Intense Wrestling Entertainment presented their 3rd Anniversary show: IWE 3 at the American Legion Post 63 in Augusta GA on May 14th 2022 with an attendance of 306.
A Pre-Show Tag Team Match (Blackwell/Beckett vs Odam/Young) begins as William Blackwell and Grayson Beckett make their way to the ring to boos from the crowd. Matt Odam’s music hits, and the crowd goes wild before the two even make their way out. The crowd is behind Strength and Salvation! Blackwell and Beckett attack Matt Odam and Hunter Young and the match begins. All men brawl in the ring. Odam is thrown out and Blackwell and Beckett hit a double-suplex on Young. Matt Odam slides back in but is thrown over the top and counters into a double-clothesline through the ropes. Young then re-enters the ring, as Blackwell and Beckett roll out. Young then hits a suicide-dive to the outside! Strength and Salvation (Odam and Young) are working well as a team in this match. Young hits a superkick into a back-body drop from Odam. Blackwell attempts an ax-handle from the top but misses. He proceeds to hit a dirty blow on Young, the official does not see it. Blackwell tags in Beckett. Beckett works the arm of Young and tags Blackwell in. Young escapes and makes the tag to Odam, but the official doesn’t see it. Blackwell and Beckett take the advantage, as the two hit an impressive killswitch-cross body combo! Blackwell goes for the cover to no success. Odam comes in for the hot-tag. The crowd is on fire! Blackwell and Odam brawl on the top rope. Odam is thrown to the mat. Blackwell jumps from the top but is countered into a huge powerbomb from Odam. Odam then proceeded to hit Blackwell with a spinebuster followed by Hunter Young with a frog splash from the top for the win. Winners: Strength and Salvation (Matt Odam and Hunter Young) Time: 9:58
IWE seems to have some technical difficulties with their audio before the show begins. Commentators for the evening are Karl Hager and William Blackwell. The ring announcer is Diana Michel. Diana makes her way out and welcomes everyone to IWE 3.
The Opening contest is a triple threat match. Out first is AC Mack.
They continue to have audio issues as the speakers and music pop in and out. Mack grabs the mic and exclaims to cut his music. He then proceeds to introduce himself to the crowd. Out next is Vary Morales. The crowd pops as he makes his way to the ring. Finally, Darian Bengston makes his way out. The match begins as the crowd chant for all combatants. All men circle the ring and go for a triple lock-up. Mack and Bengston whip Vary into the ropes but he counters into a double hurricanrana. Mack then hits Vary with a flying back elbow. Bengston enters and trades blows with Mack. Morales then hits Bengston with a dropkick into the corner then goes to the top but Mack pulls him to the floor. Mack whips Morales into the guardrail, then runs a lap around the ring and clotheslines Bengston into the crowd! Vary goes to the top and dives over the guardrail into the crowd on Mack and Bengston! The crowd is on their feet! All men re-enter the ring slowly and regroup as they trade chops in the center. Mack hits Vary with a kick followed by a superkick from Morales. Vary then goes to the top followed by Bengston and Mack for a triple suplex! Bengston then goes to the top again and hits a corkscrew on Morales followed by Mack with a pedigree on Bengston for the win.Winner: AC Mack Time: 10:01

The next match is a tag team match. Wolfe Taylor and Skrilla The Great vs Josh Magnum and Owen Knight.
Wolfe makes his way out first to mixed reactions followed by Skrilla who receives a small reaction from the crowd. Josh Magnum then makes his way out, bucket of beer in hand to a massive pop from the crowd. Magnum stumbles on the top rope during his entrance, as if he has been drinking. Owen Knight then makes his way out to a huge pop. Taylor places Knight in a headlock to start as the two play leapfrog. Knight tags in Magnum as Wolfe tags in Skrilla. Both men lock-up and chain as Skrilla wrenches the arm. Magnum counters with a cartwheel into a dropkick. Skrilla rolls out of the ring as Magnum chases him. Magnum tags in Knight. Knight and Skrilla trade blows. Knight hits a huge clothesline on Skrilla then tags in Magnum. Magnum hits Skrilla with an arm drag and wrenches the arm. Skrilla reaches the rope and rolls out. Magnum jumps over the top but is met with a clothesline from Skrilla. Skrilla hits a suplex on Magnum and rolls him back in the ring as he makes the tag to Wolfe. Wolfe throws Magnum into the corner and tags in Skrilla. Skrilla stomps the back of Magnum. Magnum attempts to fight back but is cut off with a drop kick. Skrilla makes the tag, and Wolfe chops Magnum in the corner. He tags Skrilla back in who places Magnum in a headlock. The crowd is chanting for Magnum. Magnum slings Skrilla into the ropes who tags Wolfe. Magnum hits Wolfe with a low kick to the groin and a curb stomp. Wolfe gets back up and whips Magnum into the corner. Magnum hulks up and comes in hot hitting Taylor with a backflip handstand into the ropes into a pele’ kick. Magnum makes the tag to Knight. Knight comes in HOT! He hits Taylor with a huge superkick and goes for the cover but he kicks out. Taylor tags in Skrilla who hits a slingblade on Knight. Knight crawls to tag in Magnum. Magnum notices Wolfe on the outside drinking his beer and jumps to the outside onto Taylor. Magnum proceeds to hit Taylor with a kendo stick. Knight rolls up Skrilla for the win. Winners:Owen Knight and Josh Magnum Time: 15:24
IWE Owner Tim Blackmon makes his way out. He thanks the crowd for 3 years of IWE and for all of their support. He then thanks everyone who works for IWE in the ring and behind the scenes. He then proceeds to address Overkill and states how they aren’t here so it’s going to be a good show.
