From Jeremy "The Impact" York:
Premier All-Star’s “Surge” event kicked off from their “homebase” of the Callaway Livestock Pavillion in Buchanan with a BANG and the hits just kept coming all night long! (Editor's note: attendance reported to be around 180)
Ring Announcer/General Manager—Jason Boyd Officials: Stan Robinson, Al Berry, Butterbean
Match 1: AJ Black Vs. Mad Man Mayson (Match Not Sanctioned By PASW)—This
one started before Jason Boyd could even get all the welcoming and early
announcements out! AJ comes out and demands the microphone to say to Mayson he
is ready for this NOW! You do not have to invite Mad Man to a fight so he happily
charges out and our opening contest is under way! AJ gets some good shots in on
Mayson then it’s the big man’s turn to beat down his foe. Unleashing thundering blows
to the back of Black, Mad Man is in control on the outside of the ring. He hoists up AJ
for a shattering suplex on the floor. Finally in the ring, Mad Man sends AJ into the corner
while following up with side hip splash. AJ falls across the second rope afterwards and
Mayson builds up speed off the ropes for a flying back elbow to the back of Black’s
neck. When Mad Man puts Black in an excruciating submission, it’s fan-favorite the
“Southern Outlaw” Sean Nelson who approaches the ring. He looks at his friend AJ in
distress and chucks a white towel into the ring. When the referee sees it and looks at
him, he motions to Black and the official calls for the bell! This only seems to enrage
Mayson. As AJ slowly gets to his feet, Mad Man charges at him with a lariat to take him
off his feet once more.
Winner: Mad Man Mayson via referee stoppage
Match 2: Ayden Andrews Vs. Justin McKenzie—A highly anticipated match up pitting
two fairly newcomers to Premier both looking to get their first win in the company. We
start off with a headlock from McKenzie with Andrews trying to back suplex him to break
the hold. Justin hangs on though preventing the hold from being broken. Finally, it’s
McKenzie who takes Andrews over to the ground, keeping his grip tight on the cranium
of his opponent. Once Ayden does break free he is met with multiple arm drags that
send him scrambling to the outside. Justin wastes no time in following him out via a
tope’ suicida! He slides back in the ring to deliver a second dive only to be met by a
jumping kick from Andrews. Back outside AA throws Justin powerbomb style into the
ring post back first. McKenzie tries to battle back, but it’s Ayden with some knife-edge
chops then he stifles McKenzie with a forearm smash. Ayden goes for an Attitude
Adjuster, Justin counters with a step-up enziguri. Andrews sends McKenzie hard into
the buckle, followed by a powerbomb. Then AA gets ran into the buckle hard by Justin
who then slides to the apron. It’s up and over for JM grabbing AA for the DDT on the
way into the ring! He yells out “Sliced Bread” while grabbing Ayden to set it up. He
drags Andres towards the corner while running up the turnbuckles for the Sliced Bread
#2 maneuver, but Ayden rolls through and gets the pin instead!
Winner: Ayden Andrews via pinfall
Match 3: Michael Stevens Vs. Ashton Martin—Wristlock from Stevens to begin the
contest. Ashton reverses it only to have Stevens try to get an errant eye lash out from
the retina of Ashton. Then a foot stomp from Michael. Martin gathers himself and drops
Stevens with a shoulder tackle then takes him on a tour of the buckles to smash
Michael’s face into each one to the delight of the crowd. Ashton gets a one count on
Stevens. Stevens finds his bearings and takes over control of the match. He crosses
Martin’s arms across his chest for a submission attempt. Martin recovers then attempts
a splash in the corner that misses, two count for Stevens. Michael with a picture-perfect
knee drop. Martin again regains his feet, executes a handful of clotheslines to Stevens
then a splash in the corner while finishing the flurry of moves with a blue thunder bomb
for a two and a half count. As they get back up Martin tries a roll up for another two
count. Stevens runs at Ashton who is leaned on the ropes but rolls away at the last
second sending Stevens into the ropes in a not so great way. As Michael rolls off the
ropes, Martin leaps from the top with a frog splash for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Ashton Martin via pinfall.
