Match 1: Wonderboys (Aaron & Ethan Dallas), Professor Pain, Cosmo Martinez V. Strength In Numbers (Ryan Rembrandt, Hakeem Young, Jay “Alpha” Miller, CT Entertainment)—Melee early with all eight engaged in a hockey fight, good guys getting the upper-hand to start. S.I.N. find themselves in each corner with their opposition raining down ten punches as the crowd counted along. They all dive to the outside on S.I.N. Back inside, Aaron and CT pair off but Hakeem tags himself in instead. They do a test of strength that leads to a head scissors, head locks and more chain wrestling. Cosmo enters the match with a soaring crossbody attack on Young followed by a big head scissors takeover. As Cosmos leaps to the top rope, Rembrandt and Miller run across the apron at him. He fends off their advances and sails off the top…where he is met with the vicious one-step spear of “The Body Snatcher” Young. Cosmo is eliminated. Aaron tags back in to take control, then tags his brother Ethan. Many tandem double team moves later have the Wonderboys rolling. Rembrandt takes a cheap shot at Aaron and now S.I.N. has the momentum. Ethan tags Professor Pain who clears house! Along with the Dallas brothers they triple team their foes then the Wonderboys finish off the attack with a Heart Attack leg lariat. Official counts one, two, three and Hakeem Young has been eliminated! Aaron and Miller square up. Miller tags Rembradt for a double suplex and chin breaker on the elder Dallas. Ethan jumps in to help his brother, yet catches a snake eyes on the buckle to be eliminated also. Miller feels the impact of a spinebuster from Aaron as he is eliminated from the contest. Rembrandt with the uppercut to the groin of Aaron as he eliminates him with a pin. Professor rolls up Rembrandt with a small package and Ryan is out. Miller runs over to Professor to show him the championship belt and smacks him in the head! He instructs CT to cover Pain. After a bit of protest he does and S.I.N. win. After the match, they hoist CT on their shoulders to celebrate the win…then unceremoniously dump him on the mat while laughing hysterically.
Winners: S.I.N. (Jay “Alpha” Miller, “Remarkable” Ryan Rembrandt, “Body Snatcher” Hakeem Young, CT Entertainment)
Match 2: DJ Smoke V. Cuatro Cabezas—A pose off begins the match. The crowd is clearly on Cuatro’s side tonight. He gets Smoke to run at him, then moves out of the way. He does this a couple times before DJ gets frustrated and stops running at him. Cabezas grabs a head lock, then shoulder tackle off the push away from Smoke. DJ goes for a remix, but instead suffers a deep atomic drop, dropkick and suplex which garner a near fall for Cuatro. Smoke gets up quick to send Cabezas hard into the buckle. He rolls out onto the apron. DJ runs over to him, Cuatro pops into his midsection followed by a sunset flip. Smoke rolls through it though and dropkicks him in the forehead. He gets a two count. Suplex from DJ as he heads to the top rope. He rolls through as Cuatro moves out of the way. As he runs back towards the masked man, Cabezas delivers a big clothesline! More clotheslines from Cuatro along with a side Russian leg sweep and another two count. CC with a kick and cutter, Smoke rolls to the outside. As Cabezas starts to retrieve him, DJ wails a chair at him causing the disqualification. After the bell, Cabezas wrestles the chair from Smoke and DJ heads for the back.

There was a panel of great wrestling minds and personalities featuring: Teddy Long (WWE Hall of Famer), Nick Patrick (Wrestling Legend), Allison Miller (author of “Rough House”) & Melodie Perras (Grand-Daughter of Ivan Koloff) hosted by “Voice of Violence” Nathan Hamilton. Nick Patrick mentioned to the crowd that this year is the 40 th for Deep South Wrestling.

A tug-of-war over the chain begins the match, both women pulling hard to gain the advantage. Gemma pushes Audrey into the corner, followed by knees to the midsection. She touches three corners, but Allen prevents her getting to the fourth. Audrey with a German suplex and a two count. Gemma recovers to use a regular suplex for a two count as well. Action spills to the outside where Allen delivers some big strikes, Jewels chokes her with the chain. Audrey hurls Gemma into the ring post then rolls her back inside the ring touching one buckle….two buckles….three buckles….Jewels halts the fourth with a clothesline and stomps. They clothesline each other, trade strike for strike afterwards. Audrey slams the chain into the chest of Gemma, Gemma chokes her again with the chain. Jewels uses a fallaway slam to set up some chain strikes across the back of Allen. Jewels with the elbow drop, a second attempt misses. Audrey with a picturesque fireman’s carry fallback slam. She touches three corners, with Gemma slinking behind touching behind her. As Jesse Morales jumps up on the apron to catch the attention of Audrey. Match 4—Main Event: Najasism (C—Open Challenge) V. Mark Davidson—Out of the gate it’s a chain wrestling clinic from both as they go for roll ups to finish off the sequence. After a little dance, he dashes for the corner to hit a dropkick to Davidson, then rolls to the apron. High rolling senton from the apron to inside the ring from the Hoochie Daddy. Mark recovers with some slashing chops and strikes of his own. Naja locks his legs around the torso of Davidson. Once back on their feet, Naja gets Mark in a fireman’s carry before dropping him into a gut buster, then more devastating chops in the corner. Davidson is sat on the top rope by Deep South’s Champion. As Naja approaches for the attack, he gets knocked down by Davidson who then steps onto the top rope for a five- star frog splash! However, he is too banged up for the cover. Some back elbows from Mark drop Naja into a seated position in the corner. Davidson then sprints towards his foe jumping up into a handstand on the ropes, then swinging down to plant both of his boots into the chest of Naja! Rolling senton gets Davidson a near fall. Davidson back to the top rope, Naja stops him with a spin kick and the running cutter gets a two and seven eighths count from the official. Once the ring clears, DSW Ring Announcer Michael Longino comes to the ring to welcome Nick Patrick back to the ring along with Jared and Jeremy York (Impact Media) from Georgia Wrestling History. Michael delivers a great, passionate introduction of the accolades of Nick Patrick. On behalf of Georgia Wrestling History (and fans around the world) Jared and Jeremy present Nick with the “Nightmare Ted Allen Legend of the Year Award”.
Takeaways:
-Najasism versus Mark Davidson is an early Match of the Year candidate. It featured so many different styles and two competitors that wrestle each match like it’s they last.
-Nick Patrick is beyond a legend of profession wrestling and I am glad I got to help show him how appreciated he really is by the wrestling community.
-S.I.N. get another big win over a very good set of opponents. Who can step up to take them down? So far, nobody has been able to successfully.
-Audrey Allen continues to impress even in a losing effort this night. She gave Gemma everything and more that the champ could handle. If not for Jesse Morales’s distraction, Allen would have gotten a big time win versus Jewels.
-Jewels had a good showing. Adding Morales to her ringside arsenal was a great move as he has proven to be quite the X-factor at times.
-The crowd enjoyed Smoke versus Cabezas greatly.
-Sells and Hamilton on commentary is a duo we have not heard in quite a while. Was a great change up for a special night.
-Deep South took a huge risk with Legacy Night. Four matches, a wrestling panel and a surprise award ceremony are not your typical indy wrestling card. Yet they not only made it work, it thrived. Packed out Monday Night Garage with rabid, passionate wrestling fans who showed their appreciation all night long.