Next up is Leila Grey vs Lindsey Snow for the IWE Women’s Championship. Leila makes her way out, followed by Snow. Snow is met with a huge pop from the crowd as she is accompanied to the ring by a young fan cosplayed as herself. The match begins and the two lock-up. Lindsey hits an arm drag and whips Leila into the corner, she goes for the cover but nobody’s home. Grey then pulls the hair of Snow. Snow fires back with uppercuts. Grey attempts a running knee from the ropes, but Snow counters into a submission as Grey crawls to attempt the break. Grey takes control of the match, wrenching the neck of Snow. Grey then hits Snow with a slingblade. Snow then attempts to what seems to be a figure four but Grey escapes. Both women are down for the count. Lindsey crawls to the top for a crossbody into the cover to no success. Grey then whips Snow into the corner followed by a running knee/bulldog combo, very CM Punk esque. Snow then drops Grey with another leg lock as Grey taps out. Winner and still IWE Women’s Champion Lindsey Snow Time: 8:20
Luke Kurtis makes his way to the ring and grabs the mic. He states that he is in a bad mood and that IWE management flew him in for the event and he doesn’t have an opponent. He proceeds to issue an open challenge to anyone in the back. His challenge is answered by the returning, SEAN LEGACY! The crowd goes WILD!
The match begins as Kurtis stomps Sean into the corner. Sean counters into a roll-up for the cover to no success, followed by a drop kick. Kurtis rolls out of the ring as Sean follows. Kurtis throws Legacy into the guardrails and taunts to the crowd. Kurtis then goes for a suplex to the outside but is reversed by Legacy into a suplex onto the guardrail. Sean slings Kurtis back into the ring and attempts a cutter but is countered by Kurtis. Kurtis then kicks Legacy in the ribs and places his knee on his neck, followed by a club to the back. He whips Sean into the ropes and hits a devastating clothesline and goes for the cover but only gets two. He proceeds to grab Legacy but is countered into a back body drop. Sean then whips Kurtis into the corner for a back elbow followed by a suplex. Sean sets Kurtis up for the F5 but Kurtis reverses. Kurtis places Legacy in the STF. Sean attempts to reach the rope but is pulled back. Kurtis hits a punt kick on Legacy and goes for a cutter but is countered by Legacy. Legacy whips Kurtis into the ropes and hits a 619 followed by a cutter for the win. Winner: Sean Legacy Time: 9:02
Next up is tag team action for the IWE Tag Team Championships. Out first is Southern Strong Style (Hanson/Johnson/2 Strong) Next out is Exotic Youth. Youth receives mixed reactions. The match is contested under Freebird Rules. The match breaks out in chaos as all men brawl in the ring. Exotic Youth storms out of the ring as Johnson and Mosley start things off. Johnson whips Mosley into the corner laying in huge chops. Johnson and Strong then hit a double suplex on Mosley. Strong is now legal but tags Johnson back in. Pepperbottom runs in for the save but is tripped and goes face-first into Mosley’s crotch! HMB Hanson tags in and whips Mosley into the corner with punches to a 10 count. Mosley stumbles to tag in Pepperbottom. He whips Hanson into a flying back elbow. Pepperbottom then argues with the members of Southern Strong Style as Exotic Youth attacks Hanson. Pepperbottom makes the tag to Cannon. Cannon stomps the head of Hanson and whips him into the corner, hitting a running knee. Exotic Youth proceeds to hit a team maneuver as they whip Pepperbottom onto Hanson in the corner. Mosley jumps over the top to hit a double arm breaker with Cannon. Hanson and Mosley trade blows. Hanson attempts the tag but is overpowered by Mosley. Mosley tags in Cannon as the two whip Hanson into the ropes. Hanson dodges and the two Exotic Youth members take out each other with a double clothesline! Hanson tags in Strong and he comes in for the hot tag. Strong brawls in the ring with Exotic Youth and makes the tag to Hanson again. The official gets distracted as there was miscommunication with the tag, and Cannon hits Hanson in the head with a paddle for the win. Winners and still IWE Tag Team Champions: Exotic Youth Time: 13:26
After the match, Proc Johnson shoves Hanson in the ring and Southern Strong Style shows tension. Strong and Johnson then proceed to attack and turn on HMB Hanson. William Huckaby runs out for the save and sends Southern Strong Style packing. Huck grabs the mic and states who he is, and that Hanson and himself, the All-Star Special are in IWE and challenges Johnson and Strong to a match at the next event.
