Here's a recap of the show that set the table fo Decade of Decadence, Todd Sexton's Southern Fried swan song and the last ride of the Sexton Alliance in a Monroe Massace cage match tomorrow night in Monroe.

Father vs. son: Jamey Dean vs. Hunter James

And a pair of grudge matches: Dominic Stuckey vs. Alexander Lev for the Classics Championship and Ashton Martin vs. new babyface Joey Hyder

A special attracton match was added to the card: Bryce Cannon vs. Corey Hollis  

Recap --

The show opened with Southern Fried owner David Manders and hi new Southern Fried Champion Nick Halen in the ring. Manders called their families into the ring. Manders retired the Southern Fried belt and presented Halen with a brand spanking new title belt. Halen said it's a grind and sometimes that grind pays off.

Rob Adonis made his way to the ring. He congratulated Halen from the bottom of his heart and threw his hat into the ring for a title match. Said he and Halen have never wrestled. Geniune of disengenious? We shall see.

Xander Seabolt defeated Adrian Hawkins in 6:59.  John Johnson was conspicuous by his absense in Seabolt's corner. Marvelous Michael Steven came out to  provides distraction. Seabolt came at Hawkins from behind with the tag belt in hand. Hawkins cut him off with a springboard back elbow. Marv slid a chair in to divert referee David Weakley's attention. Seabolt clocked Hawkins with the belt and picked up the cheap win. For some strange reason, I'd like to see a Kasey Owens/Xander Seabolt singles match.

Jaden Vain defeated Joey Hyder and Seth Delay and Michael Stevens in 8:52 to earn a Southern Fried Championship match later in the evening. Hyder was wrestling clean. Vain feigned an ankle injury and was carried to the back by Xavier Cross. Hawkins ran in with a codebreaker for Marv. Delay hit the Flying Squirrel on Hyder. Vain sprinted back to the ring to steal the pin on Hyder.

Hunter James thanked Dominic Stuckey for his help at Shindig. He wasn't a good loser but if had to lose the Classics title, he was glad he lost it to Dom. Jamey Dean demanded that his son give him a match. "I'm old school. If you ain't cheatin, you ain' tryin'."

Alexander Lev offered Ashton Martin a chance to be his faithful follower. Before Martin could give his answer, Stuckey marched into the ring to battle with Martin. A  masked man whacked Stuckey's knee with a baseball bat. Lev and Martin put the boots to Stuckey until Tayo made the save.

Alexander Lev defeated Tayo (with Ashton Martin) in 9:09. Martin interfered on Lev's behalf. Lev then pinned Tayo with a hammerlock piledriver.

Lev reiterated his offer to Martin. Hyder made his way to the ring and said he could not stand by and watch this happen. Hyder advised Martin not to buy what Lev was saying. Hyder said received the same offer and Lev left him high and dry when he needed him most. Martin started the leave the ring but wheeled around and attacked Hyder from behind. Lev and Martin beat Hyder down. Lev has his new protege.

Judas defeated Christian Taylor in 7:52. Taylor showed no fear. They beat the hell out of each other. Judas speared Taylor in midflight for the three count.

Todd Sexton announced his departure from Southern Fried effective this Saturday Night, closing out with his Approved brothers as his partners against any five that stepped up to take them on.

Nick Halen defeated Jaden Vain (with Xavier Cross) to retain the Southern Fried Championship in 10:42. Cross planted Halen on the ring apron. Adonis came to ringside in an apparent effort to help Halen. During the ensuing chaos, Vain clocked Halen with the loaded glove and had the champion pinned but Halen got a foot on the ropes. Halen used a matrix move and an enzuigiri to set up his signature top rope elbow drop tor retain.

David Manders & Billy Buck defeated John Johnson & Jacob Ashworth in 14:15. Buck and Mander did stereo flip flop and flys and teased a double superkick on Johnson but Ashworth pulled Buck out of the ring. JJ nutted Manders and grabbed a chair. Chianne Michaels tripped up JJ and Manders dropped an elbow on Johnson for the three count.

Postmatch, Ashworth put his hands on Chianne. James attacked Ashworth. The combatants had to be pulled apart by a mass of Southern Fried personnel. 

Ashworth got into it with Sexton and attacked him from behind. Buck came out to help Sexton. Seabolt attacked Buck. Hawkins entered the fray. Stevens was next. Halen, Vain, Cross all joined the party. The building was thrown into darkness. Lights on- Judas and Kelly Sexton were in the ring. Marv got bounced around culminating in an elbow from Kelly as the crowning blow. 

Sexton announced Monroe Massacre in a steel cage, 6 on 6 for August 15 -- Approved with Kelly vs. Ashworth, JJ, Stevens, Vain, Cross and Seabolt.
