From Alfred Feliciano:
Last weekend was one to remember, thanks in combination to the 2019 Aguada Con Comic Fest, CWA’s Eleventh Anniversary Show (Saturday July 20th in Dorado), and WWL’s War in West 3 (Sunday July 21st in Mayaguez). Despite the protests happening on the island, these events brought fans together for a memorable weekend of wrestling.
On CWA’s Eleventh Anniversary Show, there were several huge championship changes:
New CWA World Tag Team Champions: The reunited team of Los Aereos (Sensational Star Roger and “El Dueno del Mundo” Hiram Tua) became the newly crowned CWA World Tag Team Champions, defeating Los Fugitivos (Niche and Lynx). This was Los Fugitivos’ final appearance together as a tag team.
New CWA Women’s Champion: “La Chica de la Actitud” Roxy became the newly crowned CWA Women’s Champion, beating “Puerto Rican Power” Zeuxis.
New CWA Accion Vibrante Champion: Former member of the Hitman Squad, “Strong Style” Shane Bradley beat “El Bastardo” John Slayer to become the new CWA Accion Vibrante Champion.
New CWA Puerto Rican Champion: “The X Factor” Nexen (who also holds the NEW Promotion’s High Impact Championship out of Queens, NY) became the new CWA Puerto Rican Champion, beating five opponents in a Six Pack Challenge.
New CWA World Champion: “Showman” Mike Nice became the new CWA World Champion, beating Noel Rodriguez.
This show also featured a surprise return from CWA original, Diamond Slash, who came to the aid of Los Toros Salvajes. Salvajes ultimately defeated Savotaje in a Six Man Tag Team match. See below for two video comments from new champions, including CWA World Champion: “Showman” Mike Nice, new CWA World Tag Team Champions: Los Aereos, and CWA Women’s Champion: “La Chica de la Actitud” Roxxy.
