From Rob Brodhecker:
6 matches are scheduled for tonight at the Callaway Livestock Pavilion: "Big Smash" Chris Cox vs. Shawn Clark, Stanley Summerville vs. Brandon Cash, Sean Nelson vs. Ryan Reeves, The Gym Class Heros vs. Bill the Butcher and the Carpenter, Josh Storm vs. Pretty Boy Floyd, and the Main Event is Brad Lynch vs. Frank Mayhood.
It's been several years since I've been to a show here at the Pavilion in Buchanan. In fact, I first met Sal Rinauro here. They have taken out the bleachers that were in the building out, so it's just regular chairs for the show. The set up is for 115 chairs, will see how well they fill up. They have to bring in a set of bleachers. The crowd is 125, 130 if you count babies. GPCW runs typically out of Villa Rica Elementary School, but couldn't this time due to some shenanigans going on behind the scene.
Several storylines were advanced tonight, and a couple of them are woven together for at least several shows.
The ring announcer is Rick Richards who regularly handles ring announcing at Southern Fried. The referee is "Butterbean" Ryan Harmon.
GCPW owner Michael Jones is out and announces that Brad Lynch and the Mercenary are fined $500 each for attacking Jones at the last show and if they don't pay up, they are suspended indefinitely. This brings out Lynch and the Mercenary and the crowd rains down the boos and jeers upon them. Lynch insults the crowd and says that he'll pay $1000 each because he's about to stomp a mudhole into Jones right now. They advance towards Jones, and Shawn Clark comes out to make the save. Clark wants fans to bring the weapons match against Chris Cox at the next show on the 13th. This brings Cox out, and he reminds Clark that he wrapped a chair around the neck of Clark at the last show.
"Big Smash" Chris Cox vs. Stanley Summerville
The crowd serenades Cox with a "Bald, Fat, and Old" chant. This match falls under the "Sometimes you just want to see some big guys slug it out" match heading. Summerville catches Cox with a stunner for the pinfall at 2:24. A short opener to start the show. C.
The Gym Class Heroes(c), Jimmy the Kid and Eric Mayne vs. Bill the Butcher and The Carpenter
The GCH are aching to get a hold of Bill and Carp, They dive on them as Bill and Carpenter are making their way to the ring from the entrance of the building. They are brawling all over the building and then to the outside of the building. The GCH are able to set Bill and Carpenter onto a couple of tables and go to the top of the bleachers to dive on them, Carpenter moves off the table, but Eric splashes down onto Bill. Jimmy and Carpenter get into the ring, and the match officially starts with Eric and Jimmy pounding away on Carpenter. Carpenter makes the tag to Bill, but the GCH double team him effectively. Carpenter drapes Jimmy over the top rope stop the momentum. Jimmy's taking a tremendous beating. Carpenter's got a spike and as Jimmy raises him up for a back body drop, gets Jimmy in the head with it, but Carpenter was dropped as well. Jimmy makes the hot tag, and Eric is going off on Bill and Carpenter. Bill breaks up a GCH double team, and then Eric breaks up their double team and then superkicks Carpenter's head off for the pin at 11:44. Add about 5 minutes of pre-match action. Carp and Bill attack after the match and leave the GCH laying in the ring. They grab the belts and leave with them. I'm liking the storytelling here, a solid B. Security has to attend and help Jimmy and Eric to the back.

3-way match with no disqualification. Nitrus Molotov vs. Brandon Cash vs. Shawn Clark
Shawn is your fan favorite for this match, Brandon hates everyone, and Nitrus wants to be friends with everyone. The usual 3-way match set up with 2 guys fighting while the 3rd takes a breather. The only thing different thus far is that there have not been any "alliances". Ooo look, a Tower of Doom spot. Clark pins Cash with a leg drop from the top rope at 10:25. I had never seen or heard of Nitrus, but I was pleasantly surprised with him and some of the nuances he brought to the match. Chris Cox attacks Clark with a chair as Clark was leaving the ring. Nitrus tried to stop Cox but took a chair shot to the head for his troubles. Cox sets up the chair between the turnbuckles and sends Clark into the chair. Cox parades around the ring with the chair. Nitrus stood out in this match C+, was going to give it a C- but the post-match activities bumped it up.
Ryan Reeves with Jacob Danger (Southern Revolution) vs. Sean Nelson
This is Nelson's crowd and they love him here. Nelson has to endure the shenanigans of Danger on the outside of the ring when the ref's back is turned. Sean rolls up Reeves at 6:52 after Sean sends him into Danger who was up on the ring apron. Reeves wants a match with the Dem West Georgia Boyz in two weeks at the next show. That brings out Josh Storm, and he says, "forget 2 weeks, let's do it now!" They storm the ring and SR bails out of the ring, and they head to the back.

Pretty Boy Floyd vs. Josh Storm
Floyd's been a mainstay of the West Georgia scene for a long time now and can still aggravate a crowd. This match was set up from Floyd attacking Storm after a match at the last show. They have been going back and forth for several years. A couple of guys in the crowd and really laying it in verbally at Floyd, it's pretty funny. Floyd gets himself disqualified at 9:23 after using the cowbell that he brings to the ring. Sean Nelson and Shawn Clark make the save from further attacks from Floyd. Floyd and Nelson jaw at each other, setting a tag match down the road. C+/B-.
GPCW Title Match: Brad Lynch(c) with the Mercenary vs. Frank Mayhood (with Tweety)
Lynch is one of the few people that I know of that has to have security escort him around the ring. This is just plain, old fashion hate that has been simmering and festering for more than a decade. Brad stalls for the first couple of minutes and then wants to leave the pavilion after several quick covers from Frank. These guys don't have to call a match, they can do by telepathy. Brad wins by count out as the Mercenary was holding the feet of Frank at 16:55. B+. Several people in the crowd were upset that Butterbean didn't see the Mercenary holding onto Frank, so they chased him out of the arena. Frank wants another shot at Brad and wants it as a lumberjack match. Jones comes out and makes that match with the added stipulation of the lumberjacks having straps for the July 13th show.