Match 4: Alexander Lev Vs. Jacob Ashworth (c—Georgia Heritage
Championship)—Two popular juggernauts squaring off for the Georgia Heritage Title!
They shake hands and the action commences as it’s Ashworth with the quick wristlock
that leads to a shoulder tackle from Jacob. Lev answers with a jumping shoulder tackle
of his own. Ashworth with another headlock then shoulder tackle. Lev catches Jacob
with a devastating backbreaker then a suplex. Ten punches while mounted in the corner
for Lev, Jacob recovers with a clothesline in the corner on Alexander. Lev gets a
clothesline on Jacob in return. Ashworth delivers some shoulders to the midsection of
Lev while jeering at some fans at ringside. Lev really taking some damage from the
champ. Massive powerslam from Jacob garners a two count. Big slam and a swinging
elbow drop result in another two count for Ashworth. Lev mounts a comeback with a
running clothesline, then a handful more clotheslines that do not take Jacob off his feet
and seem to power him up. Then both hit opposite ropes and it’s Lev with the step-
through STO to take down Ashworth! Two count for the challenger. Alexander puts
Jacob in a fireman’s carry, then drops him onto his knee with a crushing neckbreaker for
a two and forty-seven sixty-fourths count. Jacob gets a big slam and another close fall
on his opponent. Ashworth gains bigger momentum to put Lev in a STF submission,
where the challenger almost tapped…but found the ropes instead for the break. Jacob
does not wait for Alexander to get up. Instead pulls him up for a short-arm clothesline.
Just as Ashworth thinks he has the win in hand, Lev lands a running DDT for the win!
Winner: (and NEW Georgia Heritage Champion) Alexander Lev via pinfall
Match 5: The Wonderboyz (Aaron & Ethan Dallas), Simon Sermon Vs. Lethal
Gainz (Lamar Phillips, Chris Gainz w/Richard Page), Mystery Partner (c-6 Man Tag Team Chmapionships)—Fans and especially GM Jason Boyd realize the obvious simultaneously: Ryan Marx is missing from ringside. As Richard Page and Boyd exchange verbal jabs it’s Jason who has the solution: the titles WILL be on the line and since Lethal Gainz need a partner he has one ready for them. As he looks towards the entranceway we hear the familiar music of….Zander Whoric?! Lamar Phillips is beside himself to see his new “partner” for the night is his LEAST favorite referee ever! It takes all Gainz can do to calm his stablemate down so they can begin the match. We get down to business with Simon Sermon and Chris Gainz. Sermon with the BIG back body drop on Gainz followed by the trademark pie-face in the corner! Phillips charges in and gets dropped in the adjacent corner and gets a Simon pie-face for his efforts as well! Zander tags in and looks to even his teams standings in the match. He looks at Simon…and hit the deck! Simon covers him quickly for a 1-2…Gainz breaks up the pin. Phillips, Gainz and Page ask Whoric what that was about to which he says “my bad” and the match continues. This time Sermon pokes Zander in the chest and he hits the deck again! Simon on top for the 1-2-…almost fall as Phillips breaks it up. He’s had enough! He picks up Whoric and deposits him over the ropes to the apron while instructing him to “stay there”. Aaron Dallas and Gainz enter the ring. Headlock by Aaron, Gainz breaks free and eats a couple shoulder tackles then some hip tosses. Chris finds his feet and slams the elder Dallas brother into the rock hard bicep of tag partner Phillips. Lamar now in to crush A-Aron with bigtime pummeling including a headbutt to the lower lumbar region of Dallas. Gainz tags in so he and Phillips can perform the high five ear pop on Aaron for a two count. Aaron battles back however and gets the upperhand on Phillips. Ethan Dallas gets the tag from his brother as Lamar finds Chris for the same. Ethan flies around the ring with slingblades and more to take down his foes. Tilt-a-whirl DDT on Gainz by Ethan and the crowd roars in approval. He follows that with a dropkick and flatliner for a two count on Gainz. The pin is broken up with Zander enters the ring and stops the referees arm from hitting the mat a third time. He says something to the ref who calls for the bell. After the bell, it is explained that Lethal Gainz was disqualified so the team of Simon Sermon and the Wonderboyz are the victors! Whoric says he wants a piece of Richard Page who says the only way that happens is if he goes through ALL members of his faction. Zander says he’ll do what he has to so he gets Page in the ring alone.

