With 354 paying fans in attendance, the night began with a 10-Bell salute to the late Hillbilly James Rose. The wrestlers gathered to pay tribute to the veteran wrestler and honor his memory. Commissioner Brad Barnes unveiled the Rome Heritage Championship Belt. But the excitement faded quickly as the Golden Boys interrupted this highly momentous announcement. 

Cody McKale vs. Christian Garrett 

Commissioner Barnes called out Christian Garrett to face Cody McKale of the Golden Boys. The back-and-forth exchange in the match proved to be entertaining. The Golden Boys’ Ryan Marx intervened, creating an opening for McKale. In a display of athleticism, McKale performed a high-flying moonsault and secured a pinfall victory. 

Ryan Marx of the Golden Boys vs. Tim Possible 

Possible returned after a decade-long absence. The match started off hot with Possible showing he was clearly underestimated by Marx. Seizing an opportunity, Possible caught Marx off guard using a schoolboy rollup and secured the victory. 

Southern Express Makes a Southern Showcase Prediction 

Southern Express came out and declared their intent to conquer The Approved with Gainz and Lightning in a War Games style match at the Southern Showcase on September 30th. After this prediction, Gainz and Lightning came out and challenged for a tag match to sharpen their skills after not teaming up in two years. The Washington Bullets answered the challenge. 

Gainz and Lightning vs. The Washington Bullets (John and Trey Williams) 

In an explosive tag team match, Chris Gainz and Chris Lightning teamed up to take  The Washington Bullets. This match was an all-out wrestling fest featuring great maneuvers, including a double sunset flip that was sure to end the match. But much to the surprise of the fans, the Bullets kicked out. Gainz and Lightning showcased their unbreakable chemistry. The match ended in a dramatic rollup pinfall by Gainz, sealing the victory for Gainz and Lightning, proving that time has not diminished their partnership. 

Dominic Stuckey vs. Brother Azriel 

The fans saw back-and-forth action with some unpredictable moments. It was Stuckey who emerged the winner using the Falcon Driver to secure a pinfall. 

Big Andy vs. Eddie Honcho 

Honcho escaped the ring to avoid confrontation forcing Big Andy to bring the match back into the ring. After a series of big moves, Big Andy took Honcho out with a thunderous splash and secured the victory. 

Lamar Phillips vs. Zach Mosley 

The main event was a showdown between Phillips and Mosley. The match kicked off with a back-and-forth exchange between the two competitors. In a moment of overconfidence, Mosley capitalizes and executes his finisher, standing slice bread, securing the pinfall for a win. 

The crowd erupts and cheers for Mosley. But the win would not go unpunished. Phillip’s manager, James Hardy gets on the ring ropes and distracts Mosely while Phillips attacks him from behind. With Mosley lying in the ring, Phillips calls for chairs and sets three chairs up in the middle of the ring, and then in a horrifying turn, pile drives Mosley through the steel chairs leaving him bruised and battered in the center of the ring. 

The night left fans eagerly anticipating the upcoming Southern Showcase coming September 30th. The stage is set for an unforgettable event.
