At IWA Puerto Rico's "La Gran Amenaza" ("The Greatest Threat") on July 31 at the 24 Marketplace in San Juan there were a lot surprises, title changes as well, as the beginning of their partnership with Major League Wrestling. Fan attendance was over a 1000. "El Vigilante" Aiden Grimm won the Chicky Starr Cup, former CWA and JWP World Tag Team Champions The Owners of Time (Leinord White and Nick Mercer) defeated Los Fugitivos (Niche and Lynx) and former MLW/IWA Puerto Rico-Caribbean Champion Richard Holliday beat Mr.Big in cheap fashion by becoming the new IWA Puerto Rico World Champion. With MLW owner, Court Bauer via screen, the debut of former WWC World Tag Team Champions La Revolucion and the return of "El Chico Ilegal" Chicana took place, all leading up to their Summer Attitude 2021 when IWA returns to the 24 Marketplace on August 14.
CWF Mid-Atlantic was founded by Jeff Rudd and Danny Wenkel in 1996. At various times the promotion was a member of three now defunct governing body promotions: UK's Frontier Wrestling Alliance from 2001-2004, Wrestling Superstars-Live (formerly AWA Superstars) from 2005-2007 and Pro Wrestling International from 2009-2019. The promotion ran events throughout North Carolina and filmed CWF Worldwide, Rising Generation League. as well as both the Johnny Weaver and Kernodle Brothers Cup Tournament special episodes through their YouTube channel from the CWF Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium in Gibsonville. CWF also co-produced with the now defunct Dragons Gate USA in 2011 with Open The Southern Gate and Arena Chickfights owned by Amber O'Neal-Gallows. Wrestlers that came through CWF Mid-Atlantic included Caprice Coleman, Cedric Alexander. OMEGA graduates Trevor Lee aka Cameron Grimes (who was the longest running CWF Mid-Atlantic Champion as well as holding the CWF Worldwide Television Champion, Kaleb Konley and Andrew Everett, Timmy Lou Retton, Ethan Alexander Sharpe, Roy Wilikns, Arik Royal, Aaron Biggs, The Mecha Mercenary, Brad Attitude,Smith Garret, Snooty Fox, Cowboy Kool Jay, Cain Justice, Darius Lockhart, The Carmies (Nick Iggy and Kerry Awful. Woman wrestlers Su Yung, Nikki Cross, Aspyn Rose and Chastity Taylor also appeared for CWF. Their last event was Battlecade 20 on December 28, 2019.
Here are four special episodes that showcases the 2018 Kernodle Cup Tag Team Tournament, dedicated to NWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Legends the late Don Kernodle and brother Rocky Kernodle (who appeared in WWC Puerto Rico's early years as an NWA member and last appeared in 1986 as Keith Larsen) and from 2016, the Survivor Series style match between Team CWF Mid-Atlantic and Team CZW.
This past weekend, CWA's YouTube Channel uploaded their recent anniversary shows. The Twelfth Anniversary Show had Bambino and "El Magnate Cubano" Rodrigo Garcia defeating Los Rodriguez to become the new CWA World Tag Team Champions , "La Chica de la Actitud" Roxxy and Raeven Marie beat CWA Women's Champ Nancy and Kayla Jonie and "Showman" Mike Nice retained the CWA World Championship beating Akbar Farat. On the Thirteenth Anniversary Show there were shocking betrayals an appearance by Diosdado, who left IWA Puerto Rico became the newly crowned CWA Accion Vibrante Champion and the return of Los Toros Salvajes (Akiles Falcon and Cazador). Caguas' Revolutionary Caribbean Wrestling has signed a television deal with AmericaTeve Puerto Rico starting in August. It also has scheduled appearances for their second anniversary event by Hurricane Castillo, Jr., "Su Majestad" El Profe, Latin Rose, and the return of Victor El Dragon with members of El Imperio Lucha Libre.
World Wide Wrestling (North Point, NC), a former NWA member promotion is now a governing body much like the former AIWF Southern members formed Southern Wrestling Territories after the passing of AIWF Southern founder Jerry Stephens. Member promotions under the WWW banner: Laurinberg's Coastal Atlantic Grappling Entertainment (CAGE), New Bern's Shockwave Wrestling Entertainment, Fayetteville's Tarheel Championship Wrestling, Rockingham's Atlantic Coast Wrestling, Championship International Wrestling out of Detroit,Parker, South Carolina's Warzone Pro Wrestling and American Championship Wrestling in Statesboro, GA.
On August 14, Tarheel Championship Wrestling will have their event Ultimatum at the Fayetteville Salvation Army Gym, 220 E. Russell Street in Fayetteville with a bell time of 7 pm. Shockwave Wrestling will have At All Cost on August 21 from the Shockwave Arena, Craven County Jaycees Fairgrounds 3700 Hwy in New Bern. Bell time is at 7pm.

Vega Baja's Borinquen Sports Promotion Wrestling has started a tournament to crown a new BSP Maximum World Champion due to Electro LNC's retirement from the sport. Matches announced from the A bracket: Protege vs. Julian in a First Blood match, Trauma vs. Athan El Inmortal in a No-Count Out Match, Xone vs. Dante in a 2 out of 3 Falls match, and Rafael vs. The Assassin Jimission in a Submission match and from the B bracket: Dark Master vs, Destino in a Chairs match, J.E.Killer vs. Vision in a Chain match, Seivent vs. Yomar in a Lumberjack match, and Azrael vs. Paradox in a handcuff match. the winners from the A bracket will have two Quaterfinal matches: Falls Count Anywhere and Barbed Wire. the winners from the B bracket will have two matches: Tables and Ladder match. the semifinals: A bracket winners will have a Last Man Standing match while the winners from the B bracket's semifinal will be a Hardcore match. then the winners from both A and B bracket will square off in the Finals in an Iron Man match.