Winners: The Wonderboyz (Aaron & Ethan Dallas), Simon Sermon via DQ
Match 6: Sal Rinauro Vs. Eddie Hindrixx—Sal starts off getting in and out of the ring to
play mind games with Eddie. Rinauro sits cross-legged in the ring just smiling at
Hindrxix which vastly confuses the big man. They eventually tangle with a test of
strength where Sal grabs a headlock. Eddie picks him off the ground and lightly tosses
across the ring, then grabs a wristlock on the veteran grappler. Rinauro reverses into a
behind the back hammerlock armbar. He catches Hendrix with a back elbow then some
chops. Those only wake up the bear as Hendrix unleashes quite possibly the loudest,
most directly damaging chop on Rinauro that had every fan feeling the effects! Eddie
throws a few more crushing chops before utilizing a double underhook suplex and a gut-
wrench suplex for good measure. Delayed suplex held up for a second by Sal, then
Eddie regroups and hoists him up once more before following through for the smashing
slam. He gets a one count. Sal blocks a German suplex and stomps the back of Eddie.
He then dropkicks the back of Hendrix and hits a running knee to the small of the back
of him to further the damage inflicted. Rinauro goes for a pedigree and countered into a
back body drop. They each trade strikes then a back splash in the corner by Eddie
followed by a clothesline. A side-walk slam by Hendrix. As Sal gets to his feet Hindrixx hits a pop-up powerbomb for a very near fall. Sal knocks Eddie down and climbs the
ropes where he’s met by Eddie who tries a superplex that is blocked by Rinauro. Sal
goes for the sunset flip bomb but cannot quite get his opponent off the rope. Instead he
tucks Eddie’s head to deliver a superkick to his face. He covers for a two and seven
eighths count. They fight to the apron. Rinauro sweeps the feet of Hendrix who crashes
onto the apron then rolls onto the floor. Sal rushes back in the ring and encourages the
official (along with many fans) to count Eddie out. After a very slow count to nine,
Hendrix finds his way back inside the square circle. Sal stomps his foot in the corner to
signal the ensuing super kick. As Eddie rises to his feet, Sal goes for the kick and Eddie
catches his foot. We get a succession of overhead release suplexes from Hindrixx, each
slightly more impressive to witness…and more shattering to Rinauro. The final suplex
being a standing falcon arrow over-head release suplex for the victory.
Winner: Eddie Hendrixx via pinfall
Match 7: Main Event—“Southern Outlaw” Sean Nelson Vs. Stevie Ray Frost (c-
Heavyweight Championship: “Prince Of Darkness Match”)—For this ultimate
grudge match, Frost made Nelson agree to a “Prince of Darkness” rules match. The
rules are basically this: There are four druids around the ring. When the lights go out, a
druid presents a weapon into the match that is legal to use from that point on. These are
the only weapons legal in the match. Now the match begins the Nelson is laying it on
Frost. Punches, kicks, flying attacks and more to just lay the wood to the heavyweight
champ. Light go out, when they come back on Druid #1 presents a bull rope! The two
combatants tangle for control of it then Nelson smashes the cowbell into Frost. Then he
whips him with the rope multiple times. Sean is really getting the best of Stevie Ray and
is cruising to hoisting the belt once again! The lights go down. When they rise, Druid #2
brandishes…a tennis racket! They jockey for possession of the newest addition to the
match then they trade blows on each other with it. Frost starts to get his footing and
gets in some damage to Nelson. Nelson with a decapitating clothesline using the bull
rope on Frost. Stevie Ray lands a back elbow, then takes a tour around his fallen foe
dishing out stomps to different parts of the “Southern Outlaw”. Frost glares around
ringside and grins. The lights go out a third time. When they are back on we see Druid
#3 produce a bat with something wrapped around the barrel. The onlookers are
wondering aloud what has been added to the weapon, however do not have to wonder
much longer. Sean Nelson grabs it, lifts it high in the air, then lowers it quickly onto
Frost. BOOM! An explosion of shrapnel and sparks echo throughout the building as the
stunned audience tries to wrap their minds around what they just saw! Frost is rolling in
pain and Nelson tries to cover him. Only a two count. As the smell of explosives fills the
air, the lights go out for the final time. Druid #4 has something in his hand, but instead of
showing it he slowly glides into the ring. He then reveals weapon four: the trademark
antlers of Stevie Ray Frost! He shows them to Nelson, then places them in the middle of
the ring before giving Sean a “thumbs up”. Before Nelson can grab them, Druid #4
dropkicks him to the ground. As the fans wonder what that was about, Druid #4
removes his hood and robe….it’s Xander Seabolt! Seabolt smiles at Frost then exits to
the floor. Stevie Ray grabs his antlers and crunches them into the top of Sean’s head.