The next contest is the “Rights for Coach Mikey” match between Rob Killjoy and White Mike. (A video package plays, recapping their friendship and feud.) White Mike makes his way out first to massive boos from the crowd, rocking his trademark robe now with cut-off sleeves. (Another video package plays as Coach Mikey speaks on the screens.) Coach Mikey makes his way out as Killjoy enters the ring from behind. The bell rings and the two waste no time and brawl in the ring. Killjoy whips Mike into the corner and throws him into the center of the ring. Killjoy rakes the eyes of Mike on the ropes asking Mike to fight back. Killjoy then hits Mike with a back-breaker across the knee. He then clotheslines Mike to the outside and hits a flip over the top. The two brawl outside of the ring trading blows, and Killjoy chops Mike on the ring post. Killjoy then whips Mike into the crowd, sending him over the guardrail. Killjoy grabs Mike and slings him back into the ring. Mike begs for mercy on his knees and goes for an eye-gouge but is countered by Rob. Killjoy then whips Mike into the corner and goes to the top, punching Mike to a 10 count. Mike reverses and hits a snap-suplex onto Killjoy in the corner. Mike stomps away at Rob as the tides turn in this match. Mike proceeds to hit Killjoy with a neck breaker. Killjoy attempts to fight back but is stomped down by Mike. Mike whips Killjoy hard into the corner. He stomps the head of Rob, followed by a knee in the back. White Mike then hits a back breaker to the knee on Killjoy and chokes him. This match is an absolute fight. The two slap each other in the middle of the ring. Killjoy struggles to stand to his feet, then fires back in pure adrenaline but is cut off by Mike and clotheslined to the outside. Rob counters and hits a stomp off the apron to the outside onto Mike and rolls him back into the ring to hit a huge missile drop kick. Killjoy then hits a backflip off the middle rope, followed by a powerbomb and goes for the cover but fails. Killjoy hoists Mike onto his shoulders but Mike counters into a pump-handle backbreaker into a powerslam. Mike climbs to the top, followed by Rob. Rob attempts a hurricanrana but misses. Mike goes to jump but Rob grabs the rope, causing Mike to slip. Killjoy then goes back to the top and hits White Mike with an Attitude Adjustment from the top! He goes for the pin but Mike kicks out. The crowd is on their feet! Coach Mikey yells for Rob to finish it as Rob jumps from the top but is caught by Mike and hit with a piledriver! Mike goes for the pin but Killjoy kicks out! Mike gets frustrated and grabs a steel chair. Coach Mikey enters the ring and snatches the chair from Mike! The crowd goes nuts! Coach Mikey hulks out on White Mike and hits the Hogan leg drop! Killjoy now has the chair. The crowd chants for Killjoy to use the chair, but the official goes to take the chair from Rob. White Mike then kicks the chair into the head of Killjoy and hits his finish for the win! The fans are devastated! White Mike now has the rights to the services of Coach Mikey! Mike then proceeds to hit Coach Mikey with his boot, stating his ass belongs to him. Winner: White Mike Time 18:53
The crowd cheers for Killjoy as he is left in the ring.
