sexxy got into a battle of gyrating hips. Rico was despicable. Match was a cut above the rest for execution. As Naja walked the ropes for his finisher. Mansions got into it with Sexxy, inadvertently nutting Naja on the top rope. Gonzalez hit the top rope double stomp to the apron on Naja. As Mansions argued with the ref, Sexxy punted Naja in the groin and Rico rolled Naja up using the tights. I want to see the tag match.
(7) Eddie Hindrixx defeated Zicky Dice in 8:04. Dice replaced Austin Towers due to unforeseen circumstances. He gave the crowd and Hindrixx a run for their money and got as much heat as anybody except AWOL. A woman in the front row sassed him but good. Hindrixx won with a pumphandle powerbomb but a blind man could have seen Dice's foot on the ropes.
(8) Terry Yaki defeated the debuting Stunt Marshall and DJ Smoke to retain the Southeastern Openweight Championship in 8:20. A sprint with all three looking great. Marshall interjected himself into the match and leaned heel. Mostly one-on-one with the odd man out selling. Smoke's opening one-one-one with Yaki to open might have been the best 60 seconds of his career. For the finish: Marshall hit an X plex on Yaki. Smoke broke up the pin with a frog splash and gave Marshall a release german. Yaki cut off Smoke's dive with Little Dipper DDT on the apron, flowed into an Asai moonsault on Marshall and pinned Smoke with the Big Dipper DDT off the ropes. Yaki rules at RIPW.