Frost covers and the official counts the 1-2-3.
After the match, Jason Boyd tells Frost
that he may have outwitted him this night, but on October 4th in this same building Frost
will be a part of a 10-Man Tag Match where whoever pins Frost would be the new #1
Contender. Frost and Seabolt saunter to the back.
Winner: (and STILL Heavyweight Champion) Stevie Ray Frost via pinfall
Next Show: October 4th
Takeaways:
-That bat was loaded up and produced such a book it might have shook the walls.
Post match Frost has quite the mark across his back where it landed. Might have
been one of the best uses and presentations of such a weapon as I have seen in a
long time.
-AJ called out Mayson and paid for it by getting beaten from pillar to post. How
will he rebound and have we seen the last of these two brawling all over the
property? What did he think of Nelson throwing in the towel on his behalf?
-Mayson is racking up wins across the state. Is there someone out there that can
truly best him or will he run roughshod where he likes?
-Ayden Andrews got his first Premier win whereas Justin McKenzie is still looking
for his. These two tore is up and were a great change of pace to the Mayson/Black
match just before it.
-Ashton Martin used his high energy to pick up a solid win over Stevens. Stevens
had some other verbal battles throughout the match with fans at ringside. It
seemed to distract him from the flying attacks of Martin just enough to where he
was not victorious. Can the veteran find new focus and best his opponent next
time?
-Alexander Lev picks up more hardware for his career total with an incredible
victory over the ever dangerous Jacob Ashworth. Not often you see two fan-
favorites go toe to toe for a championship. In this case, each showcased almost
their entire arsenal to win, but it was Lev who found the extra gear late when he
needed it. Is there a direct rematch building or what new foe wants a shot at Lev’s
new prize?
-The Wonderboyz & Simon Sermon are just fun to watch work. The Dallas
brothers work so well together and Sermon is a living legend with so much still to
give to the sport.
-Lethal Gainz have a Whoric problem. Plus, where was Ryan Marx? It definitely
affected Gainz and Phillips not have the big man in tow. Richard Page is doing a
good job of navigating the litigation pitfalls, however not being a full three piece
can create new issues for the veteran faction.
-Eddie Hindrixx is a powerful suplex machine. He threw Sal around like a sack of
potatoes. There are not many out there that can match his power at the moment.
-Sal Rinauro is a cerebral institution. He keeps everyone guessing and that makes
him dangerous if you see him across the ring.
-Sean Nelson cannot get a fair shake at the top title. He thought in calling out
Frost like he did that it would be a straight up fight. Then had to agree to this
match. If he ever gets a match in his favor, could he be the one to dethrone
“Prince” Frost?
-Stevie Ray Frost has been champion for over a year now (I believe). He finds new
ways each time to come out victorious and does it in ways that are masterful.
Now he seems to be building a new group of monsters with Seabolt being the
first recruit. As if defeating him was not hard enough, Seabolt will make sure you
have to go through him to get to Frost every time. Best wishes to any challenger.
