Christopher has developed into an A1 promo guy -- well spoken, confident and projects an specific identity.
A good match, especially considering Christopher had to go straight to it after being cooped up inside a casket for an hour. Saul has a good looking lariat. Loved the finish. Did not see the need for the close near fall with the briefcase.
So not a forgone conclusion that Ravenna will stand by her man and reject Ceretone's offer. Ravenna was was miffed about Christopher taking away her chance to go for the title and Shean's screw up added fuel to the fire.
Eric "The World" Walker promo. Walker said he was only professional wrestler to compete on all seven continents. He was in demand in Europe, Korea and England but it seemed nobody in the South wanted to step up and face him. Walker said he would defend his All Antarctic Championship next week at ProSouth.
They got about much upside out of this as possible and avoided most of the downside. Alexa was well protected. She took almost no punishment and looked good on offense without the men having to sell ridiculous stuff for a small woman. Ooten got a measure of revenge on Alexa. Amethyst scored a much needed pinfall. The downside was HOH's reluctance to lay them in on the women so a lot of their offense looked weak.
Harley said she was tired of hearing Keast speak and had a mystery opponent guaranteed to shut him up. Keast wanted Harley to give him Ooten at Wicked Havoc. Harley was confident that wasn't going to happen and out came the returning Mongrel.
(3) Cameron Keast defeated Mongrel (Britt Jackson) in 7:30. Harley was on color commentary. Keast was throwing everything he had at Mongrel. He had him rocking but could not get this strange being off his feet. Keast hit a twisting springboard crossbody but Mongrel rolled through and stayed on the attack. Keast gave Mongrel a fliatliner and transitioned to the Koji Clutch. Mongrel was closing to tapping but he powered out and reversed into a Kimura. Keast got Mongrel's shoulders to the mat. It looked like Mongrel rolled a shoulder at the last split second. Wicked called it as two count. Confusion reigned as referee Hunter signaled something Keast's shoulder. The bell rang. Wicked said Mongrel won by ref stoppage because Mongrel popped Keast's shoulder out of place. Wicked was wrong again. Hardy announced Keast as the winner.
That was one fucked up finish. The match was OK. Mongrel brings a distinct element but he's gots to be more vicious. I am loving Keast as an unapologetic, pandering babyface getting a chance to do thing's he's never gotten the chance to do.
Mongrel threatened to choke slam Keast. Harley started chanting "die, Cam, die" from the announcer's booth. Mongrel raised Keast's hand instead.
Keast told Harley she had Keast vs. Ooten to look forward to at Wicked Havoc. But next week was a certain special little girl's birthday. Keast cordially invited Harley and everyone else to Harley's Tragic Birthday Bash Take II and promised to give Harley a birthday she would remember FOREVER. The crowd chanted for him. Harley said it was idiotic for Cam to invite her to her own birthday.
Keast performed this this magical nonsense on the mic while selling a dislocated shoulder. I loved Harley no selling the birthday party to get a dig in on Cam.

(5) "The Ghost" Eric Silva defeated "Sleazy C" Caeden Ooten (with Harley Haven) in 8:44. Ooten said he he was put an end to ProSouth's ghost problem with a little Ghostbusting, except Sleazy C said it way more rambling Southern style than I can write it.
Ooten's one cocky young SOB and Alabama accent is something else. I miss those kind of accents. It's all so homogenized in Atlanta. But I digress.
ProSouth Champion Brandon Whatley arrived after the bell to take his throne at ringside. Ooten ducked under the ropes and sucker punched Silva on the break. Silva sent Ooten packing with flurry of blows. Ooten said that was luck. Looked like somebody getting their ass beat to me. Ooten hid behind Harley. Did't help him much.

Silva got preoccupied with Harley. Ooten capitalized and was landing stiff shots. Silva answered with the Hellplex and unleashed his arsenal. Silva tried for Collateral Danage but Ooten has it scouted and countered with the Loaded Gun Complex (pumhandle powerbomb). Ooten looked shocked when Silva kicked out. Ooten ran his mouth like a damn fool. Collateral Damage. 1-2-3.
Dallas said he knew it looked like he didn't need another belt. This wasn't about a belt, the title of ProSouth Champion is mattered to him. Dallas said he had all the respect in the world for Andrews, but he was dealing with a rock star in a belt collecting era.

They dropped the mics and tested each other, both going for signature moves and coming up empty. They were shoving and jawing when Kamikaze appeared on the ramp waving his Gold Rush briefcase. Andrews and Dallas were acknowledging Kamikaze's presence as the screen went to black.
A crucial segment in this story and both men came through. They got across how much the ProSouth Championship meant to them, made the title more than a prop and spiced it up with just a touch of physicality. Andrews has been something of an opaque character. It was great to see more of his personalit, while Dallas continues to expand his range on the mic.