Next up is Alex Hammerstone vs Alan Angels. Angels makes his way out, followed by Hammerstone. The crowd pops huge for Hammerstone! The match begins as the two shake hands and lock-up. Hammerstone backs Angels into the corner for a clean break. The two recenter and lock-up and Angels wrenches the arm of Hammerstone. He hits the ropes and attempts a shoulder tackle but is overpowered by Hammerstone. Angels gets up and clotheslines Hammerstone to the outside. The two brawl outside the ring, as Angels lays in shots on the steel steps to Hammerstone. Angels runs around the ring but is met with a back elbow from Hammerstone. Hammerstone clotheslines Angels over the guardrail into the crowd. He re-enters the ring as the official begins the count. The ref gets to 9 as Angels rolls in at the last second. Hammerstone immediately sets up for a suplex but is reversed into a roll-up by Angels. Angels attempts everything in his arsenal to take down the big man but only seems to anger him. Angels goes to the top but is slung across the ring by Hammerstone. Hammerstone then proceeds to hit Angels with a spinning facebuster and goes for the cover but Angels kicks out. Hammerstone whips Angels into the corner and sets him up on the top to attempt a super-plex. Angels counters and pushes Hammerstone to the mat and hits a ddt from the top followed by a frog splash. Angels whips Hammerstone and goes for a crossbody but is reversed into a german suplex. Angels then hits Hammerstone with an eat-defeat and he is dazed. Hammerstone is angry now and gorilla presses Angels to the outside, but Angels counters and sends Hammerstone flying into the ring post. The two brawl on the outside and Angels hits a ddt. The official counts to 10 and the match is ruled a double count out. Winner: Draw by double count out Time: 16:44
The crowd boos and chants 5 more minutes. Angels and Hammerstone re-enter the ring and signal they want to give the fans 5 more minutes, but are cut-off by the manager of Joe Black, Tyreke. He states that he doesn’t care if the fans want 5 more minutes or 5 more seconds and that it his his client Joe Black’s time and to get out of his ring. Hammerstone thanks the crowd and IWE Owner Tim Blackmon grabs the mic and asks the fans if they want to see Angels and Hammerstone at the next event. The crowd responds.
Tbe main event, a title unification match for the IWE New Age and Heavyweight Championships. New Age Champion Anthony Henry makes his way out first as the crowd cheers. IWE Heavyweight Champion Joe Black follows, being accompanied to the ring by his associate Tyreke. The match begins and both men lock-up. Henry takes Black down to the mat. He attempts an ankle lock but Black reaches the rope to break the hold. Both men recenter and lock-up again and Henry takes Black down. They begin to chain in the ring as Henry wrenches the arm of Black. Henry then places Black into a headlock and whips him into an arm drag. Black kicks Henry in the midsection but is met with a dropkick from Henry. Henry then continues to twist and work the arm of Black. Both men trade chops and blows in the corner and Black reverses, sending Henry into the turnbuckle and begins to choke him. Tyreke then chokes Henry as the official looks away. Black then rakes the nose of Anthony Henry, followed by a sling blade clothesline. The crowd boos. Henry tries to get up but is attacked by Tyreke once again. Black has Henry in the corner, continuing to strike, then goes for the cover to no success. Black whips Henry off but is reversed into a palm-strike pele combo, proceeded by a belly to belly. Black goes for a suplex of his own but Henry counters into a submission, bending the fingers and ligaments of Black. Black whips Henry off again, as Henry counters into a roll-up. Henry then asks the crowd to be silent as he snaps the fingers of Joe Black. Black reverses into a falcon arrow and goes for the cover, Henry kicks out. Black goes for a spear on Henry but doesn’t get it all as Henry catches him and counters into a suplex followed by a submission. Henry is using a lot of his technical arsenal in this match. Both men go out to the apron trading slaps and kicks. Henry hits a rock bottom onto Black on the apron and the two fall to the floor. The official counts as both men struggle to re-enter the ring at the count of 9. Both men then trade shots in the center of the ring and Henry hits Black with a snap german suplex and goes to the top for a dive. Black throws the ref in the way, and Henry shoves him off as Black spears the official! The ref is down! Black hits a low blow and goes for the cover but Henry powers out. Black then goes for a spear, but Henry counters into a sleeper followed by a kick. Henry then goes to the top for a stomp but Tyreke grabs the foot of Henry. Henry chases Tyreke and is blindsided by Black. Henry counters, but Black reverses into a roll-up for the win. Winner and Unified IWE Champion, Joe Black Time: 18:34
The lights go out after the match and “The Heathen” KRULE appears in the ring! The crowd goes NUTS! Krule chokeslams Tyreke as Black flees the ring.
This moment is cut short due to an incident as Black knocks the hat off of a fan. The fan then proceeds to headbutt Black and the two begin to fight. Security and the roster run out to break up the two, as this is not a part of the show. Black managed to get a few shots in on the fan, and the fan was escorted out of the building. IWE then later posted on their social media about the incident and noted that they would soon address the situation, apologizing to the fans and attendees.
IWE’s next event will take place on July 9th at the American Legion Post 63 in Augusta GA and with Krule making his presence known, is he coming for Joe Black and the IWE Championship?
